I ordered 1000 mugs for my non-profit's fundraiser, and they are all garbage. The glasses are coated in glue, and the logos are horribly applied. Plus, NOT WASHABLE?!?!

This entity is highly questionable in its business practices and the BBB and on-site reviews should be viewed through a broader screen that will identify many injured consumers documented through various Internet sites. I used the web site to order imprinted T-shirts and the requested payment was made via PayPal. This was followed-up later by the Art department email stating that I would be paying $$$ more because the art work required multiple color, etc. I continued to question this because the art work was a B&W photo. I advised them to cancel the order and refund the monies all documented via email. The company confirmed acknowledgement of the cancellation and request for refund. But no refund I followed-up numerous times with the unseen and unidentified customer service but despite repeated promises, no refund.
They have also been unresponsive to the PayPal inquiry. My money is being enjoyed by the company and PayPal has received their cut for the transaction. Since many of the claims against Discount Mugs is couple hundred or less they know the filing fees and process for the Florida Small Claims Court process will negate any consumer action.
I'm still waiting for someone to complete my refund case. There is no way in hell I'm keeping what was sent. 25% off to keep it? Hilarious!

At least once a year, our company holds an event and offers giveaways to office staff and customers and I was among the people who were tasked to organize that event. This year, the company wanted to save on expenses but still made it a point to hold on to the traditional event; it had been customary and our people – staff and clients alike – have been looking forward to it. For several weeks I had been looking at various wine glass designs for my 60th birthday celebration. During the process of saving wine glasses to my file; discount mugs continually e-mailed and called me asking me to complete my purchase. When I finally selected the glass and design I wanted, I completed my order. My estimated delivery date was July 20th. I called to check the status on July 20th, only to be told that my glass selection was on back-order until October! I get it, items sell out. However, my problem with discount mugs is that no one every contacted me by phone or email to advise that the item was on back-order for 4 months! They managed to e-mail and call for me to place an order, but somehow they didn't the decency to contact me about a 4 month backorder! Thank God I called, if not I would have been waiting for something that wasn't even on the way. By the way, the tracking feature said that the glasses were in production; which is impossible if they do not even have the glasses. Now I have to rush and find another supplier before my August event. I wouldn't recommend that anyone take their chances with Discount Mugs for a special event. The cause more headache then needed.
Painted logos are not dishwasher safe - even on gentle cycles the logos wash right off. So now I spent $15 on pint glasses worth $2.
This site/company is awesome. They have an enormous selection that includes a lot of EVERYTHING imaginable! Great products!

I recently placed an order with Discount Mugs for an upcoming non profit charity Walk-a-thon. I explained to the rep I would be hosting this event in Ca as I'm based in NJ. I placed the order on 4. 1. 19 and my event is 4. 14. 19. I paid extra to have the order "rushed", to be received on 4.8 as I was hoping to receive them before I left for LA. They never were delivered on 4.8. I called the company and received some story that they were not sure what happened to them and the production dept was not sure if they would be able to produce them. Later that afternoon, I spoke to another rep and she promised me it would no longer be a problem as long as they could now be shipped to CA. On Friday, April 12 I decided to call to see where they were in transit and after being put on hold for over 15 minutes - "they stated we are sorry but are not able to produce these at this time". I never once received any type of notification that they were unable to deliver the product. This was a basic item, 100 sling backpacks with a one color logo. So now I have over 400 walkers attending a charity event tomorrow and we have nothing to recognize our "patients" with a thank you gift. In my 26 years of working in non profit sector, I've never worked with such an unprofessional company. How do you NOT contact someone to let them know the item you purchased is not being produced. I will make sure I do my do diligence and let everyone know in my line of business that this is not a company you want to work with. If they can't produce 100 plastic sling backpacks in 2 weeks and advise the consumer know they are incapable of doing this, what does it say about them...
If I could leave a negative 100 to infinity rating I would.

I ordered 150 tote bags and when they arrived they were ALL PRINTED WRONG! And not like the proof that was approved. Lucky for me I (initially) had enough buffer time to get a reprint an a new shipment in... however after making many customer service calls and sending numerous emails I was able to submit a claim and guess what... they denied it with out even notifying me (more time wasted).
After many more days of calls and emails they reopened the claim and approved a reprint... they stalled so much on the process that I was unable to get my product in time for my event even though my initial order was placed one month ahead of my event!
Needless to say disappointment does not even describe my levels of frustration.
OH YES I FORGOT... they sent my order out to a 3rd party vendor that they could not even contact huuuuummmmm! SHADY! I am still waiting for my refund... I shouldn't hold my breath on this.

I was inspired to be eco-friendly but I cannot just completely make a turn in an instant so I decided to do it little by little and start with avoiding the use of plastic bags. I was surprised when one day the grocery I used to shop at some times began using tote bags instead of plastic bags; the store also held a Go Green campaign highlighted by the use of tote bags. From there, I decided to use tote bags when doing the grocery. I liked the one provided by the store but wanted to have another one, a bigger tote bag for days when I buy our house's stock that would last for two weeks.

A friend suggested Discountmugs.com; she said she has bought a bag from them albeit a jute bag but remembered that it also offers tote bags. I visited the website to check if there are tote bags available from Discountmugs.com and the rest, as they say, is history.
I thanked my friend for referring this online store to me. Discountmugs.com is downright commendable. It got good stuff at prices you can afford. The tote bag I get is still in good condition after several uses and trips to the market. That's durability but not at the expense of your budget.

I was at my friend's wedding reception when their glass décor caught my eye. I asked my pal about it and he said my wife had the glass ware ordered from Discountmugs.com. I liked what the wedding planner had done with the glass, but to my surprise, even the drink ware and tote bag and key chain giveaways which I though were pretty costly came from Discountmugs.com. Everything they offered came at a lower price than you would expect, but I had little reason to order key chains or pens or mouse pads in bulk, right? But I still saved up when I first ordered a few individual items that I then designed on my own just for personal use. They lasted a good while and grabbed a great deal of attention that now I have a sideline business of making personalized items like pens, coffee mugs, and jute bags that I sell through Facebook. The coffee and beer mugs and their classic designs were instant best sellers, and since most people just want to have their own classic beer mugs, I didn't have to work on its design that much. Just a name or quote was fine, so I saved a lot of money and effort.
Discountmugs.com's services are as top notch as their products, too. Once out of all the times I did business with them there were some delays in shipment, so I called up customer service. They were really helpful and it made me miss how a lot of company's customer service reps don't act that way anymore. Discountmugs.com's staffs are really taking customer service seriously. Anyway, Discountmugs.com is a great way a kid working his way through college like me makes good sideline income. I recommend Discountmugs.com to other newbie entrepreneurs and event planners out there.
These guys are pretty efficient. If yuh order a garment from them, request a sample in advance to make sure your order meets your expectations.
I just received an order of custom ball caps. The quality is horrendous which have rendered the product useless. I will update this review once the company has decided how to remedy the situation.
UPDATE: After sharing my grievances with DiscountMugs, they were able to apply a full credit toward my purchase. I am very satisfied with the company and hope to do more business with them in the near future.
One star is too damn good. There should be negative stars given. They were recommended by a friend who said their turnaround time was pretty quick. We were planning a wedding for August 25th. Was told three times the order would be delivered by the 20th of August. The ordered didn't even go into production until the 22nd of August yet no communication whatsoever. NONE. We contacted on the 23rd no reply until the morning of the 24th of August saying, "blah blah blah we can get it ship on the 12th of September." This after being assured our order would be DELIVERED by the 20th of August. My daughter is very upset at this VERY UNPROFESSIONALISM. I CANNOT RECOMMEND.
Answer: The imprint will wash off in the dishwasher, or if hot liquid is in mug for a few minutes may come off on your hand.
