I have been trying to process my cable bill for the past two weeks they have such incompetent people they have not yet been able to process my payment hear this direct tv pay my bill or I sue you when you cut off my cable I have saved my money in there
Save yourself the time and the money. As a Sports Bar + Restaurant we have 25+ TV's and we had thought DirecTV would be a great choice. We couldn't have been more wrong. We had a day of installation, and then right off the bat some TV's worked and some didn't. We have spoken to countless representatives and put in countless work orders just for them to not show up, or when they do... they try to charge us for their mistakes. The programs haven't EVER worked right. We've been fighting them to fix their problems since the first day of improper installation. We've spent an insane amount of money for a consistently terrible turn out. Please please please save yourself the time and energy. Choose anybody else for TV.
I have to reset my boxes daily and i still get pauses, delays and outages in my service. When I call, they don't do anything except tell me to what I already did. I don't know why I kept it this long. I will no longer work qith Direct TV or ATT. Customer service is some of the worst I've ever had to deal with. Run, don't walk away from this service and this company

Been trying to cancel for 3 days! I can't get thru these people! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Someone needs to sue these scammers! I wish I had never ever gotten this company! If I commit suicide you will know it was because of direct tv. They make it impossible to get a refund or even cancel the service all together! Run as fast as you can people! This company just $#*!s on you, and take your money!
Utter confusion within DirecTV's customer service center. They really struggle with the basics. It all started with the AT&T merger. They appear to use the same call center staff to manage both cellphone and DirecTV customers.
They are impossible to deal with! We've been customers for close to 30 years. They used to be good when they were a stand alone TV service. Since they joined w/ ATT they are HORRIBLE!. ATT is so vad I even changed phone service. THAT was the best move I ever made! My bill went up from $125.00 to $194.43! The programming is good if you like a lot of junk viewing. Just spent 1 hr+ on the phone w/ them. I'm going to switch to the Choice plan which will be $164 until next May when it will go up to $202 (& that's without HBO, Showtime)! So, now I'm looking for a new TV service. Their customer service is terrible. Don't get involved w/ them! Their pricing changes every time you talk to them. They seem a bit confused as well. I don't care what their accent is, etc. I DO care that they don't seem to know what they are doing. Don't believe anything they tell you. Make sure you document everything you discuss & include date & time. It will be helpful. Hit the wrong star for sevice. It is a zero
Don't do it. It has got to be the worst experience ever! From their long waiting times on the phone to their AI on the the calls. Their crappy service, to the hoops needed to jump through to get it to simply work is ridiculous! I haven't even mentioned the contract yet! I am ridiculously upset at this whole experience...if you can't tell. I cant say it enough...Don't do it!
We have had service with DirecTV for many years.(at least ten years) We got it as part of a bundle deal with A T & T. DIRECTV service has been great as opposed to any other service you can have. I have had cable tv service before, and a friend of mine had service with Dish TV. She was always complaining about it too. I consider myself fortunate to have a good service.

They leave the elderly hanging. They NEVER EVER come to fix anything. The yes you but still never show up. Very rude and disturbing. The price keeps going on the elderly too NO SENIOR DISCOUNTS Either. They suck. Please take my advice. Not worth it. Go elsewhere. So the elderly are still still still stuck from no shows.
We sold our home and I had our service shut off Aug 31st. Because I didn't cancel within the billing cycle they are nailing me for a whole month of service for Sept and I'm not even in the home. So I have to pay for a service that's not even hooked up. This is wrong on so many levels. I will NEVER get Direct again.
I tried to get Direct TV from AT&T. The installer wanted me to pay $75.00 for a pole and $70.00 to dig a 15 foot long ditch. The installer want me to pay him cash. I canceled this because that was not said when I made arrangements to get it. This is not how you do business with people.
They jeep raising the monthly fee. You call and complain and the will lower it to keep you from cancelling. Do not sign a contract and get locked in they will charge an enormous fee to get out of the contract. They gave TERRIBLE business practices!
I have been with direct stream now for 2 weeks and I am not happy with Our Service. I found out they will take my payment out for service on the 11th of every month regardless of what I say, they were not very apologetic about it. Also if I take it off Auto pay they will disconnect us. bad business..
I have been a client for 12 years, switched to DTV stream, they now want to charge me $350 to cancel satellite service! How can that be okay when I am going to another service they provide! EXTREMELY frustrating! Horribly bad way to do business.
I have pictures of all receipts and of equipment and they owe me this very frustrating ive spent more time with this pass the buck and getting no where is there some way to charge them for my srvices if i cant get this settled should i cancel all att services been with att since 1960s
Were quoted monthly, prices for direct tv entertainment package, and verified with salesman on phone asked twice and wrote all conversations down. Received bill summary for first month was a lot higher than was quoted, called customer service they fixed problem for first month got second months bill it was way higher than before, contacted customer service again and was told nothing could be done that the salesman that represents ATT had not been honest with me. Be Careful when dealing with ATT/Direct TV.

We are business account for years. Today we have issues with the signal. I was on the phone for 47 minutes, and was rudely told that I needed to speak to the business account, although I dialed that number.
This must be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. And again, this is a long standing business account. How do you keep your clients... It's mind blowing...
I have been a customer with direct tv since 2017 and this is the worst cable company I have ever had. Unfortunately due to where I live we don't have choices with different cable companies. Every month I have a new issue with this company such as my monthly bill is a little higher every month without changing my plan to charging me for channels that I didn't have and then they REFUSE to take these extra charges off your bill. So many issues I could write a two page review. I would NEVER recommend Direct tv to anyone. I am such a disappointed customer that I am canceling them and going back to antenna tv because having two channels is better than going thru this sh!? Every month.

They don't know how to do their job not to be rude, but they have no English speakers. They can't even do their job and on top of that they don't even disclose any of the information that you're supposed to be told.
Nothing works right. When signing up they say what channels you get a part of the packages. But that is not true they end up charging extra for the packages they said one gets as a part of the package. Nothing works right no matter what it is. Saving a video like a football game it may save 3/4 of the game but the 4th Qt it doesn't record it. When watching a saved video when you stop and go back to resume watching it starts the video all over. DirecTV is the worst of the Worst!
Answer: I saw a ad on a mailing paper for some really decent pricing but it was all a scam you do not get the pricing that were on the paper
Answer: It is a scam 100%. Just read the reviews. You don't realize it until they got your money and you need something! They are holding peoples money from them that doesn't belong to them. They may even tell you you'll get it back. Just keep waiting, you wont. Then you have to call back and go through the entire process again. I'm on 6 weeks now/Overdraft fees/No Thanksgiving/ and I have photo proof I cancelled 2 days before my free trial was up. They just didn't want me to cancel! Lol. They do things different here. You have been WARNED my friends!
Answer: Doesn't matter since they ignore the discrepancy once they have you under contract. No wonder their rating is so poor!
