I placed an Order in March, when it arrived one item was missing but I'd been charged for it. Six months on and numerous emails and 2 lengthy phone calls later I'm still waiting for my refund. Their Customer service is crap. I work in retail and if our store treated customers like this it would be all over the press. If they were a British firm I'd take them to small claims court.
I just bought a backpack from Desigual, in a shop in Tenerife. Of course the design is great. Imagine that at the first wearing the upper handle broke. Ok, i said maybe it will be ok after all. But at the second wearing the material started breaking everywhere especially at the top of the braces. I never expected that such an expensive brand had such poor quality items. It was my firt experience with them and I think my last one :(

Only recently started to buy their clothes, I always found it a bit overpriced. Was quite happy with some of their items though, and I bought 2 masks as well. Unfortunately you can't see them properly, as they are completely wrapped in and you can only see some of their design. One of them was lovely, the other was completely different style and quality. I could only see it at home, after I opened the original packaging. I didn't use it at all and took it back to the store with the receipt to at least exchange it, but a fairly rude manager said to me it was impossible because of hygienic reasons. The way she said it, however, more looked like she used it as an excuse and she didn't even say it in a nice manner. I only just spent £200 the previous week in their store, but she wouldn't bother to help with a £9 mask? Just to compare I had to take a foundation back to a well known cosmetics store, I used it once but didn't have the original box (I did have the receipt). She gave me a refund without hesitation, even though it was worth much more than that mask. In the long run it pays off, because I will go back the next week and the week after to buy their products. But Desigual has just lost a costumer for good over £9, as there are plenty of other shops I can buy from, and after the experience this shop is not one of my choices anymore.

Wanted to buy. No NYC stores numbers to call. Even the 1855 company number is now defunct. The online chat os weird to say the least. Long lag in response and they don't give an proper answer. Very time consuming and waste of my time. I not buying from them. Worried i might not get th item or any refund as theres no contact information at all. BEWARE!
Bought shoes for the wife from Desigual at Barcelona airport. Unfortunately they were a size too big but trying to exchange them has been a nightmare. You email to find out how you can do the exchange and you get ' automated' responses as they do not address your questions at all. Apparently you can't post stuff back to them (at own expense) for exchange but have to physically take the goods back, even if you bought the goods on your way back home to China. Shocking, I wonder how they survive as a business with this level of customer service
I wrote to a customer service an email, got no response. A day later I wrote them again about the issue related to promo code. An assistant was very careless, he did not care about customer satisfaction. Though I really liked a bag their, and it would be my first purchase. I ended up just giving up on desigual!
Refunds are just nightmares with Desigual.
For some reasons they have problems dealing with refunds.
I have been waiting over 2 months to get my money back. I returned the item on Time, in a perfect condition.
I Would not recommend Desigual online shopping to anyone.
Careless customer service, always not-available supervisors. I returned an order and 41 days later, still haven't got my refund. Contacted customer service, always told me to wait for another xx days. Don't shop online, service cannot be worse.
Very buggy website, often quits in the middle of a transaction.
TERRIBLE customer service! I sent back items worth hundreds of dollars over a month ago, and after hearing nothing about my refund, called their cs #. The woman, in very broken English had difficulty figuring out where my items are & said she didn't think they offer refunds! This might be a case for the bbb
A friend purchased a $150 jacket from Desigual for me as a gift. The jacket is a size too small. I contacted Desigual through Twitter and their website. They WILL NOT do exchanges for any item purchased overseas and sent to the US, even though they carry the exact same item on their Desigual USA site and in stores. Even if there was a store close to me they wouldn't do the exchange because "overseas and no receipt." Basically, they don't care about your business. I'll never buy from them.
I really like Desigual clothes, but I will never ever order on-line from them any more. I ordered several items with discounts, but I received only one item and they charged me shipping for whole order. I tried to find our where is the rest of the order and it's came our they out of stock, but on the website those items still available (but already without this discount). They didn't cancel my order (and there is no option I could cancel it by myself) and they assured me they will send it to me if get on stock again (probably if will not sell it for full price). Oh, thank you, I do not need it next year.
The belt of my new purse broke the second time I used it. I tried to find a retour or replace option for defective items on their website - it doesn't exist. I tried the chat option - for an entire week it was either offline during normal business hours, or I was first in line for an hour, but no one spoke with me. I opened a ticket and received an automated reply that they'll respond within a day. A week later, no response, I opened a second ticket. Again no response. Finally I managed to get hold of someone on chat and found that I cannot simply get a new belt. Nor can I return the purse with a broken belt and get a new one. I need to return it and order again. If it has increased in price - tough luck. Plus, returning it implies filling forms, explaining, calling the delivery services and paying for it yourself. They say they'll pay you back, but how will I get hold of them again? Horrible experience and such a shame, because I truly love the stuff they sell :(
I purchased from Desigual.com on 17 December 2017, and at the time the website said guaranteed delivery in 1-7 days. I received a confirmation on 19 December that a UPS package label was created, and then checked daily on the progress. The package never left Desigual. No delivery in 1-7 days as promised. No response from Desigual until after Christmas. No presents for nieces and nephews. Response from Desigual, 10 days after purchase (Incident: **************) is that they are "investigating". If you want a package on time, don't order from Desigual.com.
I purchased few items online from desigual.ca BUT one of the dresses had a defect to the point that you cannot wear. I wrote email asking for the exchange as I ready like this dress- no they cannot do it. Ok, sent them several pics with the issue, they said they will take it back, full refund BUT, I have to go through the return process on my account, and guess what? Return process is blocked. Short story. Lot of emails and I'm still waiting for them to unblock it after 2 months. AND IF and when they do it, they will refund money after 30days of the moment they receive dress! This is discussing. I'm in IT world and know that they can unblock in no time. So how can I even trust them to send dreass and wait another few months to get money back. Prices high, quality rubbish and service beyond words. I didn't expect this from Desigual.

Terrible service! Customer service would not answer any questions to your current order, you get standard anwers - best case. I you`re lucky you get someone elses answer which is not relatetd to your question at all.
I fell in love with this designer when I was passing through the airport in Dallas, TX. I bought a few pieces then. Every since, I've been visiting the website to check out new items. I decided to order online and that's when the nightmare started. I saw a dress that I just adored and decided to order it. They charged my account immediately and almost a month later, I still have not received the dress. I have called the customer service number at least five times and have spoken to someone who is entirely useless. She can tell me nothing other than that the order has been received (which I know) and no status on my order which they said would be shipped within 5 days from ordering on the website. It will amaze me if this company makes it in the U.S. You just don't take a customer's hard earned cash and don't send the merchandise nor give them a clue as to when it will be shipped (if ever). I finally had to file a claim with Pay Pal and not until then did I get an "automated" email from Desigual telling me (after one month of not processing my order) that the item was now not available. Unbelievable! Yet, they still have my cash in their pocket. Can you imagine if they did this to thousands of people! What a crime! I am now so turned off, I'll never deal with this company nor buy this brand again!
They don't have a US phone number to call so you have to call international which my phone plan doesn't support. I was only able to email which they will answer after 48 hours! It has been SIX days and my order in still "being prepared" the web page says. WHEN ITS COMES IT GOING RIGHT BACK. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM.

Answer: I had been a fan of Desigual for years - but I will no longer purchase from them after my recent experience. They are not client-centred, they have poor customer service, and they commit fraud/theft. In summary: I ordered 3 items online and returned 1. I had paid with a gift card ($200) and my credit card ($300). When they refunded me for the $178 item I returned, they put money back onto a gift card instead of my credit card. This make zero sense! I used the gift card to buy the two items I kept PLUS paid an extra couple hundred on top of that! They should have refunded the $178 onto my credit card, it's the only honest way to go about it. Despite email contact, they refuse to give my money back on my credit card and rather insist that I spend all the money at their store. Basically they have determined that the gift card is not to be used for the actual items that I kept. How twisted is that? I tried calling customer service and could not reach anyone - nor did anyone call me back as the automated system said they would. Although their clothing and accessories are fun, colourful and unique, this company is actually sketchy, dishonest, and absolutely not one I recommend purchasing from. It's truly a shame.
