Well I needed a new pair of eyeglasses and had been looking online and found designer optics. Thought to myself that they had some good prices on eye wear so I went ahead and order a pair of Versace 1257 on 2/6/2021. It came on 12th which i had no problem with due to it being covid and all so I understand if the mail was slow. I was excited to have me a pair of authentic Versace eyeglass but when I open my package to my surprise it came in a plastic bag (picture). I have email them (with pictures) stating my problem but they kept emailing me back stating that all there glasses are "100% authentic, brand new, with the original packaging" and "All our products come with the original case and cloth." But yet no one can answer why mine came in a plastic bag? Seem like this website just want you to buy there products but once you get it and have a problem good luck with customer service! I'm very unhappy with there customer service and won't be buying from them again or any of my friends or family! A company is build on there customer service and this place has very little of that. The sad thing is I also ordered a pair of prada 2 days after I ordered the Versace. If I knew my eyeglass was going to come in a plastic bag then I wouldn't bought the second pair.
UPDATE: An hour after I place this review i received another email from them ( seem like a different person) and they stated that it must have been an error with there warehouse since all of there frames come with original case, cloth and authenticity card. They will be shipping me a original case, cloth and authenticity paper within 1 or 2 days so I will adjust my review once I receive the case and etc.

I need your help. I thought we had a deal. I paid you for frames and delivery for glasses-frames. Your website said you had these in stock. That's why I ordered these last Thursday 2/11/21. I paid roughly $30 for next day delivery.
It is now 2/16/21 and as I understand it the frames are on backorder. I have not given any expected delivery date. These are discontinued frames. If you don't have them in stock now I would be surprised if you will be able to get them now. At what point do I get my money back or confirmation that the order is processed?
In either case I should be reimbursed for the next day delivery payment you charged me.
I called your number at *******407 and was told I was caller number 6 and should expect a 40 minute hold time. Hmmm?
I am quite frustrated. I'm surprised your reviews were as good as they were.
Now I am caller number 3 with an estimated 30 minute hold time. Makes no sense…. Unless you only have one person fielding calls.
I would not recommend to any to purchase from you. You mistrepresented your stock. You charged me for next day delivery and did not follow thru and my only recourse is to sit on hold for 40 minutes while your one support tech gets to me.
Now your system will not accept my proof of order picture... What a joke.

I love the site and the service, they never disappoint! Real authentic eyewear without the extra fees that the other places add to what they pay for the exact same products. Designer optics is basically like cutting the middle man out, you get the same product minus the middle man fees!

I'm always nervous ordering from a website that I haven't heard of before, but I am so glad that I ordered from Designer Optics! They had a pair of Tiffany sunglasses that I've been looking for (sold out on the Tiffany & CO website) and they had them for literally half the price. I bought the extra $1.75 shipping insurance, just in case, but it wasn't even needed. Package was delivered within a week of placing my order! Glasses are perfect - came with the authentication papers and everything. Customer service response was very quick, too. I definitely recommend ordering from them!

Hi there, I haven't received the order that I made since January 27. However, based on the tracking information, I saw that the order has reached my country of residence since on the 6th of February but up till today... 11 February, there's no other information regarding the order.

Just got it, thanks to our postmaster who let us know the box arrived even though it didn't have the post office box number. Good to live in a small town for 45 years. In future, you should let people know if it is sent by postal service and we can easily provide the correct shipping address for that service.

This website scammed me for my money! I ordered non prescription sunglasses & paid for shipping insurance and they said they delivered my glasses but never did. They told me I have to file a police report which I did and the. Said a supervisor would contact me and I never heard back from them! They stopped responding to my emails as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Answer: Actually its not a scam, I took my glasses to a gucci retailer and had them verified.

Answer: Not easy at all! You can send an email, which will likely take at least a week for them to respond, or you can call. I have called and emailed several times. There are only 2 customer service people (I asked when I called) so you sit on hold for upwards of an hour. It is horrible. Then when you do finally get a person on the line, or an email response it is just, "Your glasses are almost ready. They should be shipped out soon." When you press for more detailed information they put you on hold and then come back and say that the lab is currently working on them. If you email for more information then you email is likely never returned.
