Had recently returned defective item sent to me under the guise that it was a 'shipment' from the manufacturer that I was waiting on.
The glasses were blemished, fingerprints on the box, not to mention they were assembled assymetrically with one side higher/lower than the other.
Have easily sent 40 emails back and forth with these people. A month later, my return was delivered back to the company and yet I still can't get any indication of when or 'if' I will ever recieve the product I purchased in wearable condition.
I never recieved any type of apology or acknowledgment of the foolery done in order to 'fill' my order.
If I wanted returned/lightly worn items i would shop at a consignment store.
Will never shop from this website again.
10/10 would not reccomend.
I love my glasses and they are original good quality defenentetly buying more I recommend it to my family and friends!

They sent me the wrong glasses and I have been trying to return them for over a week. I have been on hold 4 separate times for 30 or more minutes. The voice prompt tells me that there are over 40 people in the queue. Emailed them 5 times, still with no response. They clearly have no customer service to speak of. Now I have to resort to calling my credit card company to tell them to reverse the charges. I'm very skeptical about this company because the management is not clearly listed on the website and Google searches barely shows anyone who works there. Stay very far away from this company.

I Ordered One Crarrera frame on 02/12/2020(Order#SY*******). But I have yet to receive the product. Tracking says it was shipped on 2nd Deember'2020, Now USPAS Tracking history Showing Label Created, not yet in system!, it is now 120 days since ordering and the company refused to refund our money or ship an new product. Company saying to wait another week/month?, they are unable to process the refund and the manger is out of office. Very disappointed...

I orders a pair of Prada Sunglasses that I saw at a Sunglass Hut store. They were marked at, $310.00. I saw them at Designer Optics online for, $123.00. I was sceptical since the huge price difference. Well, they're actually exactly what I saw at Sunglass Hut. Sooooooo happy I waited and got them online at Designer Optics. I highly recommend this website and will most definitely order from them again.

I made two orders from them. The first one for $85, I received the glasses without a case but they sent me a case after contacting the customer service by email.
But my second order for $200 was NEVER delivered! Even it was saying delivered in their website. I tried to call them but no one answers the calls. Even the email support are not answering my emails.

To order the item was very simple. When it comes to tracking item and delivery thats were im disappointed you have to download the SHOP app. Then it's delivered by UPS. When I started tracking package it said it was delivered then came 4 days later. Today people steal packages and it would have been helpful if they could have got the facts straight.

I got flex frames back in 2019 and the one part they don't mention is the hinge joins are NOT flexible... at ALL. So upon their very first encounter with my toddler she tore the left arm off the pair. No biggie, I thought, I'll just get it fixed! Well apparently the only way to fix it was to buy a new pair of frames and my optician wanted to charge me $400 for the frames and repair! Luckily Designer Optics has them for a bargain price in comparison... now I can wear my year old NEW glasses, lol. Thank you!

I ordered few weeks ago prescription glasses on designeroptics.com (Order ID: *******) The ones I've received were for distance when I was expecting reading. I sent several messages to their customer service but have received NO answers so far. What am I supposed to do? We also refund 80% of the value of the frame only, not the lenses for the Rx product. After 2 items being on "backorder" I finally got a pair of glasses. They need a better system to update their inventory. Alot of the glasses on the site that isn't available, yet there is an option to order it. After weeks of waiting your told it's discontinued... Aside from that annoyance the shipping was fast and the pair of glasses I received are authentic so that's awesome.

Answer: Actually its not a scam, I took my glasses to a gucci retailer and had them verified.

Answer: Not easy at all! You can send an email, which will likely take at least a week for them to respond, or you can call. I have called and emailed several times. There are only 2 customer service people (I asked when I called) so you sit on hold for upwards of an hour. It is horrible. Then when you do finally get a person on the line, or an email response it is just, "Your glasses are almost ready. They should be shipped out soon." When you press for more detailed information they put you on hold and then come back and say that the lab is currently working on them. If you email for more information then you email is likely never returned.

Answer: I put in an order from Canada back in April 2025. There were some delays in shipping and delivery due to holiday long weekend and availability of the frames I ordered from the store. But I did get my order after a few weeks delay. So they are legitimate. Price I paid for the frames was reasonable even with the dollar exchange rate. I would consider ordering from Designer Optics again.
