I ordered a voucher for 799.00 after giving it more thought I decided the service was not for me. I requested a refund the following day as the website said there was a 14 day return policy. This was March 25th 2013 I have still not received a refund and it is June 12th 2013. I have emailed 5 times and called 3 times and every time they just say sorry for the inconvience we will look into the matter. I have dealt with other online discount sites and have never had a problem before. This site is a scam and should not be trusted. I am through contacting them and will now put in a complaint with the better business bureau. I will never deal with this site again and will definitely let everyone I know know how awful they are.
TERRIBLE, PATHETIC customer service, pretty much non-existent, and junk for products! DO NOT order from this site, they are a total rip-off! I have spent hundreds of dollars ordering products and services since 2012 with satisfactory results but in the last year have experienced nothing but a headache in dealing with them! Products take forever to be received if at all and the ones received are of terrible quality!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! There is none. Emails and phone calls are not returned. Purchased items are not sent, or if sent are damaged. Why is this business still running. Currently pursuing legal actions and better business bureau.
I have purchased 4 different deals from this site. One had to be refunded which took some time to get but otherwise I have been quite satisfied with the level of service and quality of products.
Ok, here it is. I purchased a deal on JUNE 24, asked for a refund on JUNE 26... Deal is showing up as refunded, but I NEVER received my money back! I emailed them dozens of times, called them as well, no reply whatsoever! I will never buy from them again. Emailed the CEO - DAVID M, and he doenst even reply back! Bad business... Do NOT PAY WITH PAYPAL! They will not return your money!
If I could give nothing I would. I too ordered something and never recieved it. I called and called and called and... I compared to the other complainents was able to get most of my money back, but I had to create an account with Paypal and it cost me $0.50 which they also said it wouldn't cost me.
Anyways, I too will go on social media and make sure others NEVER deal with these people. They lie and misrepresent themselves.
I did not subscribe this site, yet I started getting emails directly in my emails account. The Unsubscribe Instantly link doesn't work at all and the Why Did I Get This link says you subscribed on our website. No, I didn't. I've unsubscribed using a 2nd link under the Why Did I Get This. I could swear I had already done this though and still continue to get them.
This was THE WORST experience I have EVER had! I wish I found this site before I even considered purchasing from them! I'm STILL on hold to get my refund that a manager I finally got a hold of said I will get a refund! Service is horrible and I already lost money sending the product back that was basically crap! I'm SO surprised they are still in business and next time I will always google before ordering since if they close, I'm sure they'll open in another name. This is such a learning experience and will have to count my losses - horrible horrible horrible...

Total scam. My husband paid for an iPad mini cover that never showed. Heard about the scams on CBC as well. Really disappointed and will NEVER give them a dime again. Ignored every inquiry. Wagjag, Groupon, Dealfind are good. DEALATHONS SUCKS AND ARE THIEVES/CRIMINAL. BUYER BEWARE.
I bought a butcher block they were selling. Excellent bamboo quality that I saw retail for $129 at crate and barrel. I paid only $33 from dealathons.com

I bought a voucher and requested a refund the next day when I found something cheaper, they said they would issue a refund, it's been a month now and still nothing. No reply when I follow up with them either. THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM.
They have owed me $72.00 since April. In September after 72 phone calls and emails they promised me a credit. This was never received. I wish I could give them a -5*
Purchase something 7 weeks ago till now I have not received it. Email and call customer service, no response. I am glad it is not a big purchase. Cheating, stay away!
Beyond Terrible!
I recently bought 2 vouchers for body wrap and massage in August. I called the business at least 6 times until someone picked up only to tell me they are fully booked for months and only one employee is working and therefore my friend and I cannot come in and have the services done together.
So i emailed Dealathons and asked if I can just receive "CREDITS" because I am not getting the services I was initially hoping for. I get a crummy answer from the rep (who doesn't even leave his or her name) telling me their "14 day refund policy" over and over again and pretty much saying I'm stuck with the vouchers.
So today I phoned the Spa 6 times again, no one picked up. I email dealathons again. Dont know what they're going to say but I NEVER want to use their services again. They don't provide any detailed information about the business they are promoting and when there is a problem, Dealathon reps just tell their customers nothing can be done because no specific details were listed on the deal. SCAM.
I've had way better experiences on other similar sites, don't ever use dealathons, period.
I have been a purchaser on Dealathons for over a year. I have had mostly good experiences, and when the deal did not workout, their staff was always helpful. I would shop here again!
I first encountered this website when I decided to order a Dr Dre portable Bluetooth speaker for my boyfriend for valentines day. About a week later the speaker arrived, and when I opened the package the box itself was in such bad shape, full of dents and ripped up. I wasn't going to test the speaker but out of curiosity i decided to and i am glad i did because it was defective and didn't emit any sound what so ever. I called Dealathon about 5 or 6 times, where i was constantly hung up on and was never able to reach anyone from their customer service department. I also emailed them 2 or 3 times and i was finally able to receive a response a week before valentines day. They told me that i was no longer able to receive a refund because the 14 day window had already passed, which would not have been the case if they had not taken weeks to reply to my messages. I settled for a 60 dollar credit and ordered another product where i ended up spending an additional $30 on top of what i had already paid for the defective speaker. It has now been about three weeks and the status of my order is still processing. I would not be surprised at all if i never receive my product or my order, i am honestly so annoyed and frustrated i wish i had stumbled upon this website sooner and never wasted my time or money.

Buyer beware. My friend has been chasing this company for a few months trying to get paid for a deal they did with dealathons. Constant emailing to the CEO - David, and leaving messages with the receptionist. No phone calls ever returned. Always an excuse, and the answer is the cheque is being couriered.
Except the Cheque never arrives...
Makes me wonder whether the donation to the children's hospital actually gets paid out, when they can't even pay their partners in a timely manner. Definitely, not a good business practice, hurts the small company's with big hearts!
Many of these small businesses turn to companies like these to increase their business and traffic flow through their stores, but when they don't get paid, it puts them in jeopardy as they offer such great deals at a loss on the companies end.
Suggestion If you want to donate money to children's hospital, do it direct, then at least you know it will get there! As all charities will acknowledge your donation with a letter.
Support small businesses, but go into the store, chances are they have great deals with out having to pre-buy a coupon to get it.
Im EXTREMELY disappointed in Dealathons and am starting to believe they are thiefs. I ordered a product back in May for $162! I have yet to receive the product, nor a refund. I have now asked for a refund, as 5 months is entirely too long I constantly send emails, leave messages, yet no one can give me a straight answer as to why I haven't received my refund. I keep getting the standard "Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience. We are working towards resolving this issue. Thank you for your time and patience." Obviously their standard issue response for complaints. BUYERS BEWARE. THIS IS NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY!
Bought a voucher for a car wash from Dealathons. After many attempts to book, it turned out the company offering the car washes didn't really exist. I know this because I did a drive-by one day to ask for a booking in person and it was a deserted industrial unit. Asked Dealathons for a refund. Around 2 months later they finally pay up, into a Paypal account, so I consequently get charged a fee by Paypal. Not sure how stupid they think their customers are. They were hard to get to speak to, didn't return a single message and when I did get hold of somebody, they lied about the company being in business (repeatedly) and they lied about the refund being sent when it was originally supposed to have been. They even sent me a confirmation email for the refund, then conveniently 'forgot' to process it!
Being very generous and ignoring the fact that Dealathons did not check out the company properly in the first place, their customer service is appauling. Give them a wide berth, there are better deal sites out there.
Also, i want my $1.14 Paypal fee back please David M.

Answer: I just made a purchase on this website a week ago and I wish I had read these reviews prior to this purchase. I have tried to contact customer service through email/phone, but no reply. I am not willing to put up with this nonsense as I do not have the time for this. If I do not hear back or do not receive my purchase, I will take my case to court.
