Signed up and within two hours was inundated with messages from fake profiles. Not a single real person. Seriously, who writes that crap? No self respecting woman could stomach it.

Dating.com is not completely a fraudulent dating site but it is grossly manipulative. The naive women on the site (some are bots, I have proof), have obviously been told to keep chatting and emailing men who contact them to run up charges. And after a few chats they never appear online again making your contact a complete waste of time (and money). I count 30+ women who have made no attempt to reconnect with me later on.The site BLOCKS any email exchange or attempt to give contact number (even if you spell out the numbers). Each women is told (threatened?) not to go outside to any other site via Whatsapp or any other social network. I suspect many are on the payroll. I'm sure the Malta-based company will deny it. Perhaps after spending hundreds or thousands of dollars you may get lucky if you visit the country of a woman to meet. Oh and the phony ones who claim to be located in the USA are not, I have proof.The on-phone customer service folks do the best they can but you can tell they are uneasy explaining how it all works or how it rips men off. They cover the devious people who created such an exploitative application. I intend to demand a full refund for the money I spent and wasted. The time I wasted is my loss. Next I'll notify Google, Apple, Yahoo, AOL and every other search engine about this ripoff site and the ads they run on each. Took me 10 minutes to realize it was a scam, it's the same old website filled with fake profiles of beautiful women that chat you up to have you spend your credits (which of course I didn't spend a single penny on them because I'm not stupid) with dumb questions that never get anywhere, nothing new there. What I'm impressed to find here is the ridiculous amount of time/money they spend to put 5 stars reviews which are obviously as hilariously fake as the site itself, and ALEX, before you waste your time commenting this review, dude, I'M NOT STUPID MMMKAY? I'M NOT BUYING, YOU ARE A BAD PERSON, GET A DECENT JOB AND STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE! Lmao

DO NOT bother to subscribe to this website or any other similar ones where you earn points by way of credits, they entice you with a small amount, say £19.99 for instance, but withtin 30 messages tops, then the credit runs out, so in the middle of a message you know you have to purchase more. The guys are too sleek to be true but wanted to see for myself before committing fully. One's phone number and email addresses cannot be given out (they are displayed as asterisks) which means that no real connection or any possibility of meeting up is feasible. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE/COVID. THIS SITE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN - AVOID AT ALL COST

Ghis site is a huge scam! With $ 22,99 you can only write a few words and again they ask to pay... They should feel ashame taking advantage of people feeling lonely, looking for a new love!

Few sec after creating the account, a lot of girl started to write me! Which was dumb, because I didn't even had a profilr picture or any description on me haha but oh well I decided to follow!

Since I was suspicious about the amount of girls writing so fast i decided to add a prepaid card with 20 us instead of a credit card!
And that was the best thing i could have done, attaching screenshots of the ammount of attemps to charge my card in less than 5m

Plus fees are super expensive, really crasy if you ask me, they charge you almost 1 us = 1 credit per min of live chat done hahah that imposible to hold up! Stay away of this web! Pure scam

I was on this site for about a week. I am 51 and started getting a lot of traffic from alluring rather young women. I started seeing that with how the site is set up, this would have cost me a ton of money if I responded to even half of them. That got me suspicious and looked into such tactics because I realized that instead of me being a fish in a pond looking for other fish, I might be dealing with sharks having others pose as fish seeking to nab my wallet!
One buys credits. If you are cautious, like me, you get the starter package where a credit costs $ 0.80 each. Well, just reading an email costs 10 credits! But if you spend $400, a credit will only cost $0.40. YIKES! So, even at that rate, I would only get to READ 10 emails? That's ridiculous. And then what I see commonly reported started happening: all these beautiful, young women began not only trying to get my attention, but SENDING ME EMAILS. When I connected how that the more I respond, the more money the site would make, and the more poor I would get, that's when I opted out. I was also getting suspicious because the FAQ page is very brief and what service you were actually getting wasn't specifically defined.
At least their customer service rep was very cooperative and nice. That's why they got one star. I am not sure if such activity can happen in spite of a site, but I would find it difficult to do without someone higher up at such an organization to not be involved.

Websites itself is a legitimate scam. I have talk with several members on the site and most of them were 90 percent fake or scammers. I have lost 800 dollars for the first one I chatted and then I suddenly stop communicating with him because I know he wants to scam me and then I search again, same with next person I chatted they were asking for the flight ticket coming back to the US so I block him. Then I search again, the third one ask for itune card. Just imagine all those men I chatted wanted to scam me. Then I dont leave the websites anymore I have to concentrate talking on the websites which is very very expensive. I have chatted with several popular members and all of them doesnt want to live the dating site, they only wan to communicate with me on that site. And I have to concentrate with one guy after 6 mos of communicating with him, it seems like he only wanted me buy a credit all the time so he can earn more money on that dating site. Most popular members on that sites were not scam but they all act like scammers because you have to pay money all the time you wanted to communicate with them. So I totally totally say that this website is house for scammers. And it was dangerous because it blends with real people, scam, and fake profiles. I hope everybody would learn from my experience.

I just left dating.com yesterday. I was so disappointed. I paid for the subscription of 9.99 dollars which I've known yesterday that it is monthly. The day after I subscribed I thought I can chat with men at the site but to my surprise. I still need to pay for credits in order to talk to men searching too. I paid 20 credits and that cost 15.99 but to my disappointment I used that for only less than 5 minutes. I told myself this dating site is only for the rich and famous. To summed it up I spent more than 400 dollars very dissatisfied. U will pay 10 credits if u open an email but first time I made an email which the website say only 10 credits I bought first 20 credits after sending my email I have no more credits anymore that means 1 long email cost you 20 credits. Oh boy, more than the meter of the crooked taxi driver. ZYou will pay every activity even just opening the pictures sent to you by men searching, u have to pay for credits I can really say it is a worst dating website, a scam website. Pls. Don't ever join this scam website which all men seems like u and want to marry u. Don't try to join you will lose a lot of money getting nothing but all disappointment. Compared to the amount & calibre of replies I got on other sites I was gobsmacked by how many messages I was receiving here - had I suddenly become irrisitable? It was then that I started to compare the messages I was receiving. So many widowers, Dr's, CEO's who were apparently off camping, in their fancy cars to work on their already perfect bodies, somewhere in nature! Also almost everyone seemed amazing (and despite my set filter YOUNG as in 26 but a Dr!). There are apparently some real people on this site but I ran out of credit before I found them I have to agree with another review that said they thought this was just a very costly but very cleverly designed dating site.
I'm currently waiting for a reply from Customer service as I made a mistake when trying to cancel my recurring payment via PayPal.
