It's not a coincidence that literally every comment on their social media posts is about terrible experiences. My order arrived defective 5 days ago. I emailed support requesting a return 5 days ago. I'm still waiting for my RMA and refund.
I have initiated a dispute via PayPal.
First order was cancelled by DS after a week due to "vendor not having adequate stock". Got an email about that so I know they have my address in the system.
I had to purchase as a guest because the site doesn't allow me to log in with my email address or using Facebook (it just continues to go back to the login screen) and now, after setting up an account and making another purchase, I can't log in to see my orders or account. It just keeps asking for log in information.
I used the form on the Contact Us page to enquire about my order and the logging in issue a week ago and have not been contacted. Very poor service on all fronts.
The name says it all. They do steal from consumers. No receipts, no tracking emails, double billing, never sends items or sends BROKEN items. Does not answer phone. Ignores emails. How does this racket stay in business?
My wife ordered a phone 6 days ago and received a shipping notification but it still show as not shipped when checking the tracking number. We have received no notice from dailysteals of a delay and are not sure how to proceed. Unimpressed and worried that we will not get what we paid for.
Received my computer and it looks great, but some documentation would have been helpful. This is my first laptop and there are things about it that I don't understand. Also, it would be nice if the descriptions included more info.
I ordered a refurbished Pixel 3 that was supposed to be Grade A "containing little to no cosmetic defects". The phone I received had a badly scratched screen. I've contacted support twice but after four days still have no response.
Received a supposed NEW product, which arrived used, missing parts, and damaged, several attempts to contact customer service but no luck. No phone number listed, going to have to go back tom my credit card to have the charge reversed.
I have been shopping with Daily Steals for a while now. I get their daily email and take time to read it due to finding things that interest me. I had to contact them once with a defective product, got an okay to return and received my credit in a timely manner. Some times I email them about certain products and I receive an answer in no time flat. Very courteous and nice. Been happy with them... I think you always hear the bad negative stuff when people are upset... too bad the happy ones don't take time to review them!
Purchased a sweatshirt three weeks ago and although Immediate payment through PayPal there has been no response from merchant to phone messages and emails. I have tried three times to contact this company to no avail. There is no tracking number of the shipment to follow as well. VERY frustrating!
Hello! Our suppliers were out of the office last week due to the observance of the Jewish Holiday. We have expedited all shipments and tracking will update within 24 hours! We appreciate your patience! Thank you
I placed an order over 4 months ago, and I expected a slow shipping time. But after the first 30 days, I grew suspicious and contacted them. They responded the following day explaining that an "outside source" has to be contacted, and give them 10 business days to resolve the issue. 4 months later and several emails to them still has me waiting with excuses blaming this "outside source". I requested my money back, and was told they can't do refunds per policy. WTH!
Made a few purchases from them over the last year or so with no problems. My last purchase, though, was defective and needed to be returned for an exchange. David F promptly sent me a return authorization with postage. I was told, by the post office, that the postage would only cover returning documents, not an item that weighed nearly two pounds and that they could be refunded for the postage if not used. I explained this to David in an email and he refused to send more postage saying that they would lose the original postage.
Hello,
I am sorry to hear you experience was less than extraordinary with us.
I will be more than happy to assist you in resolving this issue.
May I have your order number?
I look forward to assisting you.
Purchased a S9+ Phone from them. The description said "unlocked". However the phone was still on lease and not paid off. They were selling phones that were not supposed to be sold. I realized this too late and was not able to return the phone for a refund. Contacted customer service and they were very slow in responding and never helped with a resolution even though they knew it was their fault to be selling blacklisted phones. So be cautious when buying electronics from them. Very shady company, my credit company was not able to find a phone number for their business. They only communicate through emails and are never accountable. I know that this review wont be posted because they will be only posting positive reviews on their website. I will be filing a police case and also take legal action because they cheated me and stole $450 from me.
This outfit takes the cake for the worst online purchase experience I have ever had.
I ordered two things from them, both presumably new-in-box. Both items were sent promptly. That is the only good news.
However, both items were missing necessary cables and documentation (user guides). The items received were incomplete, opened and clearly could not have been new.
I used the "Contact Us" form to inform DailySteals of the problem and asked for remedy. I have received no response. This is the only form of contact that they offer.
I will need to see if my credit card company will help me with this situation. Additionally I will plan to file a consumer fraud complaint with my state's attorney general office.
Ordered a pair of jean shorts at half price. They arrived nicely packaged and just like the picture. My only problem was they were out of stock on 4 out of 5 styles/colors. Im real happy with my purchase!
I ordered my item almost 2 weeks ago and USPS still says they have not received the package from daily steals. They took my money but did not send the product, I have sent emails and have gotten no response. Maybe a bad review will get them to listen.
Some stuff is junk and some is good. The 2 worst problems are 1- You pay for the merchandise immediately, but it does not get shipped for a long period of time after purchasing. They seem to keep your money drawing interest for a period of time before having the item shipped. Why not keep your money in your bank until they are ready to ship. 2- Customer support is non-existent. IF you get a response to an inquiry, it's not timely and it's a generalize answer, copy and paste, one size fits all response. Nothing specific to YOUR inquiry.
This business uses dark age business practices in a digital age. Stay away from this site. You can buy the same or similar products at same or similar prices elsewhere without delays and better customer services.
Got solar post lights on eBay, 8 out of twelve Batteries doesn't hold charge, send to me 8 Alkaline batteries (non rechargeable) after that offer credit for $2.75 to bid for batteries on an auction that ends up on $30.50 plus $5.68 shipping, after that apologies and end of communication.
Prior that, got two Bluetooth headsets, one with no volume and the other never got batteries charged, got to return at my expense.
I ordered something from Daily Steals and it never got delivered. They claim that FedEx delivered it and that they can't do anything about it since it's marked as "Delivered." So at some point my package was either never sent or stolen and their customer service simply said they could do nothing about it and that I would have to get in touch with my bank to file for a charge back. Abysmal customer service!
I have ordered from dailysteals.com since 2010 and have never been particularly thrilled with the shipping. They take a long time to even ship the product and once it is shipped they must pick the slowest possible method. Most recently I ordered a product that was listed as shipped but the tracking number that was listed with it said that is was not shipped. I have contacted them multiple times and have not heard back from them. I would avoid the website at any cost. Typically they carry the same deals as many other websites so you can surely find what you are looking for elsewhere.
Hopefully, they will allow a post with no stars! Not only is this site a rip off, I am convinced that they advertise items they do not have, take your money immediately and give back what they must if you scream loud enough! I purchased headphones three weeks ago... My card was debited immediately and the items showed as shipped... They then acknowledged that they were NEVER shipped and to please just wait a few days. So I waited. Never shipped, and no response from customer service. After numerous threats, they acknowledged that they did not have the items but that it would take 10 days to credit my money back. (Amazing that they take it within minutes but hold money.) So far, three weeks, no headphones and no money. I'm calling a fraud here.
Answer: Yes, worst customer services experience in my memory not worth any savings.
