No legitimate customer service - Untrustworthy and dishonorable practices

I highly recommend staying away from this company. They make getting a hold of anyone in customer service nearly impossible for a reason. There is no phone number. The online form to contact someone receives a generic automated response. After placing 2 large orders that arrived in multiple shipments, I awaited the final piece of my order which as one out of two weighted blankets with hoodie that I had purchased. The 5 other similar items I placed (all in different colors and patterns) were delivered separately (except for 2 that were packaged together). Since they arrived in so many different shipments, I waited several days to for the final cream color to arrive – this was the only blanket that I ordered 2 of the same color in (which I now believe the person who handled packing my order did not note the quantity was 2) before contacting through their website to inquire about missing item. I reached out via this ONLY way to dialog with Daily Steals 3X and never received assistance from anyone. I then left my disapproval and dismay about this on their Facebook site after trying to research online other methods to reach them like live chat, phone number etc., which there are none. Within minutes, someone contacted me via email with the reason being someone had a family emergency and that is why there was over a week delay with someone getting back to me. Ruth (the CSR) said she would handle this problem for me. Today, the answer she gave me is a tracking number saying all items were delivered. No refund will be given. When you open the tracking number, you do not see what items were in the order. Like I said, I received everything I ordered in multiple shipments (she only provided one tracking number), you cannot tell what the order contained, and it does not help me with the missing item from my entire order! I have asked/begged for assistance on this. I am not ok with losing $43 on a packing error on their end. They are the ones who refuse to refund me for an error they made! I have no problem paying for items I wanted and ordered and RECEIVE but I am not ok with being ignored and having money taken from me unfairly. This seems to be a pattern of theirs. Zero accountability. Shady practices especially when trying to get legitimate help with a problem with your order. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB next. I have wasted so much of my time trying to get a hold of someone at this company and have never experienced such poor and unsatisfactory customer service from a company before and I order online 95% of the time I shop. BUYERS BEWARE! I will NEVER shop here again and will continue to spread the word about them taking my money and not fulfilling my entire order. I should have been refunded immediately!

Customer service what's that?

I got an email with tracking number etc. that my item ordered on May 9 th was sent to USPS ON May 11 2019 on May 13 and again on May 14 still no movement so when I requested a status from their web site and put in my order number copy paste I got no order found. Took the, over 48 hours to get back to me. First rep responds to me with a link to the USPS url which I had been staring at for 4 days showing no movement. I responded I can read that's why I'm contacting you. My pillow has a higher IQ. I then get a condescending email from their director of customer service and instead of listening to my issues and at this point my emails we not polite he threats me to send the email thread to my bank because and he attached a link the product had shipped. However the link was for Dhl carrier so I eventually come to find out item was shipped DHL EVEN THOUGH I NEVER WAS TOLD THIS OR SENT AN EMAIL. THEIR PLATFORM SUCKS THEY STAFF SUCKS I WONT USE THEM EVER AGAIN THEY DONT REALIZE YOUR CUSTOMERS MAKE YOUR BUSINESS THEY TREATED ME LIKE I WAS AN IDIOT. I am hoping to receive the item from DHL ON May 18 otherwise I am charging them back. Imagine they even wrote in an email to call DHL to take it up with them if item not received and threatened to use my email thread as proof that they shipped the order. Guess they never heard of CHARGEBACKS FOR NON RECEIPT OF GOODS. Oh the director of customer service thanks me in a final email for all the information and pertinent details of why I was confused caused they sent our erroneous information and links and said he will forward onto make sure they correct the problem. Would have been nice of them to do that from the get go. At this points point couldn't give a rats derriere.

Uggh, don't bother

I purchased a Samsung VR headset on August 16th. On August 24th it still hadn't shipped. I sent 3 emails to customer service, the 3rd one was replied to. They told me to enquire with the supplier who they had contracted with to get a status update. The supplier is called GolStarTech. They said sorry, you are SOL but we'll credit you. Not sure how they are going to do that as I did not contract with them and they do not have my credit card details. Still awaiting resolution.

Multiple failures here.

Firstly poor communication. It literally took me 4 days to get any kind of response. There is no phone # (Apparently for your convenience, hmm, BS on that), so you cannot call anyone to resolve issues, it's all in their own sweet time, or not at all...

Secondly fobbing me off by telling me to contact their vendor. Er what now? I placed the order with Dailysteals, I paid Dailysteals, I expect Dailysteals to sort the issue out.

Thirdly, if I do get a refund from Goldstartech then I will be very, very annoyed. I never gave Dailsteals permission to share my credit card details with Goldstar and if this happens then I will call my CC provider with a request to action this as fraud.

I've bought $1000's from Dailysteals over the years. At one point a year or two back they went bankrupt, and then re-surfaced. I suspect they have new management and/or owners. Their shipping has gone from quick and reliable to awful it-at-all, their customer support is non existent, and to cap it all I'd really urge you to check their prices before you buy. I've often seen that they are hawking is refurbed or retunred product at close to full retail. Not really much of a deal there considering warranty and other potential issues.

I would not recommend them at all. You have been warned...

I WROTE THE DAY I USED THE FAN AT WORK AND EXPLAINED THAT THE SPEED LOW TO HIGH WAS NOT WORKING NEVER RECIEVED A EMAIL ETC. VERY DISSAPOINTED

This is lengthy but a FULL analysis

This is lengthy but a FULL analysis. The last sentence is a summary though for the lazy people though lol. I have now ordered 2 extended batteries (mobile phone chargers) and that 3 in 1 (pen) vaporizer. The processing time of about 3 days was longer then the shipping of about 2 days for all my items. The first extended battery i got worked at first but the next day it broke when i plugged in the charging cord (pretty sure it was my fault for forcing in a bent usb cable). I emailed them like 3 days later about it and they emailed me back fairly quick (that day or night). They FULLY REFUNDED me and I didn't even have to send it back to them. I wanted to get the replacement but they said they were out of stock so whatever. I still got money back. I then proceeded to buy another extended battery (a *******mah one) from an actual brand and it is working great. Definetly not *******mah as advertised but it was half the price of my 3000mah mophie battery and id say it has more like 8000mah (it obviously wasn't going to be *******mah for the price and i knew that before i bought it. It was still a great deal). They actually sent me a second one of these *******mah batteries and i never ordered a second one nor was I charged for a second one. Maybe its an apology for the other battery that broke. I'm not complaining. The vape works great as well. It doesn't actually "vape" herbs it combusts them but no portable pen vapes are capable of this yet. Still works. The battery lasts me for days even when using it often despite being only 650mah (i think). Ecig cartridge works great and makes a lot of vapor as long as you have good liquid. Just ordered a phone case so we will so how it goes! Sorry for the lengthiness but I had to do this to support this site being that it has way too many bad reviews and i have only had good things come from it. SUMMARY: very good shipping/processing (5 business days for me), fully refunded for a faulty product (quickly and with just one email), and the products are extremely good quality (especially for the cheap prices) and work well (don't expect top notch things though like its not going to be genuine italian leather if its a $5 wallet).

On 11/7 I ordered a Roku 2XS

On 11/7 I ordered a Roku 2XS. I instead received the Roku XD. On 11/26 at 6:32 Daily Steals sent me an email in which they stated that the XD was "accidentally" shipped out instead of the Roku 2XS, and that they only found this out that same day. Daily Steals offered three options: 1) Keep the XD model, get a $20 refund plus a $10 credit on my next Daily Steals order 2)Return the XD model to exchange with an XS model as advertised. They would cover the shipping both ways, send an HDMI cable, and give a $10 credit towards my next Daily Steals purchase 3)Return the XD model with no shipping charges for a refund and also get a $10 credit towards my next purchase.

Sounds great, huh... but wait... here is the kicker... I was given 22 hours and 45 minutes to respond to this email. Since I was involved in a major project, I checked my emails the morning of 11/26, and then the evening of 11/27... oops... too late. Yes, because I checked my emails the day they sent the email in the morning, and the next day in the evening, I missed my "grace period". And what happens if you do not respond in 22 hours and 45 minutes? They automatically give you option 2... I have to keep the wrong product, but get $20 off what I paid. Really, this sounds like a bait and switch scam.

I have tried emailing Daily Steals on all their different drop down menu choices. I even called them, but funny, their mailbox is either full, or they have a message saying to email support. Obviously they do not want customers calling them.

I want the product I ordered, not some cheap version. It does not matter that they took $20 off the price. I would not have ordered the XS even if it was $10... I do NOT want that product. And then to give people 22 hours and 45 minutes to respond... it is obvious that they did not want to deal with the mass returns. Have you EVER heard of a store giving you a refund/exchange/error policy of 22 hours and 45 minutes? I haven't either.

I have ordered from them in the past and have been mostly satisfied, but this is the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. I am still waiting for a reply from this company and for them to make good on sending me what I ordered (though who knows how long this could take...).

This is not a good way for a company to stay in business. If I do not receive the exact product I ordered, I will have to contact my credit card company.

Beware of purchasing anything from them... you do not know what you will get. (I rated Daily Steals Customer service as n/a since as of 10 pm on 11/28, I have yet to interact with their customer service.)
