The item I was looking for was not in stock, but quickly found in the computer. Very helpful
I've tried shopping at my local cycle gear in Richmond since they opened, and every time I've visited, I've felt disappointed either by the products or the service. This time was no different. CycleGear brags on their ability to mount tires, and at one point it was a walk-in service. I had several friends who had used it and raved about it, but I prefer doing it myself. However, I've been working long shifts and had a big ride planned for the weekend and figured I'd kill two birds with one stone, and have the tire shipped to store and get it changed when I picked it up. I was promptly let down when I picked it up by the fact that it's now a 2+ day wait to have a tire changed and it's "when they have time" as the employee told me. I ended up doing it myself anyways and wasting time and gas driving 2 hours out of my way to visit the store. It's a mistake I won't continue making
Great service, still need to put thr shield on the helmet, but it should be great.
Motorcycling is new to me. Fortunately, I spent time with Dillon who helped me select the right helmut. We tried on several brands and models and ultimately selected the right color and the right fit. This was shipped to me at my home and came quickly.
When my tire was delivered to store, manager went above and beyond to mount and balance my tire. Great service Great tire
I ordered the rain suit size 4xl which normally would be slightly larger for me but this suit is too small but able to squeeze in it. Definitely need the sizes adjusted.
My buying experience on cycle gear was pretty good and easy to navigate the site however. The license plate holder I eventually purchased for my Harley was very cheaply made and I'm sure I'll have to purchase another one within a few months. They should have a quality assurance department at cycle gear to analyze the durability of the products that they sell on the site for longevity. I do not hold it against cycle gear for distributing subpar merchandise for certain manufacturers. However, I think that because cycle gear is such a big brand dat that they should be a little more selective of the products they distribute.
Ordered online and had my tires shipped to the store. Went to the store to pick them up and the employee even loaded them in my truck! Great service and easy.
Tires installed and balanced professionally, very happy ;)
I was greeting right away and they asked if there was anything they could help with. They suggested some items seeing as I'm going for my exam soon. I ended up having to order a jacket for my size which was done painlessly. My only negative comment would be that the store never called me when the order came in or at least never left a message. I realized it was in a few days after the fact when I tracked the package and saw that it had been delivered.
All the staff are very helpful and so friendly first time i shop and for sure all my future purchases will be from Cycle Gear
It's been great shopping here, I need to keep myself uncheck otherwise tempted to buy everything!
No specific issues, I ordered multiple things and everything was delivered successfully.
Tires shipped in a carton with spacers inside tire to keep sidewalks open.
My boots were perfect to size. They look amazing with the all black themed
GREAT! Service! Fair price, timely delivery, will shop in the future!
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
We appreciate your honest opinion and will follow up with our team to get this corrected. We hope to get things right next time. Thanks for letting us know.
