Easy, to find product and apply discount. Shipped to store not my house as planned
Service and delivery was quick and efficient. Employees were helpful
- Found what I wanted online and dropped by the store
- checked out helmets in store with the friendly and helpful staff making themselves available to help me
- there was a hard effort to upsell from a $200 helmet to a $700 Arai by another member who had not initially helped me (walked me through second go around and helped with sizing though and explained some of the advantages and benefits, which for information alone, was worth the social dance of dealing with sales, not negative, not positive, just information exchange which if you want to make a good decision, you have to be informed but sometimes it goes from opinion and information to pay monthly tactics which is helpful for some but not what I wanted to do)
- had a prior bad experience with Shoei so I stayed away from most of their helmets (GT2 air ended up being super loud after minor drop roll caused the foam liner to degrade over time causing the helmet to be deafening, the only thing I saw was a rolling scuff with no indent from my persinal experience, but if a $600 helmet can't survive that without being compromised, it makes me question the business strategy. Still, they showed me the 1400 by Shoei and promised it was quieter and mentioned the return policy if I didn't like it which was good to know in case I get curious enough to try again)
- helpful and informative staff overall between sizing, listening to my concerns, and making themselves available
Wish my local Cycle Gear carried more name brand gear. Glad you carry it online.
Cycle Gear had the helmet I wanted in stock and at a good price on sale. It came on time and was well packaged, so it was in perfect condition when I received it. So far the SHOEI GT-Air II is great. It has a better visor than the Sedeci I was using and it feels much nicer inside.
The tire shipping was a little slow with fedex. But the service was great at the store
Had a great experience looking for helmets. Everyone so nice and helpful.
My top case didn't have a key, which was replaced. Then the mounting plate did not fit the top case, which also needed to be replaced. The staff at cycle gear were extremely helpful with replacing the parts
Item was just as advertised and was a great value. It's a battery, so either it works or it doesn't. It works and it has been doing the job. My experience was good and I will buy again.
I look online for products I'm interested in and I run down to my cycle gear store in Manchester, Ct. To see if they have the product I want is in stock or if it's a helmet or clothing I try it on and if they don't have it in stock I'll have them order it and send it to my home. The sales associates are knowledgeable and always helpful 👍
No complaints. I got what i was looking for. Should not be a limitation on words
Just needed a little lower hearing for a dual-sport ride on my '23 CRF450RL since stock gearing is for highway cruising and passing fly-by sound tests for EPA. Went from stock 51 to a 52, allowing me to shorten the wheelbase slightly as well, which was another aim due to the tight, technical trails I expected near Park City, UT. The JT Sprockets Racelite aluminum sprocket seemed to fit my requirements and was about $50. It fit perfectly, looked good and was delivered to the store for pickup within a few days. If I was going to keep the bike for a while or anticipated heavy mud, I'd get a steel sprocket.
Fast affordable and the guys at the shop are cool. They are knowledgeable and are always willing to answer any questions I have thank you
Quick checkout and easy to find products. Fast delivery. Price was excellent and it fit!
Quick and easy. Didn't save much on the Riders Discount because of the taxes. That was disappointing.
Very Kind Service, I went to the Pensacola Store and ordered my helmet (Bell Qualifier Black and Gray) Fast shipping as told it would be,Friendly rep. Would recommend to anyone
I should have been more thorough in reading the description
Easy, fast and Cycle Gear had exactly what I wanted! Helmet looks great and the smaller cheek pads make it a perfect fit. Delivery was fast.
Cycle gear has knowledgeable industry experts that are always happy to assist!
The team in the shop were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
