I have bought 3 computers from cyberpower, the first 2 worked great and for a long time, but the latest one has been a nightmare. The battery essentially stopped working the day the warranty ran out, and customer service has been beyond horrible. Despite that I am a return customer and have recommended them to several friends who made purchases, they treated me like garbage. Not only did they say there was "nothing they could do" they literally did not even know the specs of the battery so I could order a new one, nor if I would be able to do it myself. The support tech also seemed annoyed I would even dare to ask such a thing. I have essentially been unable to use it for more than a couple hours at a time since then. This is not the first time it has had issues, the first month I had it it would freeze everytime it went idle, and sometimes it starts running extremely hot for no reason, despite that I have it on an elevate cooling pad. Their prices are good, but I will never purchase another product from them.
Got this pc for about two months now and it runs completely awesome no issues and it is pretty quiet great for gaming on semi high end games! Would recommned for any newcomers to pc gaming
I ordered a top shelf build with a new 4090 GPU which was $5000. On arrival I could see that the connector to the GPU was crushed up against the tempered glass side panel, bending the connector and clearly bending the circuit board with the GPU. Clearly the case is not compatible with the GPU. How was this not raised as an issue by the builder or flagged during QC? The pc was nevertheless boxed up and sent out to me. Bent connectors have been flagged as the issue in various failings of this GPU. Now CyberPower are expecting me to pay the $80 to ship this back to it. The last 3 emails I have sent have so far gone unanswered and I have had to dispute the transaction with me credit card company. Absolutely ridiculous. On top of this the 'professional cable management' is an absolute joke. Whoever built this pc has jammed all of the cables in with zero thought for management. Do not do business with this company.
I was in the middle of using a very expensive computer I had bought from CyberPowerPC when it suddenly sparked and caught fire. Very strange experience. So I pulled the power and later called their support. It was 13 months old and I had bought their 3 year warranty. Unfortunately they were very unhelpful and explained I would have to pay to ship them the equipment and pay for any installation as they only covered parts. Frankly they were pretty rude and dismissive and refused to get their manager for me to talk to, or give me any way to reach out to their manager. I've bought about 7 computers since from Ibuypowerpc and not a single one of them have caught fire and when there was an issue they were great to work with.
Bought CYBER "power" PC at Best Buy. Am poor and stupid. Have learned from mistake. Constant freezes.
Cyberpower PC used a 4 year OLD HARD DRIVE From 2015 in a 2019 Computer.
When you call to report Problem they suddenly don't have a record with S/N and date of Purchase.
Bought a 4000 dollar pc GPU was faulty sent it to them at my cost which is crap only for them to send the same broken card back. Run From these Clowns and There Junk PCs Just buy else where at all costs cause if something goes wrong they wont fix anything Period! Not to mention their so called technicians one of who left me on the phone for a half hour while he went on his lunch break. Just a Scumbag Company!
We ordered a computer which took months to get, when it arrived it came with a faulty graphics card (the heart of a gaming computer). We are in Canada and the company is in the US. I had to pay to ship my graphics card back to CyberPower to get RMA'ed, when we finally received the card back after a month, it was also faulty. They then wanted me to send back the computer or graphics card at which poitn I had had enough, because again, it would have cost me money to ship back the faulty computer/part. I have not asked for a refund and will be returning this computer. At no point would this company give any kind of compensation for the computer they sent that NEVER worked properly or any kind of apology. It seems they will take your money but will not give you proper customer service. I hope people read this review and avoid doing any business with this company.
First, I'd like to ask for all those who are experiencing what I am going through. Have you ever gotten your refund back? Had to pay $69 for their label to send their junk back and that will be taken out of my refund but yet when you call for the status of your refund, they transfer you to someone else and no one answers Sent them several videos of the problem and they think it's the video card. I've read a lot of your reviews and it all sounds the same cyber power has gone downhill. It's best to buy local so that you can return and get refunds instead of going through the headaches that everybody is posting, at least you can get your questions answered by buying local to me the Internet has gone wild everything you buy seems to be junk or you don't get what is expected and you have to send back and get refunds but when you have a support team that you can call and you still don't get answers That takes the cake will not do business with cyberpower and if you were smart, you do the same and I hope you're doing your research on companies or on items if you got 70% one star rating over a 5% five star rating stay away from a company like this.
Bought pc during the pandemic when nobody could find graphics cards.ordered pc from best buy and got it super quick with a 3070!
It runs games and has never crashed and also has never over heated at all it also works for streaming and
Cyberpower saved my faith in computers, I own the PREBUILT GAMING PC GLX ******* ordered back in November and it works great, easy set up, fast for all my needs; I am a gamer/streamer/etc. Before finding Cyberpower I had an brutal experience with a company called Asus, I had gotten a computer from them and after a few weeks it would blue screen and after 6 phone calls I sent the computer back for repairs, lets just say they ended up having the computer longer then I did trying to fix it (never figuring it out) and every time I called I got the "I'll escalate your request" but after doing that for 3 months I decided to go on the hunt for a new computer (scared to death though) and a good friend told me about Cyberpower and I am not disappointed. The computer is the quietest computer I have ever heard; well not heard. I was able to easily set up all my 4 monitor's even one being wireless. I 100% give 5 stars, if I could I would do more. I love the fact I can choose colors from ones that flash and others that don't. I was shocked how easy everything has been, has hook-ups and ports for everything I need. Thank you again Cyberpower for being a great company. I look forward to making them my go to for all my computer needs in the future.
I bought a custom PC from this sweatshop (cyberpowerpc) and received a pc case full of broken components. I haven't even had it a week yet so I reached out to a manager-in-training Willis. After holding on the phone for 2 and a half hours he told me there was nothing he could do. I spent 3 grand on this unusable PC. These crooks will not even honor their own work. They installed pieces upside down and other connections weren't even seated properly. My pc appears to have been assembled by a blind man/woman. I couldn't be more upset with my purchase, do NOT buy from here. This company had integrity years ago, but that is all gone now. Bad business, worse support, unusable 3 thousand dollar pc.
I love this and how I now have my very first pc! Im exited to learn and build my pc and to try to become a master
I can run alot of games and the fps on the games are very good and it has alot of storage and no problems with it all.
Cyberpower has great prices for all of the accessories that come with the pc. They also can help give you moneyback with a good 3 year warranty.
For most of it the pc runs well and loads stuff fast and what's more important is that its vr ready and runs it well.
CyberPower PC has provided the absolute worst customer service I have ever received, hands down. They sold me a system that had a really poor case for heat and my system kept overheating. They charged me to send it back and when it came back to me it still overheated. They were an absolute pain with everything, they did not offer me anything or any solutions and treated me like garbage. At this point I am just trying to sell this pc and get rid of it.
Amazing gaming pc. 3060ti with i7 and 16gb ram. My experiences have been great with this PC as i can live stream on twitch and tik tok at the same time without frames drop while playing fortnite, im a steady 240hz. JUST AMAZING so no problems with dual pc setup and endure that audio problem that comes with it. Thanks cyberpower
Answer: They sell inferior hardware, and can't seem to diagnose issues without breaking the hardware. It's not a scam in the traditional sense. You'll definitely get something, it just won't be worth the money, and dealing with them isn't worth the stress or time.
Answer: Wanted a custom build machine with two video cards. Few companies do that, and most of those are for the uber gamer which I am not.
Answer: Get ahold of them? Not hard, just a long wait. But them being able to assist you appropriately and in a meaningful way? Not really.
