March 2017, received our new patio cushions from Custom Cushions.com, they came in the amount of time they told us and the workmanship was exquisitely done! We truly love our new cushions! Fabric was exactly like the sample. Welting was perfect also. Yes, I would purchase from this company again!
This is an update to my last review, which was written 30 days after I ordered ONE cushion from this vendor.
I finally received the cushion today 37 days after having ordered it. It's very troubling to me how this cushion that cost well over $100.00, could possibly have taken this long to manufacture. It is a very basic piece 32" x 16" x 2". The fabric is a plain cream color no stripes or patterns to match whatsoever. To say the least it is an unimpressive piece. But then after having waited this long I was so irritated, that there wasn't much chance of my liking it. I wouldn't recommend this vendor to anyone!
My friend recommended this site, and boy am I happy I ordered with them. Just got my order and the cushions are so beautiful! The site was really easy to use and I was able to get the exact cushions I wanted. Now my yard furniture looks brand new. I will definitely recommend this company to everyone!
I ordered custom cushions that were never delivered. They claimed FedEx stated they were delivered but I have cameras and no package was delivered. I waited months for them to give me an answer regarding the FedEx investigation thinking they would resolve the issue and resend cushions. After 4 months they have finally just told me they will not be doing anything about the fact I never received my order because FedEx is not taking responsibility. If anything is wrong with your order, do not expect this company to care at all! They will string you along so if I were you I would find another company to order custom cushions from. From the other reviews, it seems I am not the only person that has had this issue.
These cushions are great! Super durable and comfortable. Highly recommend these cushions! The customer service is also great is because they recommended I order samples of the fabric and I am glad I did because I got the perfect colors!
Been purchasing many times over last 10 years from this company. Quality product. Takes a long time for them to make and ship but I guess it's custom.
Ordered six 17 inch round seat cushions in the fall straight forward no problem with fit.
Ordered them in the fall so i would have them in spring opened two of them they looked perfect so I left the rest in the bag foe storage. Just opened all of them and discovered that they are all different thickness, size same but all different thickness of the foam they inserted. I do not know where custom Controll went but someone should have notes the discrepancy, these are "custom made in USA" not made in China. When I call them they sad there was nothing they could do and the foam must have shifted over winter? This is a solid insert not foam pices, spoke with the manager Jenny and she was as very condescending and unknowledgeable about there product.so these cushions difference in thickness from 1/4 " to 2" do not understand that is acceptable.

As stated on the website we ask that the customers to open up the merchandise as soon as it is received. The customer has 5 business days to contact customer service. Also because of the nature of the product they can compress or change shape over time especially if they have been sitting in a box for 7 months. As soon as I started explaining that you received your order 7 months ago you started using profanity at me and I kindly told you that I was hanging up because I don't let anyone talk to me that way. Sorry you didn't read our terms and conditions before you placed your order.

We had two cushions made for lounge chase chairs by our pool. The measurements were spot on! We are going to order 4 more now because we love them so much!
My cushion took a little longer then expected but well worth the wait. The fabric I picked was exactly what I saw on line and the workmanship, beautiful. Would not hesitate ordering from them again.

Culmination of three years of searches.! All other options were either not matching or not the right sizes. So this option was perfect.
I placed my order on 3/7/20 and I still do not have my order!
I received an incorrect order on 4/6/20--ties to my cushions were placed in the wrong location. It took them 2 weeks to get me a fedex return pick-up from home to have them returned for correction. Therefore, they were picked up on 4/21/20 from my home. I was very patient during the quarantine period as they were designated as an essential business and was told there would be a delay they apparently were making face shields. What a joke, in reading the reviews on THEIR website it appears that they continued to fill orders in April and May/ On 6/10 (2 weeks ago) I received 3 of my 4 cushions. So, where oh where is my 4th cushion I asked that numerous times through their customer service email. Oh, THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER DURING THE PANDEMIC ONLY ACCEPT EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS THAT ARE NEVER ANSWERED! Another joke! I was FINALLY told that my 4th cushion would be shipped on Friday, 6/19. Here it is late in the afternoon on the 23rd and still no shipping confirmation and NO RESPONSE FROM THEM. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL... GO ELSEWHERE! I SURE WISH I HAD. A lot of good 3 cushions do me when I have a table and four chairs. SUMMER WILL BE OVER AND I WILL NOT HAVE NEW CUSHIONS! UGH!
I ordered some cushions for a U-shaped bench. I needed the cushions to fill a space 129" wide (Center cushion 85" and 2 side cushions 22" each). Both of the side cushions were approximately 3/4" shorter than ordered and the center cushion was almost 2" shorter. The result is a 3 1/2" gap between the cushions. They never mentioned that there was a 1/2" +/- tolerance during the entire sale process but they informed me it was in the Terms and Conditions and Common Questions. Even still all the cushions were beyond the tolerance. I measured the cushions and sent photos to customer service and they told me it was within the tolerance despite clearly being beyond the tolerance. In addition the center cushion wouldn't lay flat because they fused the foam cushion together in a sloppy manner. They agreed to pick up the center cushion to correct the foam but said they would not replace it with a bigger size unless they agreed it was too short. I recently received back the cushion with a new piece of foam but still almost 2" short. The most disappointing thing is I have used this company before (spent a couple of thousand dollars) and was very happy with the results. Something has changed and they have lost me as a customer for good.

There was apparently a miscommunication between our customer support team and our production facility about the length of your cushion being corrected and unfortunately, the issue wasn't addressed when we performed the rework. Please understand that occasionally these issues can occur when dealing with custom manufactured products and we always try to resolve them to the best of our abilities. As a small company we must follow the policies stated on the website and always recommend our customers review our Terms of Service page before ordering. The WORST customer service I've ever experienced! Please read the fine print as they like to use that as their scape goat every time you call to check the status of your order. They quote 25 business days. My order was placed 40 business days ago and I still have not seen the order. When I call in I get the rudest lady on the phone telling me the 25 days is just an estimate (as per the fine print on their website). I tell her I have an event next weekend and that I feel I've ordered the cushions in sufficient time to get them in for my event and she says "I've got bad news, you aren't getting them by then." I asked since its been well over the quoted amount of time of 25 days, can you please ask production if they could ship out within the next few days. Her reply, "Nope!" ABSOLUTELY the worst service I have ever dealt with. If I could cancel my order I would do so, but she will not let me do that either. I paid over $800 for these cushions specifically for this event and I will not even have them in for it. I received much better service in the past from Cushion Source if you are needing custom cushions.

As of the writing of this review we have not yet received the cushions we ordered (14 days ago) from customcushions.com. However, the "customer service" provided by this company is absolutely terrible. No matter the quality of the product I will never use them again. They have had our order for 2 weeks and I called to get an update, including a concrete shipping date. When the "customer service" representative told me that all she could give me was an estimated date, I explained that we needed these cushions for an event we were hosting at our home in 10 days time and therefore I needed a more definitive date (and I mentioned that I would be willing to drive 50+ miles to go and pick the items up depending upon their completion date). She stated that she could not give me a more definitive date; so I asked to speak to a manger or owner. I was told that SHE was the manager and there was "nothing" she could do to get this information! I then asked her name (Cynthia), told her that I felt that the service I was getting was awful and asked to speak to the owner... this "customer service manager" then hung-up on me. From my experience and in my opinion this is a terrible company to deal with.

Answer: Yes! The cushion is a soft product and will compress a bit, but we like to make sure our customers are informed that the welting does add a bit to the depth and width of the cushion. Please feel free to call or email us with any further questions!
Answer: Hi there, Our welting/piping is about 1/4", but most of our customers don't count that 1/4" into their finished cushions as they feel the cushions will fit nicely against each other quite tightly and the welting will just squish in to create a snug fit. Answer: Hi Ruth, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking about the rounding. A cushion's depth should be measured at the center of the cushion, not on the outside edge where the corner will be cut off on a rounded back cushion. The radius of the curve on each back corner of a rounded back cushion is 10" each. Does that make sense to you? If not then entering 'Measure the radius of a curve' into a search engine may help explain it better and show pictures. Yes, cushions that are folded for shipping usually flatten out within a few days of being removed from the box and laying heavy books on the 'hump' will help expedite the process.
