Had a Logik L300CFW20 chest freezer a few months ago. Bought specifically as it was advertised as for outbuildings, great, I need it for my shed.
Recent heatwave made me wonder if there were any limitations, so decided to check, and lo and behold find in the manual that the operation ambient temperature of a outbuilding chest freezer sold in the UK is 10-43 degrees Celsius. In our shed, in the heatwave it was over that much, which would therefore mean the freezer is working harder, costing more energy!
When a freezer is outside, under 10 degrees it may cause a build-up of ice or reduce the viscosity of the oils used to lubricate moving parts. Any of these may result in compressor failure or malfunction resulting in a costly repair.
Contacted Currys via Twitter support, not interested at all, and basically told to get lost!
I guess they have my money, so don't care. Shame, spent a lot with them over the years, well, NO MORE!
I had to give them one star but would have given them none if I could. I bought a video bell 9 months ago. It has developed a fault and Curry's are refusing to replace it. I have written, rung and spoken to various people but keep going round in circles. They say their policy is to refund, not replace but I pointed out the Sale of Goods Act remedy is repair/replace/refund. I paid £120 for the bell and today it is £179. If I took the £120 I would need to put another £59 toward the replacement. They are dreadful and I am just sorry I bought this bell or anything from them. It is the last time I will. If I had bought the bell from Amazon it would have been exchanged without any hassle.
So phoned currys again today to see if they can give me another TV or my money Back the person who spoke to me was rude, disrespectful told me I wasn't getting a new tv or my money back I told the man on the phone I wouldn't want to purchase anything else from that company so would like a full refund to get a TVs elsewhere and he just laughed at me then hung up so rang them straight back to speak to the manager or line manager they told me it wasn't possible to speak with them so told them I was ringing trading standards. Hopefully when the trading standards get back to me this will get sorted out. To all the people out there please do not purchase anything from this company for a big company its horrible how customers get spoken to and also sell faulty items.
What a shambles… ordered a washing machine given a delivery date and time 7am till 9:30 scheduled…. You also have a tracking number… 2nd drop of the day or so it stated… took the morning off and watched the tracking like ca lost Christopher Columbus… all over the place even within 2 minutes from my home after 27 drops still no washing machine., driver completed his run but no drop off called to cancel the order and couldn't because it was out for delivery.
Will try and get my money back tomorrow again … Avoid. Much better service elsewhere
I bought a logic 43 TV and when I opened it the screen looked like it had been kicked around a football pitch. My grandsons bedroom was being decorated at the time so the box wasn't opened until after the 30 day return. I trusted Currys to send what I ordered and when I got in touch was told not there problem. Absolutely disgusting customer values. Please please steer clear of them.
Be careful and don't buy nothing from Crewe branch they steal people money.we buy something from the store and just take the tape off from the box and just change mind the item is brand new unused and still in original box. They refuse give us a money back because "we open it" how ridiculous it is. We speak four times with customer service on web chat and they clearly say we have absolutely right and we have 14 days to take it back to the store and have a full refund but in the Crewe branch store manager refused return and she say people on the chat just lie for people and she be disgusting rude etc. She just laughs on us face! Is nice to be like that to customer? I don't think so. I think she just forget she not always is at this store. I got a screenshot from web chat. But they just steal my money nothing else we not leave this like that anyway. Just Don't buy from this store if u don't want loose youre money.

I have a severely disabled son who's only pleasure in life is watching TV. We purchased a 75" TV from curry's for him and he was overjoyed. He cannot do anything so his life is TV. The TV developed an intermittent fault so I emailed Curry's within 30 days and had no response. The fault left and came back so I emailed the Chief Exec hoping at least for a reply. This time the extent of the response was "turn it off and on, see if that helps" It did for a little while and again it returned. Curry's now say they will take the TV away for around 3 weeks as it will be longer due to being intermittent and they have to replicate the fault. My son is distraught, crying and wailing. Curries have refused to replace it even though it was reported within the first 30 days and they wont provide a back up TV for my son to watch, we are a low income family so cant afford another TV, I had to take a loan to get this one! NEVER, EVER BUY FROM THESE AWFUL PEOPLE, CEO SHOULD BE DISGRACED!
Sat and waited for my delivery for what to eventually find out after I called them to be told it is not coming and to top it off I can not get a refund back on to my bank card unless I go into the store disgusting coustomer service will never shop here again
Purchased Kitchenaid toaster from Curry's. Great toaster but it simply stopped working.
Returned to local Curry's where I was informed they would not replace same (even though it was well within warranty) policy being to return to manufacturer for repairs first.
Kitchen aid is manufactured in China so goodness knows how long this will take!

The 2 delivery men who first came made the delivery and collection difficult as they said that they didn't deliver to 1st floor, I contacted Curry's who sent Russ and Paul who did all that they could to deliver my appliance to the 1st floor and installed it, I can't say enough how much they helped, they should train delivery people and installers how they should be doing their job. Curry's you don't know ow how lucky you are to have asset like Russ and Paul working for you. God bless you Russ and Paul, if I could nominate Employees of the month they would be my nomination
I have bought a washer-dryer at 21/01/2022 including the installation. The engineer came ans install it. He struggled with cold water feed but finally fixed that. I did some wash this day and was happy with it. Next time when I was trying to use the Washing machine it did not take water again and I spotted some leak underneath. I rang curries and arranged the engineer again for me. They work only till 17:00 Mon-Fri and each time I have to take a day off from my holidays.
The engineer came and say he cant pull the washing machine out and he is claiming a new machine for me. I told him that one is probably ok only the pipes mush be bent behind. He said it does not matter someone will call you today at 18:00 when you get home and arrange a new machine delivery at the weekend or late evening for me.
Nobody rang me by Tuesday (the visit was on Friday 25/02/2022). So I rang curries again. I was forwarded to 8 or 9 different people explaining every single one why I am ringing. It took me almost an hour go tet through a person who organised the visit again for another Friday.
Today is this Friday and I took 3rd day off to be able to be at home. The visit was scheduled between 10:40 and 14:40.
Nobody arrived and nobody contacted me. At 14:40 I received a text that they are very sorry they did not managed to arrive in the scheduled time and postpone it by Monday 7 March.
To sum it up. This is 6 weeks I am asking them to get it fixed. I cant wash my clothes for 6 weeks!
I rang carries to complain and they started forwarding me again to several people. It is just not worth it.
I am giving up I have already paid more than 100% for this washing machine if I include my 4 days off.
AVOID, they are amateurish and extremely useless.

An absolute zero, brought a fridge water leaked into the bottom, they told me I had to pay to to have that assessed, and now that I have written to their legal department they now claim they offered to repair the fridge and I refused! Plus they will not respond to me unless I contact them through a lawyer. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, ABUSIVE, RUDE SCUM. I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER SPEND A PENNY IN THEIR STORES EVER AGAIN, AND WOULD RATHER SET FIRE TO MY MONEY than put it in their pockets. Zero customer service, absolute contempt for their customers, you have been warned. SCAMMERS WITH A BUSINESS FRONT.
Bought a dell laptop from curry's Christchurch branch on 18th November, after 6 weeks the hinge was jammed shut and when opened it broke the case and damaged the bezel. The store said it had to go back for repair. After getting a phone call from their repair centre was told it was fault of Dells and they had seen 6 others already. Informed me they had changed the case but there was a small mark on the bezel, if we wanted a new bezel it would be another 10 days. Asked them to return the repaired laptop to the branch as happy to just have a small mark. Had a phone call to pick up the laptop after 25 days with the repair team. Horrified on picking it up to find it hadn't been touched. When I got upset at their attitude they threatened to call the police. At 78 years old a dreadful experience. Luckily have all my paperwork to back up my claims. Now going to have to fight them to either get my money back or a replacement. Never ever going to use again.

Just dont buy from them... not worth the stress... try their automated telephone service... its a joke and so are the untrained call center staff... 4 hours to find one that knew what to do... then passed onto someone else that didnt... so back round again... for my sanity. Its not worth it.
In short, don't touch them with a bargepole. We ordered a washing machine for delivery today. They took the money fine but then the problems started.
We had paid extra for machine removal and installation, together with a £20.00 payment for time slot delivery of 11am-2pm. Imagine my surprise she I was rudely awakened by a rap on the door at 08.30. Not silly early I know but as We are still on our Christmas/New Year break, We like a lie in!
Once we were told that if we did not take delivery there and then, we would not get the machine today, I hastily put a tracksuit over my boxers and tied to sort myself out, not helped by the obnoxious little man and his crew who could not have been less helpful if they tried. They would never get a job in Santas Workshop! (ho.ho.ho!)
Finally the machine was installed, together with a large gouge across our kitchen floor. Captain Grumpy took a photo and said customer services would sort it out. He and the rest of his dwarves then wandered away singing happily at the top of their voices. HiHo!
When I finally got to speak to a Customer Services team (3rd go, cut off twice) they flatly refused to refund the £20.00 time slot fee as the item was delivered on the correct day and we were available to receive it. At this point I had not even got round to mentioning the floor but the barking in the background at her end of the phone told me her dog was hungry so I can hardly complain that she then cut me off as well!
Im hoping a supervisor will call me back at some point but fear I may have to begin the whole process again tomorrow

5 weeks to get a refund on a faulty item that I returned and I only got the refund in the end because I opened a claim with PayPal and submitted evidence. There was no help from Currys live web chat who told lies and fobbed me off. Customer service email bounces back and phone like has more options than you can imagine I ended up hanging up from confusion. Finally, 5 weeks and I got my £200 back for a TV I never received. Thank you PayPal and F*** you Currys!
I originally bought this item on 10th December on ebay, i purchased it on the wrong payment option(my company credit card) and that i fully admit was my fault. I realized my mistake and emailed to explain and also requested a cancellation within the hour on the 10th.if this had been actioned i would have just repurchased using the correct payment card and all would have been well. The cancellation was rejected on the 13/14th and the reason given was "it was already dispatched and to refuse delivery" well we both know that's not true so i was lied to by a member of Currys team on ebay
On the 20th it still hadn't arrived so i contacted ebay who looked and as no tracking was provided agreed it had been too long, they must have contacted yourselves for the details and today i find that Currys have only just dispatched it on the 20th a full 10 days after i asked to cancel the order and 7 days after i was told it had been dispatched and couldn't be cancelled!
I have all relevant messages on my ebay account and can provide to confirm dates and facts

Answer: They have an automatic sorting process in place that takes several minutes to get through, you then get put on hold. Sometimes kicking you out before call is answered and you have to go through selection again. No direct numbers advertised to get you straight to right department, but they do exist. Ask for them once through to an adviser. It will save you lots of time when you need to chase them again. Music on 'hold' is distorted to annoy and frustrate you - close to mental torture! Advisors are following 'scripts' and are not 'able'/allowed to think for themselves. Be prepared to be put on hold and then kicked off the line. They told me they would order a replacement item 3x it never came. So were blatantly lying to me/stalling meanwhile processing refund. Once refunded they are 'unable' to help you with anything. Or is it unwilling? The whole process seems to be set up to deter you from continuing with your complaint. An issue that should have taken max 10 minutes to sort took 5-6hrs and it was sorted to their satisfaction not mine.
