Crackle

WHAT are you doing Crackle? Watched ONE movie and will never be back. The INSANE amount of commercials and length of your commercials are not worth watching movies on your app. You should stop a movie THREE TIMES and only 3 times to show up to 1 min of ads each. We've watched ONE MOVIE. We're only 1/2 way and you've stopped the movie every 10 minutes for 2 minutes of ads each and they BUFFER and last even longer than 2 minutes! PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR REVIEWS. I'm making a point of NOT giving any of your advertisers my money. I've made note of the companies advertising during this movie.

THIS IS A MOVIE site that needs to upgrade everything about it they do not have the best of great movies, the reviews of a movie are not there you are interrupted every 15 minutes with a boring commercial movie sites need to concentrate on the best films even if there is a subsciption attached we would rather pay for quality at a low monthly price then get it for free and have to sit through boring commercials, boring ads this site needs an immediate upgrade.

This app stinks. If you enjoy constant freezing, repeat ads over and over every 5min this is for you. Might as well watch CNN Discovery or Nat Geo. Business model is the same. Terrible!

Crackle rewrote their interface to force full volume autostart/autoplay of random junk show whenever you start the app. You can't stop the autoplay! I started the app with my 5 yr old daughter nearby and it started autoplayed with a violent movie FULL of cusswords, no warning, and I couldn't stop it until I forced a Roku reboot. Way to go, Sony! Please uninstall this worthless, crap app and send Sony Pictures (who owns Crackle) the message they deserve.

I can handle the commercials but do they have to SCREAM AT ME? Also why is it when you start watching a movie and then later go back to watching it, if you forward to tht point in the movie you not only get the regular 4 commercials, but after 10 seconds of movie, you get another 4 commercials SCREAMING AT YOU! TubiTV is definitely the best. They have an occasional commercial and their commercials are quieter than the movie. Actually the lower volume catches my attention and I find myself watching the commercial because I'm trying to hear what they are saying. Think about it Crackle, screaming commercials annoy people and drive viewers away from watching your app.

Note: using this app on an Apple TV. The most confusing, non user friendly app I've ever used. Who created this thing— someone with no eyes and who has never used modern technology other than a type writer? No search, no way to scroll through episodes, nothing logical at all.

In order to watch episodes of Sherlock I had to:
1. Find it just by scrolling through stuff and randomly seeing it by luck. There's no way to type into a search bar and find anything.
2. I found it, watched episode one… and then couldn't find episode two. Realized I had to click "add," go back to the useless Home Screen, scroll up to "my crackle," and go to history to then find episode two. I clicked on it.
3. But don't LEAVE episode two in order to show your husband the process to find it, no. Don't do that. Because when you go through steps 1-2 again as a demonstration and come back, episode two will be gone and only 1 and now 3 will be sitting in your history.
4. Go to episode one, fast forward through the ENTIRE THING to reach the end.
5. You're now entering episode two. Don't breathe! Quick! Start it before it scurries away.

Get a programmer with a brain who uses modern streaming networks, Crackle. Or heck, take inspiration from basic consumer websites that sell clothing or something, if wanting to take tips from your competitors is a bit too intimidating. My gosh. Useless.

Crackle is frustrating and plays commercials while show is also playing AND it stops and forces exits for no reason. Not Worth the hassle.
