So, I was going to my favorite restaurant (Cracker Barrel) after church with my grandchildren in Oklahoma, Connecticut, when my youngest grandchild (Kayleigh) wanted to use the bathroom. As there were no public restrooms in this particular establishment, I opened the employee restroom to find two employees having sexual intercourse. They immediately paused upon seeing me and my young grandchild, and I was able to see the man's name tag. The man having intercourse was named Brayden and he had glasses and long wavy hair. I asked for the manager but received no response.
First of all I have loved Cracker Barrel. But, the last time I was there I was cheated. I always get the two catfish filets. This time they took one filet and cut it in half lengthwise and called it two fillets.
The food wasn't cooked the way I wanted it. The steak I had to send back 3 times. The biscuits were so hard it was unreal. Ask for new biscuits that was hard too so I had to settle for light bread. I'm giving you a one star cuz I had to eat my steak by itself. I want to sit down and eat a perfect meal but with cracker barrel I don't think it's going to happen I feel like I got ripped off
My daughter and i ate at Cracker Barrell in zanesville oiho 9/5/23 for my birthday and we both had sirloin steak, our steaks were tender and juicy but had absolutely no flavor what so ever, they were both so blank with no seasoing on them
My husband and I with 3 grandchildren, visited the Middletown/Franklin Ohio location on 12/18/2021 at apx. 9:45, it didn't take long to get a table. It took quite a while to have our order taken, that's fine but when we finally got our food, it was cold, half the pancakes were burnt, the bacon was undercooked. Someone else other than our waitress brought out the food and I told her what we were missing, she never brought it but when the waitress finally came back I told her that the kids hadn't gotten their drinks and we were missing a few other things, overall the food was bad.
I understand staffing shortages these days but please do not bring out food that looks burnt and do not leave the food in the kitchen window and then bring out cold food. This food is not cheap.
I will not be visiting this location again for awhile.
I just got the worst Food I've ever eaten from Cracker Barrel in the 80s were old and tasted like they were almost bad. The bread was sour the steak was soaking tub. Good night Link got it as peppered so bad you couldn't is it I knows the hashbrowns casserole had bad, sour cream, or something in it.
Previously I had written a highly critical review of another Cracker Barrel that I will never go to again. I recently went to the Cracker Barrel at 2151 54th Ave N, St Petersburg, FL *******. It was an amazing experience. The food was cooked to perfections, the waitress was friendly and pleasant and the restaurant was clean. I enjoyed that experience so much that I will return to this Cracker Barrel.
Good food, large selection, pleasing to both children and adults. Shop for toys, clothing, jewelry, home accessories, etc. Every item in there would be a perfect gift for someone you know.

At the Austintown restaurant our order was terrible. I ordered mama's breakfast. The bacon I got looks like they had clean the stove with it. It was all broken up little pieces no bacon strips pieces that tasted burnt and were hard. My wife had the French toast. The toast was so hard it wouldn't even absorb the maple syrup. The service was terrible. We always order a side of sourdough toast to have with our eggs. The waitress brought the toast in a basket way before the rest of our meal so therefore we ended up with cold toast the men's room was filthy dirty you couldn't even sit on the toilet. We have no intentions of ever going back to this place. Never saw a manager once might be a good idea. If the manager was out looking at these things.
Waitress got order wrong then proceeded to tell me she ordered it right but she could bring the other if I wanted. I carried leftovers out in a napkin because she never came back.
I remember time where Cracker Barrel name stood for something apparently that is not true anymore we ordered a large family dinner only half of it showed up they refused to make it right so what am I supposed to do only feed half our family never again shame on you Cracker Barrel
Ordered desserts for christmas eve day pivkup 3 days in advance. Went to pick up my order and they said they didn't have any for me to pick up. I asked for a replacement because I had to feed 23 people and they couldn't have cared less. The order was psid for and a ready order for pickup was emailed to me. This ignorant managet Omar from the downingtown pa. Cracker barrel would not even try to make up for his mistake. Even his staff couldn't believe how rude and unprofessional he is. Would like some one from C. B. to contact me. I guess this is what I should bring to a Christmas? 3 pieces of a slice of cake cut in half.
Very disappointing visits recently… food very poor quality. Service poor why bother asking if everything is ok if you do nothing about it… management need to get on this asap……
My husband and I went to Cracker Barrel in Hurcelaneum MO. The food was not good. Very disappointed. The chopped steak was very dry and tough. The bacon maple chicken was so tough I couldn't cut it with my knife. The only good items we ate was the slaw and steamed broccoli. We have gone to Cracker Barrel for years. I hope this review helps to improve the quality of the food. The green beans looked like they had been cooked for many days. Sorry to write this review but I want Cracker Barrel to improve.
Crackerbarrel doesn't do anything for employees I worked there 30 years I know if u get good with the manger u are good u don't have too work hard someone else is doing your job
3rd time ordering from Cleghorn Blvd Madison Al. Last time ordering from Cleghorn Blvd, Madison Al. Missing items every time. Order Pancakes get no syrup. Buscuit and gravy no buscuits. Breakfast plate order bacon no bacon in order. The list goes on an on
I was having a bad day at work and asked my boyfriend to go out to eat to cheer me up after he picked me up, eventually we chose cracker barrel. We were both excited after not being there in years but in the end we were very disappointed. The service was decent at best but we were still positive, I normally get a breakfast item but today I got the grilled maple bacon chicken, and my boyfriend ordered the chicken in dumplins. This is when we were utterly disappointed, we both tried to be optimistic and still enjoy our food but neither of us were able to eat even half our food. The chicken in dumplins looked and tasted, to be completely honest, like dog food. My dish was decent if im being generous. My boyfriend convinced me to call over the manager to explain our dissatisfaction, we didn't want to make a scene we just wanted to get refunded and go somewhere else. The manager told use the food was exactly as it was intended to be and basically told us there's nothing he can do if we didn't like the food, the chicken N' dumplins beings the worst of it. He did take the chicken N' dumplins off the bill and I didn't want to argue any further because I didn't want to make a scene. Leaving I was fighting back tears instead of going somewhere else we just went home due to feeling physically sick. On arriving home I finally was overwhelmed by disappointment and a opportunity for a good date gone wrong that I fell apart. I'm extremely disappointed.
Had to wait 30 minutes on a table got to table worst I have ever seen a Cracker Barrel their was food all over the floor tables setting with dishes made mistake and looked back in the kitchen
We as a family has always went here and ate because I thought it was a family oriented place to eat. But due to what up hold with this "Pride" mess, I doubt we will be going back.
Answer: Because you trying to be "chic" or shift your consumer base to a younger clientele. Cracker Barrel now appeals to an older customer base. To be successful in decades to come, CB needs younger customers who may not be OK with gravy and biscuits. That's why you will see vegetable sausage, kale salads, etc. at Cracker Barrel. The strategy might work if you had 50 years to make the transition. But your present here-and-now customer (older folks) probably won't hang in with it after you remove their favorites (country ham, fried chicken, apple pie, "and all the butter, Jam and biscuits you care to eat."
Answer: Golden corral, Grandpa's, IHOP. They're at least the customers are paid partial attention& needs meet without a production.
Answer: Have eaten there many times before and in the past have really enjoyed the food.
