Waited for over hour for breakfast and finally walked out of London ky Cracker Barrel. Absolute terrible service. Best you close this one because I've eaten at Cracker Barrel for 40 years but I'm switching completely!
I don't like to leave bad reviews and I understand if you get busy or if you are out of a product. I have been to this location 5 times in a week. Wasting my time and gas I guess. My name was suppose to be on a list for a product. Not that this matters but I just had heart surgery and took my time to go here not feeling well to do business with this store. I left my name and number not once but 4 times. Again, I get if you are out of the product and I get if you are busy but it's poor customer service to not return a call after all these visits and being told you will called in the morning. I'm not mad they don't have what I need or actually I don't know if they do or not, no one will call me back. I've worked in the industry my entire life and this is a business killer. You need real leadership and commitment to your guest. If you don't intend to ever call then say so, I'm good with that too. But to say something and never do it is not ok. Beware of the League City, TX location
I will no longer be dining at Cracker Barrel, saying that they all have to display homosexual paraphernalia such as rainbow rocking chairs. We all know everybody was welcome but you didn't have to display it. Most of America you just pretty much flipped us the bird…. Don't want your food don't want your establishment anymore. Go woke go broke.
We love Crackerbarrel restaurant's food and the fire place is great, but lately we can't get a waitress to take our order. We get seated (sometimes even that takes a while) but then we wait a good 10 minutes or more to be acknowledged and offered a coffee. Do they need more waitresses, or is a decent crowd too much for them?
Hostess was very pleasant. Server, Keyona, was excellent: she was efficient, helpful, and professional.
Cashier was also very nice. We had breakfast and it was perfect. Pancakes, spicy chicken sausage, scrambled eggs, and grits were all done as requested. So a shout out to the cook also:-) Try this Cracker Barrel. You will be pleased.
Went with friend. I am a person of color my friend was not. Cashier ask my friend to sign up for a point system. She checked out before me. When I checked out Cashier asked my friend if she wanted my points. My friend said no, why can't she sign up and get her own. The cashier hesitated, then signed me up for points. Very disappointed in the cashier. She had a very long dark braid. I thought she was attractive until the incident. Beauty is only skin deep.
Cracker Barrel Corporate should really look into how this location is ran. Terrible service restaurant may look empty but always long wait. I will continue to eat at cracker barrel but will avoid the Ooltewah Tennessee store.
Dothan Cracker Barrel 09/08 at 11:00 am: overall the food was decent and warm. The table side service was well... rude. Further, we are not likely to return soon simply because we are tired of "the fixings" that are always the same and are always left untouched. The biscuits are bone dry, we are not gravy nor jelly people. What a WASTE OF FOOD! Would much prefer to choose "sides" versus HAVING to take their "fixings". (This counts for Cracker Barrel in general)
The last two times we have been to the Cracker Barrel in Plainfield Indiana the food has not been good. The first one was no cream cheese in my husbands crepes and we waited on silverware awhile after we got our food. This time our fish and fried chicken were way over cooked and Mac and cheese had been watered down with milk. All the staff were VERY nice and sweet, but the food has just gone downhill. We are hoping if we try another location it will be better. But we'll give it one more try
It took over an hour for our food to be delivered and then one of the orders was not included. First my granddaughter was told they were out of what she ordered and then she ordered something different, when the rest of our orders were ready she was told they didn't have the new order and she needed to order something else. Meanwhile they continued to hold our food under a light and it came out dry and cold. We never received any updates on the status of our orders. We requested a manager and was told our orders were being remade, it was not fresh. To compensate they did clear the bill, considering the food was cold and dry that was the least they could do.
We stopped at Cracker Barrel yesterday in Auburn for breakfast. Our server Logan was excellent. It took over 45 minutes for eggs and french toast. Seriously they were not busy and our server kept apologizing for the long wait. People around us were just as irritated as we were. If they had been busy i could understand but it was pretty much empty. We will go to Joannas next time. Logan i am sorry you were great but lets get real Will not recommend at all
The last couple of times we have eaten at the restaurant in Crossville, TN, the place is a dirty mess and seems to lack good management. The floors are filthy with silverware, etc. on the floor and tables left all around us with dirty dishes. The menu has become quite small and the food isn't very good at all. They need an overall asap and new managers that actually are there onsite.
I got a vegetable plate and water. I'm sad to say that the best part of the meal was the water. The broccoli was half cooked, the turnip greens tasted like a wad of grass, the okra was over cooked and hard and the broccoli casserole had no taste. I'm embarrassed to say that I paid $13 for that mess.
This is the first and last time I will go to Cracker Barrel. The turkey was ok, but not a great taste like most home cooked turkey I have had. It was not dry, but also not moist and tender. The gravy for the Turkey was a but tasteless. Stuffing was dry and a bit tasteless. Even putting gravy on it did not help it. Stuffing from a box taste better. Also, they were out of both yams and mashed potatoes. Green beans were ok, but not great either. Walmart Great Value biscuits are better than the basket of biscuits they served us. The cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, and my coca cola were good, and that ain't saying much for Cracker Barrel. Avoid this place!
After waiting 45 min I ask the hostess about our table because others that were coming in got seated right away. We arrived a 2:00 to miss the lunch crowd. When I ask the hostess about our table he said oh I'm sorry I forgot to msg you. It as well took 35 min to get our food and the waitress was not around to ask for a refill or for a water. This is the 2nd time our CB has dropped the ball. Sad because CB has always been a family tradition for us.
We can't wait to go back. And it was worth it... about 25 mins out of Cologne! Almost everything was near perfect. Food was spectacular. Wine pairing even better, and incuded on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Service was excellent. You should definitely try this place.
I ordered 2 Thanksgiving Meals to go from the Mesquite Store. The sweet potatoes were thinner than gravy with no flavor. The 2 very small slices of turkey were so dry and hard. The dressing exactly 3 tablespoons had 0 flavor and so dry. I got a side of dumplings that only had 1 and 1/2 dumpling in there and the green beans tasted straight out of the can still cold. I would be embarrased to charge anyone 29.97 for what I got. Hospital food would have been much better. I added a picture of their 2 slices of turkey.
Ive always enjoyed eating at cracker barrel, I cant remember how many years we have eaten there. I am dissapointed with the rainbow rocker on your front porch. Its your business & you can support this group if you want but I dont have to support you with my money & will not be back as long as you do.
I ordered the chicken and dumplings, which was listed as the favorite chose. They were okay, not horrible but definitely not really good. But the sides were terrible, lumpy potatoes with greasy gravy, fried okra, nasty taste. And I got the 3rd vegetable, fried apples, not terrible but again not good. Biscuits were pale, under cooked lumps. The only thing good was the cheesecake. On top of the flavor was not packaged to be kept warm. Overall I have had several things delivered some good and some not so good but this is the first thing that made me sick. Do not order from this place
Dressing used to come in a large pan, already mixed. Now, it comes in 2 small rectangular pans, and have to mix it yourself. Paying 27 bucks for this small portion. Pathetic and not worth it. I will never order this from themagain. They gotta do better.
Answer: Because you trying to be "chic" or shift your consumer base to a younger clientele. Cracker Barrel now appeals to an older customer base. To be successful in decades to come, CB needs younger customers who may not be OK with gravy and biscuits. That's why you will see vegetable sausage, kale salads, etc. at Cracker Barrel. The strategy might work if you had 50 years to make the transition. But your present here-and-now customer (older folks) probably won't hang in with it after you remove their favorites (country ham, fried chicken, apple pie, "and all the butter, Jam and biscuits you care to eat."
Answer: Golden corral, Grandpa's, IHOP. They're at least the customers are paid partial attention& needs meet without a production.
Answer: Have eaten there many times before and in the past have really enjoyed the food.
