I was robbed Literally by these crooks in the name of Course Hero staffs. May you be Course for ever! I made money in the account and they stole the account with money inside. What a shame!

This website has been scamming students of their money with no option to cancel subscriptions. I know this because I used to be one of the students. Over the course of time, I became a tutor at their platform and they have stolen from me more than $1700. They close the account when the money matures and give you no explanation whatsoever. I have also seen reviews from different writers who claim the same. However, upon thorough research, I have found out that they open accounts in specific countries where the English language is neither official nor national just to sell them to writers in bulk and take the money afterward. And since they won't stop doing this, here is my vow; I will purchase the accounts and give the students hell. If they think they have seen it all in accordance with terrible writing then they have something else coming... Adios

I got course hero thinking i would only pay 9 dollars per month. They have taken 119 dollars and i had to call my bank to get my finances sorted out. At first i thought it would be worth it but then the tutors didn't get back to me until after ONE DAY from the deadline of my homework was due. What a waste of time. 111 tutors reviewed the question and only one ended up answering a day later, course hero is not it guys, don't waste your time, energy and effort on this scam.

It's an okay website, but it depends on what predicament you're currently.

1. If you're already a failing student and you just want grades high enough to pass your classes then CH is a good choice for you.

2. If you have a full semester left and have a lot of time left then CH is also good for you.

However, this website isn't good for you if.

1. You're an A-B student who is looking forward to passing your classes with high grades.
2. You're close to your deadline and you need to hurry up and finish.

If you relate to 1 or 2 then I recommend Brainly, Bartleby, Studypool, and Chegg instead because you'll be getting a C average with most of the documents posted on Course Hero. Most students just upload their rough drafts to get more unlocks, so the content isn't high quality or enough to ace the assignment (especially essays or research papers).

I have been associated with course tutors for long with 95% rating but recently they disabled my account and robbed me of my earnings. Even though i did not work in course hero from mid July to late August due to vacations in colleges they closed my account siting honor code violation. Really stop making people fool even without attempting question how could be there violation. Pathetic and I see they have been doing this with lot of people

I want to put a 1 star, but that wouldn't be fair. I give the company 2 stars because I shouldn't have a limited amount of unlock when that's what I pay for.

My tutor account had a rating of 100% and pending earnings, but they have since disabled it anyway without any apparent reason. Let them lot in hell.

I worked for over 3 months and they failed to release my hard earned money. The customer care team is rubbish. All they can do best is to ban accounts randomly. Stupid human beings.

I paid for the basic plan at course hero because I wanted to study for my course using the study guides. First off, the guides have mistakes in them so you can't even trust the answers. Remember, these are other students who are posting these answers (they are in the same place as you), they just want free unlocks. Second, some of the answers were missing. "thats not a big deal". Well it is when you only have 30 unlocks for the ENTIRE month. That means each unlock is a $1 and you dont know what is in these documents because it is blurred out. So you spend a $1 just to find that 99% of the questions on the sheet do not have an answer to them. And even if there is an answer, there is no explanation for the answer. As someone who has been homeschooled, done online college, and is now doing another online degree, use Chegg or Brainly. They are 100% better that Course Hero.

I didn't know that the membership only allowed 30 unlocks, so once I used them on empty documents, I contacted Course Hero asking why it had a limit. They were very rude about it and basically said "yeah, we're not giving you a refund because you used all your unlocks.". ON EMPTY DOCUMENTS WITH NO ANSWERS OR EXPLANATIONS!

Unless you can hack their website and get the docs for free, don't waste your money on this stupid website.

This site is a scam, they take your card details. Don't do it! Within 3 days of paying $6,99 for access to a document, which was rubbish by the way, my credit card was used illegally for thousands of dollars.

This site has saved my sanity as I'm sure it has for many others. So many pointless discussions were avoided. However, here comes the problems:
1) lazy tutors. If you don't give them everything uploaded in a picture a lot of times they will claim there's missing info. That's kind of hard to do when you're giving them 200-page books as the source. I'd rather you move on if you're not familiar with the content.
2)incorrect answers. There have been several times that I've posed a question and gotten an answer that is obviously wrong. Like so wrong that it must be intentional. I'm not sure if they're doing this for fun or if it's some Dudly Doright trying to expose people for using the site.
3) pricing. For what you get, it's way overpriced. There are literally tens of other pages that do the same thing and better. Chegg for example.
4) from what I've read, they don't pay the tutors as they should.

Sometimes, they give wrong answers, so be careful. They do not care. They care only to collet money from touters and students.
Their attitude very rude, never solve any problem. Terrible, I would give a zero if I could.

This company are complete scammers, I worked with them for a month and made almost 300 $, and baaam they banned my account without warning and without even a valid reason! I had 100% helpful rate and always helped students and explained for them their lessons in the best way possible!
I filed a complaint against them and I hope they will take them down once and for all so they are unable to scam anymore tutors.

Please do not apply to be a tutor with them, you will not only loose your money, but your energy and time! And do not hesitate to report them to the FTC, CFPD and California State's Attorney's office, they have to be exposed internationally and they need to face the consequences of their fraud work!

They stole my work. I demanded they take it down years ago and had to go to my school security and tech departments to find out how Course Hero even got my work, but no one ever found out and it was never taken down. I have now submitted legal demands and hope it gets taken down now. Regardless, what they do is criminal.

My theory is that they get a students work by paying someone inside of schools or possibly paying sites like Blackboard or so for access. Then, they post it to their own site saying that the student themself posted it. Then they sell that information to other students! For example, one of my final exams was posted to the website! I NEVER would put that on there. I suggest that you search your name and see if your work is on their site.

They delete your tutor account on baseless claims. They have thieves within their support team. You sweat and they rip off everything

Forces you to subscrive for $10 a month, as if paying for school is not enough. Really greedy people, avoid using this site at all cost, as there are better FREE help available.

Please stay away form coursehero as a tutor because they let you work and when it's time to withdraw the earnings they disable the tutor account without a valid reason and take the tutor earnings.

They disable your tutor account for no reason, after doing your tasks successfully, then on the due date for making your earnings withdrawal... Boom, they close your account. I wouldn't recommend to anyone
