They p r e y on the elderly! My dad went in store just to check things out & because he received a "pre-approved" bs letter in the mail. The staff is extremely rude, they ended up "up selling" so many things to him. He ended up getting thousands worth of things through his credit, just for the things to be delivered damaged & wrong. They sent the wrong sizes for certain things & took weeks to replace & an item was delivered damaged which they never replaced after saying they would. If you don't look like you have money they won't bother to take care of you. They gave us a $200 gift card as a deal or whatever just for it to actually be store credit that you can't even use for the payments. Plus the interest rates are insane! CONNS ARE S C A M M E R S!
Have had an issue with them over several payments that placed on the wrong account. A year later still going back and forth with them will contact a small courts claim lawyer. Stay away from them the reviews don't lie.
I financed a refrigerator with AFF thru Conn's. The delivery was day was missed. I did not receive a call regarding the appliance not being my delivered on the date promised. I had arranged donation of my existing fridge which was not working. I lost hundreds of dollars of food. My contract has not been cancelled, my deposit will take 2 weeks after store initiates cancellation, but when will that be. Be aware that these contracts will have added warranties and insurance which are very pricey and you will pay interest on, homeowners insurance will cover theft etc. I am completely disappointed with my experience and lack of follow up. I was going to finance the $1599 fridge and purchase the $1100 matching range, but decided this whole experience and 3 times to store, countless phone calls on my break and lunch was not what I need! Buyers financing or expecting timely delivery beware!
The company name should tell you enough. They are crooks that will harass you nonstop to pay a bill days before it's even due. The furniture they sell is absolute garbage and will fall apart In a matter of months, if they don't already damage it while delivering it. Don't EVER buy from this company, it is absolutely not worth it.
***BEWARE*** Conn's will "con" you. We purchased a sectional and a fridge from Conn's in Antioch based on a promotion they were running. The sales person told us if we purchased over $2999 in products we would get $300 cash back. This is why we went ahead with the fridge purchase. Then when we submitted our information the promotions department online, they denied it saying it had to be in furniture only. This was never told to us and we went over everything multiple times with both the sales person & manager. I have tried to resolve the situation and they just refuse. Store manager even said "even if the sales person told you that, it doesn't matter". If you want to be duped and swindled out of money, shop here.
I would never ever buy anything ever again from Conns. They don't care that the products you purchased you are having problems with and keep giving you the run around and when you buy a warranty there is always a well that's not covered and sorry but your stuck. They don't have a customer satisfaction Guarantee and that is really sad. I have been dealing with them a month after I got my furniture which was in May 2021 and it's almost been a year and still no satisfaction. But they want there payment. I would go with out furniture if they were the last place on earth to buy from!'n
The "Cash Installment " option that is not an cash equivalent. That means that if that option is taken then you would pay no more than your purchase value if you just paid the full price on the year promotion, paying more than what they required per month. They never told me my payoff balance but they have the "origination fee" and is not in the contract, even though If I pay at the year I would avoid interest charged to my account, even if you pay more every month, the last payment on your year cash option never goes applied and they even disconnected the website that takes the payment, that way they claimed that you did not meet the time frame. I am convinced that they knew exactly what they were doing. They've lost a customer and I'll be sure and let others know to avoid Conn's. Scammers!

Went to cons to look at a new washer and dryer and no one came to ask us if we needed help. My husband, baby and I stood there for 15 minutes. During that time, I counted 5 employees walk by and not acknowledge us.
They sent the same company out to fix my washing machine which cannot be fixed they told me they need 3 opinions on my washing machine but still not have fixed it not gave me another one they're just giving me the run around so don't buy anything else from them because they aint worthy they have you to buy this expensive insurance which they insurance do not cover anything I only had this washing machine and dryer for a year
Stay as far away from this place as you can! Once you walk out of there, they will NOT let you return anything even if it is broken. I have been fighting with them over a broken $700 window unit for two months. They even lied when I filed a BBB complaint and said I bought a floor unit and floor units can't be returned. What it says on my receipt is floor models can't be returned (a generic message put on all receipts because it says something about 19 screen TVs also) I have the box to prove I didn't purchase a floor model. I attached photos and even one far off so people can see this box is sitting in my garage. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN immediately! How crooks like them are allowed to operate baffles me.
During delivery by 2 obviously untrained people, my hardwood floors, wood banister, walls, and other wood works were damaged. As directed submitted claim information more than a month ago. Claims company UST and/or 98 ventures don't answer phones or emails. Contacting Texas department of insurance. Conn is absolutely the correct name for this company.
Conn's products are all refurbished. They will work for a while then will start giving you problems. I owed them $255.00 to pay in full but they attached $700or more because the 12 months interest free had expired which was untrue. Ripping their customers off. Never again.
I have Never in my life experienced anything like Conns. Their name fits them perfectly, they are Conns and they add fees onto your account for no reason, customer service is Horrible and I don't see how they have Ben in business so long. From the first day it has been ridiculous. Do Not Deal with these people!
We have 2 accounts with them. Every month, they claim that our debit card declined payment, which is a lie. It pulls 1 of the payments but not the other? Really?!?! Then they slap late fees on the payment.
We are set up on auto pay, and should not have to call in every month, to fix their incompetency and pay late fees, to boot!
THIS time, besides the normal lie about it not pulling the payment, she got it to work immediately when hubby called, without us telling her the card number, said she would email the confirmation, but didn't.
One more time, we will pay our accounts off and will no longer do business with these people!
Why do you have to continue to set up auto payments every 6 to 8 months on the account. This is the 1st company that I have come across that does not keep the information unless you tell them other wise. So that will cause you to be late on a payment. If you do not want them calling you every hour on the hour. I sight you check every 3 to 4 mouths for when you need to verify our payment method. Oh yes never take out there insurance it is a rip off! Use your home owners/rental insurance. After I pay this washing machine off I will never do business with them again unless I pay cash for the item.
Please Don't go to the store and especially deal with Alexis She completely screwed up my order and because of her incompetency is costing me an additional $400 having to repay delivery fee and I'm missing half of my sectional now because of her. So if you would like to go to a con store in person take my advice and go to Northwest expressway they're way more helpful and nothing like dealing with i-240 store.

I did not receive a remote with a tv I ordered online and they will not do the rig he thing and send me a remote claiming Because the delivery was signed for I got all the parts. It's. 85 inch tv granted my son received it. Even if I was the one signing for it. I wouldn't have opened it right away to go seek a remote o have never had missing from other deliveries.
I bought a stove 14 months ago online. I'm still paying on it and the damn thing don't work. I called they said my warranty went out in October. Since I bought it online I wasn't offered a extra warranty. So now I'm paying for a appliance that doesn't even work. What's sad is I bought a washer and dryer from them a month ago. Now I'm stuck with them till both are paid off. This place is a joke. As soon as they are laid off will never buy anything else. I could stop paying but it will go to collections so pretty much $#*!ed
They put a hard inquiry on to your credit report! And the biggest joke is that they ask you to prove how much income you make! None of their business! I said NO Thank you, I don't want your credit! I do not recommend them!
