I was approved in January 2022/February 2022-$4500 limit, try to purchase a $429 skyworth tv on yesterday Mar h 19,2022/get rejected, but sent to a third party bank for the purchase. I have made all my payments days before, my due date. Very disappointed, great merchandise, but bad qualifying to get it.Not pleased, a not happy consumer.

I made a big purchase of Appliance for a new construction home. The delivery driver drug the appliances across the wooden floor and scratched and we had to replace. The manger told us several times they would make it right! No Response or call back!

Never again.

Purchased nice Samsung refrigerator back in Feb 2022. Paying $166 a month with 12 month interest free. Well I explained to them that I thought I still had time, have never missed a payment. It's March and they won't let me pay off the total balance before the interest was applied. They don't work with you. Never shopping there again.

I received an item with a defect, will not exchange it for me, difficult if not impossible to return. They basically ignore you. They don't deserve 1 star. How this place is still in business is unreal within it's self but they keep finding victims. The name Conn's is dead on, at least they don't deceive you in that aspect.

Upset customer
March 21, 2023

I was 3 days late on my 2nd payment. They threatened to put me in collections & asked me when, where, & what time I was going to pay. I told the representative that I just overlooked the payment because the account was new. She still was being nasty about it so It just hung up on her & paid my account online. Very rude customer service. I will never buy or recommend them to anyone.

I had called to say i was going to be late on a payment,the person on the other end sounded like they really didn't care about me calling in much less even took a note to my last name is linneman,must people ask how do you spell my last name bet you if i called again an asked if there was a status change on my account nothing will be there

I want you to know that if you are approved for The Conns "Home Plus Financing" you get approved, given the CASH OPTION, you will need to make sure that you do two things

1. Make the monthly payment by (before the due date every single month. I would NEVER accept this account unless I set up auto-pay, which I did. Failure to pay or even missing a payment by one day will result in a retroactive charge of interest (4000 on a 5500 account)

2. Call Conns at the beginning and tell them to NEVER CONTACT YOU, you are a grown adult and you do not need reminder calls. Having a payment of 270.00 and having my bank pay 150.00 every two weeks resolved this issue.

3 Now, when you look at your credit report it will show a balance that ASSUMING THAT YOU WILL NOT PAY ON TIME, so in my case, I used 5500 but the balance on my report is almost 9000.

4. This company is assuming that you will fail to pay. In the beginning, they will DEMAND that you purchase INSURANCE. This is where you pull out a copy of your Home Owner's or Renter's Police and REFUSE to buy their policy.

If you follow my instructions, you will be ok. If you deviate in the slightest, you will be charged THOUSANDS EXTRA.

Do not shop here

The products they sell are name brand, however, having them delivered and set up is a totally different ball game! I purchased a washer and dryer, when they came to my home to deliver it the delivery team had no tools, therefore they asked my husband for his, and then they proceeded to hook up everything wrong. So glad my husband was home and knew how everything worked otherwise my laundry room would have been flooded ( the delivery team didn't use the hose washers). If you purchase from them be very careful of what they do once they get to your home!

Problems then horrible customer service
August 22, 2021

I had a problem with picking up my order on 3 July 2021. Was contacted 3 days later by a customer service rep saying they liked to handle problems within 72 hours. This is now the 30th of July, no resolution. Have talked to 3 reps via email. Have asked for a supervisor's email and number, only response was for the last rep (who did not even bother identifying herself) to ask me the same questions I answered on the 6th of July. Do not waste your money on this company!

A HOT MESS!

Please stay away from these people. They charge you for new items and they bring defected items. They are way over priced. I had 4 damaged refrigerator bought out to my home in 2 weeks. They also damaged home while getting the refrigerator in. I had to wait over 7 days to receive my money back. I went to Lowe's and purchased the same refrigerator for $700.00 less and got great customer service. I am still waiting to get my home repairs done. These people need to be shut down and put out of business. They do not deserve a 1 star.

Don't buy here!

They don't honor their warranty. I have to now keep paying on a bed that is basically trash. Their customer service also sucks. Very unhelpful. I was told my mattress has to have an inch and a half dip in it for it to be defective. I'm sorry but you try sleeping in a dip! Worst company ever. Buy somewhere else.

I would leave no stars if I could. They are overly eager to get you to buy stuff when you walk through the front door. Some days they appear like sharks circling their prey. They are gone just as quick when I tell them I am there paying a bill.
We bought a dishwasher and a fridge from them. I haven't been able to determine if they sold us a used fridge or if it were damaged upon installation. The company THEY use did damage several wall corners and a door jam moving the items in. Conn's will only hand out a number to call, ducking any responsibility - like being responsible for using the company to begin with. The company puts all the responsibility on Conns. So much for customer service.
Pics show the damaged and crooked fridge door as well as the missing interior lens. It was broken so they simply taped it up. It kept falling so it was removed. Shoddy work, poor customer service, no interest in taking responsibility for their actions. Will NEVER shop there again!

Conn's is a company that is crooked! My father purchased a Samsung refrigerator from them and paid it off early and in full. In spite of his good credit, they charged a 30% interest rate on this purchase. Additionally, they have repeatedly harassed and called him numerous times lying and saying that he still has a balance due. Now they are are calling me and I am not on the account. Also, he purchased an extended warranty on the product which cost $484.99 and they would not honor the warranty that is still valid until May, 2023.

The invoice was changed causing me to receive the wrong mattress. The store manager tried to make it right but corporate said no mattress exchanges period, no matter who's fault. Customer service is a joke, no help at all. I'm stuck with a mattress I cannot use and Conn;s could care less. Also my personal information was shared with at least two credit agencies without my authorization. My advice is do not shop at Conn's.

Unhappy

On returning my window unit air-conditioning nothing but a run around. The heater was not working. I was told it's not a product they fix and it must be returned to the store. I needed to wait for permission to return the item. It takes three to five days I'm told. It's now more than a week into the process. Any call that I have made to the service department, customer service or even corporate has been routed through the Philippines. Horrible service!

Would give zero stars if I could. This company is a complete scam. They told me a date that my interest only period was up and account to be paid in full was however when I went to make that final payment I found out that it was actually two months prior. They added on an additional $1300 in interest when my full balance still due was only $600. I've called more times then I can count to get paper statements sent to me. Every time I call they are extremely rude and it's been over a year and I still have yet to receive anything. They told me all they provide is payment coupons and I never have received those either. In my eyes they were not only rude but extremely dishonest about account terms and the result was me now have to pay double what my original payoff amount was. I wish I would have never shopped with their finance department they are crooks to say the least!

Stay Away

Stay away! Their delivery process is HORRIBLE. They don't communicate and scheduling is awful. Avoid the frustration and buy with home depot. And forget about buying online. Their website errors out and you can't complete the purchase and when it's done it actually erases the delivery options. It's an absolute night mare.
They use an oversees call center and they don't have access to any information so might as well not even call them.

Just Terrible

Their customer service has always been atrocious, but recently they "updated" their online website and permanently banned all customers, including current customers who have NOT agreed to any new terms of service, from logging into their web accounts. They did this to make the lives of their customers more difficult and to make their own business more cost effective while having to do less work.
Now if you simply want to pay your bill, you have to partially expose your SSN and you have no way of changing your address or any of your contact information without calling Conn's customer service telephone number and waiting half an hour to speak to an agent. It also requires "email verification" each time you want to pay your bill, as opposed to staying logged in. And their telephone computer system is designed in such a way that it does everything possible to dissuade and leader away customers from speaking to an actual person.
