I have never dealt with a company that tries very hard to avoid having a customer speak with a live customer service representative. I truly dislike this company with a passion.
Xfinity customer service and support is a disaster. Never have I seen a company with such inept, incompetent, poor service as Xfinity. Cable TV is bad, Xfinity is even worse. When I signed up for internet in May 2021, the agent misspelled by email address so the Xfinity store could find no record of my account, and I could never sign in online or create an account. Once adding TV package, I went to the Xfinity store, Port Charlotte, FL where the wait times were 1 -2 hours. When I received the cable TV box, it was defective and could not be used. I was also provided only one cable for the splitter when two are obviously required, one for the modem and the other for cable box. I spent hours on the phone with Xfinity to receive help. The supervisor agreed to send a wireless cable box with 4K capabilities. Instead, the cable box does not have 4K to match my TV. An agent agreed to expedite a second wireless box with 4K. No trace of the new wireless cable box has been found searching UPS, FedEx. I cannot reach Xfinity customer service. Xfinity is a disaster.
When you have issues and you will with this company good luck. My internet goes down more times in ONE day than a hooker does on all her clients in a YEAR.
They have the worst customer service you have ever experienced. In general your chain is good. But the customer service is from the but, especially since it is foreign
The absolute worse customer service. I refuse to ever go back to Comcast cable/internet. They will try to screw you over any way they can possible. I've been on hold for hours and been transferred to atleast 7 representatives, and they still couldn't fix the internet problem. How incompetent are their employees? They know how to jack up prices and send you bills or things you did not ask for or purchase, but they can't figure out how to set up their internet correctly, nor can they keep track of cable boxes returned even though I was given receipts I had to sit on the phone on hold for over an hour for them to figure out that we had already returned the cable box, they wanted to charge us 150$ because they couldn't find the fact that we had returned the box. They sent a tech out once when we didn't ask for one, the tech knocked, we said no we don't need anything, he left and the next bill is charged for having the tech come to the house for service! Unbelievable! Had to sit on the phone for almost an hour arguing before they took the service charge off the bill! I would stay away from anything that has to do with comcast!
Every time it rains my internet goes out, then when it dries up it comes back on. I called to get a repair because I know it is bad insulation on the pole causing this - they told me it would be $100 to come out and fix THEIR PROBLEM ON THEIR POLE! I told them to disconnect it and I will switch to EPB. This is a crummy thieving company

We are in a Middle of a worldwide epidemic And my kids Are being homeschooled because of that epidemic And they turned off my service because I didn't get to pay Off my full Bill even though I paid more than half of it And All they're doing is constantly putting up the fees even though people are losing their jobs and not being able to work And people need their service so their kids can be homeschooled It's b*******. It makes me to get mad Do you guys want pictures and you can't submit pictures Of your service being turned off
I have to have Comcast due to the fact that they have a monopoly on my town and won't let in other competing businesses. Would love to switch to Verizon! Anyway, I work at home and needed to add phone to my existing internet/cable plan. I call, they set it up for $29.99 a month and will send the equipment. 2 weeks pass, I call and they have cancelled my new phone plan because I didn't fill out a e911 form. So 1) I was never told to do that and 2) why did no one call to tell me it was cancelled? Fine. They set up the phone again. 5 days pass and no equipment. Call again... it was cancelled. This time because the price THEY GAVE ME, wasn't a valid promotion. Once again I had to contact them. Now it's $41 a month and I don't have the original phone number (which is on all my business cards and in my work directory) As soon as Verizon is available here Comcast can go KICK ROCKS. And if this phone equipment doesn't show up in 5 days I will literally tie tin cans to strings and try my luck with that.
I am sick of so many power outages and they charge so much money for only internet and then you don't get a credit. I am done with them. I am moving on to AT&T.
Comcast SUCKS! Their customer service that gets sent to the Philippines SUCKS! Their fees are BULL$#*!! I'm being charged for something I canceled months ago and the Philippines said that they cannot reverse the charges. $#*! COMCAST!

I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews for companies, but for this I will. Their billing department is a joke. After my service has ended, they told me that I will only be charged a partial bill for the week of use. I was charged the full monthly amount. Ok sure. I reached out regarding this and they said they'll refund back the difference within a week. I waited two weeks until I filed a dispute with my credit card company. A couple weeks after they finally refunded the difference to the card.
After a couple months, I got a call from a collections agency apparently for two months worth of bill, 1 month for the credit card chargeback and another month for a penalty fee for opening up a credit card chargeback. I've never dealt with a more dishonest, unhelpful, and straight up scummy company that's so widely used.
I will be opening up a case with the FTC for their business practices. Classic case of retaliation. I hope they get a huge fine, have PR rip them apart and the entire senior management resigns. What a clownfest of a company.
I'm trying not to cuss... I gotta pray or something! These jerkoffs are a whole great deal. If you can't tell already, I'm hella pissed. I was in a car accident, and I couldn't work for months. Found a job where I can work online, but they cut the internet off. I called to make arrangements, which I can't make the full past due balance yet, and they agreed and cut my internet on. EVERY SINGLE DAMN DAY I've called at least twice a day to turn it back on so that I can work.
The person I spoke to today was telling me there's nothing they can do. So I said "are you serious? So you're telling me that you can't cut the internet back on, for me to work so that I can pay you guys?" She clearly dodged the questions and me telling her off. This woman had THEE AUDACITY to put her work phone down and ignore me for literally about 5 minutes, and I bet she thought I was going to hang up. I DID NOT HANG UP! Then I told her to let me speak with someone higher than her, someone who gets paid more than her. She said she's is the higher up person. I told her I ain't dumb. Someone get paid more than you to do this job. Then this woman turns around and gives me the number to speak with someone higher than her. Then she turns around and says "I know how important needing the internet is, seeing that I need it for work too..." which I cut her off and said she would never understand. Her name is MJ and her employee ID number is *******020 take note. Count your days MJ.
Comcast is a company that is allowing the EXPLOTATION OF BLACK WOMEN. THE HEAD CEO, Brian Roberts knows about the actions of a CEO of COMCAST that is using Comcast to use BLACK WOMEN as a means of sexual harassment and NO action is used against this CEO. The CEO that is using BLACK WOMEN for EXPLOTATION is the CEO of OUT BOUND TELESALES. This CEO has sexually BLACK WOMEN for years and nothing has been done about it.
Xfinity/comcast has wasted my money, time, and energy, I have been a customer for years. To start off they sent me a flex box that I had not approved of, asked, or accepted, they then charge me for said equipment monthly, I call and call as they always just hang up on you after spending 30 minutes trying to get ahold of customer service. As I told them I would not drive the 30 minutes each way to return this flex box they can come pick it up because I did not ask for this or approve of it, they state that they have a pickup you can choose online, it did not work for me, so I schedule for a supervisor to call me because the person I spoke to doesn't know how to set it up, they never do. I drive this back to the store wasting more time, money in gas and wear and tear on my vehicle, I cancel my account while returning the flex box. I get a final bill that they owe me $10.69 on 11/18/22. I start receiving messages on the daily about unreturned equipment, I have used my own router and had returned the flex box when I canceled my account. I wasted another 2 hours of my life trying to talk to someone about the "unreturned equipment" which they stated, that's an error in the system don't worry about it. Fast forward to sending me another final bill for $227.01 on 1/2/23 unreturned equipment, now trying to get ahold of someone they can't find my account because it has been closed so they just hang up on me…. Now I talk to a chat agent, and they can't help me.

My xfinity Mobile account was closed and paid off 12/07/2020. This same bill recently appeared on my credit after it was paid. Upon cancelation of the Mobile account, I kept my internet services until the following summer 2021 when I changed my address. I have payment information from my bank account where I still paid monthly for internet in 2021. The provider first said I did not make any payments towards the internet or Mobile service. Once I provided this bank statement showing the Mobile account was paid off, the provider then said I made the payment to the wrong department and that my Mobile services continued, & that my internet was canceled. How was the internet canceled if I still made payments & used the internet? Either I need a refund or these false charges need to be removed from my credit! The provider also stated there is suddenly no copy of my contract nor payments made as proof of these charges. But I'm still being charged... How can you charge me if you said yourself there are no records of the account.
I am a Comcast Xfinity subscriber for myself and my daughter. When I took out the service I was promised a lifetime fee. After 2 years our fee was increased tremendously and upon contacting Comcast I was advised that they have no such thing as a life time fee program. I am a senior citizen and a veteran and was told that I qualify for reductions. Upon contacting Comcast I was told there are no predictions. I find Comcast to be only profit focused. I was told that there is a class action lawsuit against Comcast for deception, but can not find information on this pertaining to Pennsylvania. To my knowledge Washington state has filed such a lawsuit. If I am correct the lawsuit implies that Comcast has deceived customers and employed deceptive practice in order to profit. Comcast is said to not have disclosed the actual terms of their service. Customers have stated that Comcast's charges are exorbitant and unjustified. If my information is accurate the suit sates that Comcast deceives customers with misleading marketing. It states that Comcast misinterprets its offers.
I definitely would like to see action taken to hold Comcast accountable for the polices it proclaims to offer and does not hold true to.

Answer: It was my only choice so Comcast/Xfinity has taken advantage of their monopoly as an Internet provider to sell packages at an extremely inflated price!
Answer: No real success stories. Comcast kept me on the phone so many hours for issues which should've taken minutes each. Every call to customer service leaves you so aggravated, you cannot think straight for the remainder of the day or night.
