Now I understand why Comcast is so hated! Vindictive, crooked, you name it. My hoa pays for our cable TV service with Comcast. I had internet with them which I paid for for over a year and never used so I decided to cancel the internet service and after returning their equipment they turned off my TV service for which they were paid by my hoa and only got TV service back only after paying "a past due balance" for the internet. Following month another bill arrived for another "past due balance" for internet service despite the fact that I cancelled the service a month prior and paid the so called past due balance and returned their equipment. Question is, is it legal for a service provider to deprive a customer of a service for which they have been paid? Since hoa pays for TV service but they turn off TV service for a fake internet bill.

Horrible!

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with no results. I spoke with a female who spoke broken English and repeated everything I said. I was disconnected twice, but only got a call back one time. I couldn't call her back because she only left the main Comcast number. I heard kids yelling and a dog barking in the background - she was apparently working from home, which is OK, but the environment should be business-like. I never heard from her again, and my problem is not resolved. If only there was another reasonable alternative to TV!

Corporate monster

Expensive and unreliable, Comcast continues to inflict spotty and substandard cable TV and WiFi product on its victims, sorry, customers. The first-level cable package at which the corporation will offer WiFi services costs almost $200 a month, includes hundreds of channels of no interest, and frequently rises in price with no commensurate benefit to its victims, sorry, customers. Comcast must be paying the US Congress beaucoup bucks not to regulate it or allow cable customers to create their own cable packages with the channels they actually choose to watch. Trying to connect with one of Comcast's employees involves a good ten-minute struggle past a phalanx of telephonic robots whose sole purpose is to redirect customers away from human contact. The struggle, once survived, is followed by a lengthy hold during which customers can, oh, bake a cake, replace the motor oil in their car, or write a term paper. America's crony capitalists value nothing more than making a buck off our nation's citizenry, so Comcast will, no doubt, continue to pay Congress protection money, and its victims, sorry, customers will continue to take it in the shorts. The whole thing is a racket.

Everyone has trouble from time to time. Ordering and making a purchase can be handled in minutes but if you have a problem how will it be handled? If you have to call Comcast be prepared to wait even if you use their call-back system. I waited 15 minutes for my call back and have been on additional hold for over 1 hr.
One way to solve this would to make them accountable for lost business while they make you troubleshoot the issues. I have switched over to ATT fiber and so far so good but not sure what problems I will have when that goes down.

After 36 hours of OUTAGE WITH ZERO INPUT FROM COMCAST, NO NEWS COVERAGE IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO/ DAVIS AREA, WE'RE FINALLY UP AND RUNNIG! LETS NOT WORRY ABOUT THE FACT THAT ZERO NEWS STATIONS EVEN ADDRESSED THE FACT! HOW ABOUT THOSE OF US THAT W.O.R.K! AND RELY ON SERVICE! THEN, AFTER ALL OF THAT TIME, THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO SEND A TEXT PROMOTING FASTER SERVICE...AND GREAT DEALS! THIS COMPANY IS A FREAKING JOKE! IM SWITCHING TO I DONT CARE WHO!

I tried to adjust my account with Comcast and they were unwilling to negotiate. Also, it is extremely hard to find a representative that understands English, the speak it well and it's no fault of there own, just another place for Comcast to cut corners and save while you pay more. I told them if they couldn't work with me I will look into Verizon. I closed the my Xfinity account and was told that they will now charge me $25 per cell phone line because we don't have Xfinity (we have three lines so $75 per month). I called Verizon and with them we will be paying less than our Xfinity bill and that includes our cell service. Will NEVER use Comcast again!

This price gouging useless trash of a company will charge you arm and leg then chokehold your bandwidth and limit your internet until they ask you for more money. Worst part is, they are at least a step above the rest. As if that is some kind of excuse for their incompetence and willing disregard for the importance of Internet in the modern day. They gladly take your money then seem offended that you want something in return for it. Like providing Internet is this mystical magical thing they have no control over. It's insane what these companies are allowed to get away with. The people who run Comcast should be ashamed. You're gatekeeping an essential resource. There is something fundamentally wrong with you.

Why am I paying 124.00 a month for internet when am constantly getting a pop up saying my wifi connection is not within range? Why when I am in town am I not within range? This us the biggest rip off company I have ever seen. Maybe more like a scam

Denied

After 2 phone calls & five days later, I found out I was denied my request for Comcast Xfinity services. The excuse was, it was out of their service area. Even though two years ago a large crew showed up at my home. They tore up my front yard up, blocked my driveway, left trash in my driveway & they walked my entire property as if they owned it. All while staring down my fiancé, as if to say what are you going to do about it? I had to back then contact Comcast & filed a complaint showing the pictures of the trash the crew had left behind and how they tore my grass up. It took a several days but they finally showed back up, picked up their trash & replanted the grass they tore up.

Comcast is a company that is allowing the EXPLOTATION OF BLACK WOMEN. THE HEAD CEO, Brian Roberts knows about the actions of a CEO of COMCAST that is using Comcast to use BLACK WOMEN as a means of sexual harassment and NO action is used against this CEO. The CEO that is using BLACK WOMEN for EXPLOTATION is the CEO of OUT BOUND TELESALES. This CEO has sexually BLACK WOMEN for years and nothing has been done about it.

Closing Account Stress

Yep, everyone is sunshine and rainbows with friendly fast service when you open an account, but when closing an account, well that is a different story. It took me 4 trips to the Xfinity Edina location to close my wifi account because the phone calls to close the account all seem to suddenly disconnect. It took me 5 calls and 3 were hang ups to close my cell phone account, finally on the 6th attempt, a new vendor got it closed in 45 minutes. Regardless of my account being closed and confirming that with several comcast agents, comcast took the full amount from my checking account. I received condescending service for the 3rd time I requested an update on my prorated refund and each of those 3 times I did not receive the same information. Still no refund was provided. I know I won't be missed, but this breakup was long overdue.

Now they sent us to collection and are going to put a black mark on my credit. Do not ever consider using them as they will do the same to you. Now I have to dispute this with a collection agency by SMAIL MAIL!

Comcast SUCKS! Their customer service that gets sent to the Philippines SUCKS! Their fees are BULL$#*!! I'm being charged for something I canceled months ago and the Philippines said that they cannot reverse the charges. $#*! COMCAST!
