I did my booking through cleartrip in an emergency situation. Flight got cancelled due to pandemic and today I got happy news from cleartrip saying that Rs. 0 got it as refund. Pls note that they are not capable of getting refund when it comes to refund. I suggest use these website only to verify rates of different airlines but booking only do it with concern airline booking site not with 3rd party website like cleartrip.com.

Trip Id -*********48.
Booked a flight from Bengaluru- Lucknow to and fro, but cancelled due to emergency through Indigo website directly. Indigo has refunded the amount and says its with the travel partner to be refunded to the customer! When I enquired with cleartrip they say refund is not processed by Indigo and also if it is processed by cleartrip will have cancellation charges!. Filthy service from cleartrip. They mint money from other people's pocket.

I booked a flight to amman through bahrain and there system allowed 13 hour transit in Manama which is not allowed as the maximum allowed transit time is 12 which i was not aware of. When i explained this their rep he said it is not their fault and they can't get me a refund.
So basically i lost my full ticket fair. Idiots!

Simplicity is core value of this website. I always book my train and hotel from this website.
Prices are really good as compare to other websites. Mobile version and Applications are also too good. This is the only site in the world which takes less than 2 minutes to do the entire booking.

Worst Customer Service
November 26, 2020

Due to cleartrip negligence and bad quality of technology, I have got booked my flight twice and now there are saying they cannot refund my amount. I tried to contact customer care after many tries and now they are saying "non refundable and i need to bare the whole amount".
Thank You clear trip for good experience and will never suggest anyone to use the site.

Tried to cancel before 4 days from the trip date- from cleartrip site,
But page not available mean i cant do change date or cancel the trip,
Site cancellation link not working, when i call to customer care they told should be do cancel 24 hours before, i answer i am trying since from 4 days on your site but cancel page not working-they said they cant help and no refund available, so that time on wards i stopped using for book flight by cleartrip.

No Refund

I had booked a ticket from Dubai to Chennai on the 18th of December, 2021 & I mentioned this email address :*******@yahoo.co.in. Unfortunately, I was unable to travel due to some personal reasons. So I cancelled the booking & notified to you through an e-mail on mid of Nov-2021. I received a reply from their side on 22-Nov-2022 stating that the refund would be credited within 15 days, but I still haven't received it. When I called customer service, they gave me the fake response that they would contact me within 48 hours. I have called them nearly 12 times but haven't received a single dirham. My friends, I am fed up, and I am asking all of you to book directly with the airlines rather than using these types of travel service providers. Clear trip means very poor response, poor follow-up, and customer service representatives will cut off our calls while we are speaking.

Cleartrip never refunded my money for two domestic flights from March and April 2020. The airline companies clearly state that this money is refundable. I have exchanged tens of emails but Cleartrip has used excuses in one case and has been withholding these funds in the other case without stating any reason. They probably figure they can get away with it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for two years, but now I will make sure I share this with every review site I can find and will only take down if they do the right thing, which I suspect they won't. Too bad because I had been using Cleartip for my travel needs in India for approximately 10 years. Never again.

Is there an option of giving ZERO rating as cleartrip is the worst travelportal booked my ticket got all. Mails of confirmations and then it got cancelled for no reason staff cant speak english n very unprofessional never ever book on cleartrip

Very Bad Experience
November 16, 2020

I booked a return ticket with Cleartrip since February 2020 they cancelled me due to covid 19 until now they did not refund me yet. Sending them emails and calling then customer service they just ignore you. They will not answer or at least acknowledge your queries.

I have booked flight tickets on June first week and flight was cancelled due to Covid. And Indigo confirmed they have refund to cleartrip but as of now still not credited money

They are not maintained any customer care number and no mail contact
When we send feedback requests form mobile app getting automatic mails. My refund amount ******* rs.

Please don't use this site I think this is fake one for robbery money from customer

How airline company's allowing this type of third party sites

Please please please don't void any ticket from this site

Like 1000s of other customers, no response and zero customer service. Where is the money that the hotel and intermediary Expedia want to refund to me? I did all the work on your behalf to secure a full refund yet you are withholding the funds. It's been months now... don't think I will forget about this...

Cleartrip has the worst customer service, i had book my flight with them, they them self changed the ticket without my confirmation and when i was not happy with the changes, i cancelled and asked for the refund, its being more then 6 months now, until now they havent refunded and everytime i call they have the same answer, we dint got the money form airline, once airline pays us we will pay you back. Its better to pay double to the airline then to book with cleartirp.

By far the worst travel company I have ever dealt with. No customer service, no help at all and very inconsiderate. After booking my flight and deducting the money from my account due to their system faults, after calling and speaking to 6 different agents and yet no help was offered, they came to a conclusion of refunding the money to my account which will take 5 working days. Keep in mind that I have bills and other pending payments to make. Do not book through them, they will waste your time and money. So now, I'm stuck with no flight ticket and insufficient money to book a new ticket and will have to wait 5 days, if not more to make a new booking. And that wallet/cashback coupon they lure people into making their bookings through them does not work or exist. It is the whole reason my booking has failed apparently, when in fact at the check out of my booking, it was automatically selected along with my debit card. What a shame.

We booked our trip to Goa with Cleartrip and they cancelled from their end. There was no refund and everytime we try to reach their customer care, we get an automated response. Pathetic services and zero empathy towards their customers.
FYI- Our money is still stuck with them so be smart and don't trust them with *******@cleartrip

I booked a ticket for my son, from Manchester-UK to Bahrain via Abo Dhabi on 20 March. After four days, the airlines, Etihad, cancelled the flight.
Since then, after more than 90 days, I am struggling with ClearTrip to get back my money.
Clear trip give very narrow channel to complain, they didn't updated me on the status except once for message from "no-reply" email. They are not cooperative and not doing any effort in recovering my money from the airlines. After complain to my credit card issuer, I got my money back after sixty days, but clear trip get it back after thirty days which makes me unhappy at all. Fight is going on.

I am not going to use Clear Trip any more, I have a very bad experience with them. I rate them zero, if this is the minimum, because they are careless and don't have appropriate customer care.

Scammers

Cleartrip is the ultimate scammer. I booked a ticket on the14th o june 2019 but did not receive a ticket. My money was withdrawn but not refunded although they said that they would refund it immediately. Dont ever go to their site.

Worst customer service
August 18, 2020

I booked flights with them but unfortunately it was cancelled because of the covid situation, after running after them for months they replied and gave me a date for refund and after that they disappear again. Since then there is no news about them and no one contacted me back. I'm still sending them emails but no one bothers to reply. I also sent them a message on Instagram but it's all useless, it was the last time I made a booking with them and I will make sure none of my known ones book through these cheats.
