I booked flights with them but unfortunately it was cancelled because of the covid situation, after running after them for months they replied and gave me a date for refund and after that they disappear again. Since then there is no news about them and no one contacted me back. I'm still sending them emails but no one bothers to reply. I also sent them a message on Instagram but it's all useless, it was the last time I made a booking with them and I will make sure none of my known ones book through these cheats.
I made a booking through this idiotic site, and when In checked with the airline they told me that booking was never made and this stupid people never informed me. Such a worst experience. I recommend everyone to spend double money but never ever make any booking through cleartrip. Shut your company you idiots!

I booked tickets for my parents which got canceled because of the pandemic. Cleartrip confirmed through email on Dec 14th that the refund has been processed and the amount will be credited back to the original mode of payment (my bank account) in the next 5 to 7 business days. It has been more than 2-1/2 months and I am still waiting for the refund to be credited. Whenever I call them or email them, they just give the same response that the refund has been processed and the amount will show up in the account in the next 5 to 7 business days. My suggestion to everyone is not to book anything with these guys unless you want to wait for years to receive your refund money in case of a change of plans.
Cleartrip is a fraud company. I booked a flight ticket and the flight got cancelled. The airliner refunded the amount but cleartrip never did that. I called them 100 times they don't care.
Avoid such fraudsters. This is an ethically challenged typical Indian company. Stay away!

Flights cancelled due to Covid, which is understandable (Trip ID **************). Was told that I now have to wait 12 months for a refund which is unacceptable. Cleartrip are quick to take your money, however do not want to refund. Cleartrip - my contract is with you, not the airline, hence you are liable for a prompt refund. I have received refunds from other airlines within 45 days of flight cancellation, however you, as an agent, are stating 12 months. To hold that large sum of money for 12 months is unethical. I will be advising all who I come into contact with, about my experience and to not use Cleartrip.

I booked a flight and they already deducted from my bank. After I booked, there was no confirmation nor email sent to me. I called the next day after waiting for the confirmation, they said it failed. If it failed, then why did they deducted from my bank. I called 9 times to the customer service and they kept on telling me to wait for 5 hours, 24 hours and blah blah.
I needed that flight because it was an emergency but still no clear statement whether they'll cancel or refund. I told them to just refund it to me but they kept on saying they are still investigating. My bank already sent a statement that they clearly already deducted from us. They should just refund it.
It's such a hassle. Instead of being excited for your flight, you will be bombarded with worries.
Cleartrip please be better. You are affecting a lot of people.

Cleartrip is totally scam... we booked flight in july it got cancelled now its has been 6 months no refund. And they sending fake msgs saying the amount is credited in your bank and when i checked no money is credited. This cleartrip should be punished for this activity... they are cheating people. When we try to call customer number saying no telephonic service.

Ive been following up thru phone calls with regards to my refund for more than 6 months now. This is my Trip ID # ************** and **************. And im getting same feedback from the agent saying your refund request has been escalated and we will get back to you after 48 hrs. Next after 78 hrs, and so on so forth but until now im still waiting. Cleartrip is one of the worst ticket booking portal. Our tickets we're cancelled due to lockdown and there is no response or help. They in turn message us that we talk to the airlines.(Swissair in this case).
The airlines tell us to talk to our booking agents(Cleartrip). Please avoid Cleartrip at all account. Basically they feel they have no responsibility at all to solve our problems. I must tell you it's not a small amount as it was an international flight.
I did my flight booking through cleartrip for Dec 19,2020. Flight got rescheduled and from flight authority i got mail that i can get full refund if i am not willing to travel due to reschedule. I followed up with flight agency they informed as i have booked from 3rd party i need to co-ordinate with cleartrip to get full refund. I followed up cleartrip from Nov 26 to Dec 19. There was no proper reply from cleartrip other than asking for 24hr time to confirm me. Finally there was Rs. 400 got as refund, whereas as per flight rules and mail confirmation i suppose to get full refund. This amount also i got as I cancelled from my end as cleartrip didn't update any status on this even didn't cancelled from there end too. Pls note that they are not capable of getting refund when it comes to refund. I suggest use these website only to verify rates of different airlines but booking only do it with concern airline booking site not with 3rd party website like cleartrip.com.

I booked a flight through them in an emergency and I had to cancel because they booked a flight which required transit visa and did not even tell me about it. At the last moment, they told me about it and I had to cancel it. It has been more than 3 weeks now and I'm still struggling to get a refund. This is one of the worst places to book a flight or book anything from. I would never recommend this agency to anyone ever. Please do not make the mistake of booking from here. EVER>
I booked my vacation tickets for my family from abu dhabi to Calicut unfortunately due to Covid-19 I cancelled my traveling but I got only less amount refund. Guys, the rate at this site looks cheap at cleartrip but once you are done booking you dont even get a ticket if you have a ticket they cancel it saying sold out blocks money and leave the customer with a sorry and ask to rebook, its a total waste site better visit trustworthy sites for booking.
I booked my ticket through the EzCancel policy which clearly states that refund will be given if cancelled 72hrs before the date of departure, i cancelled and they deducted an amount in the name of 'insurance amount'. The customer care doesn't have a response and they cleared cut the call when asked. Worst experience!

Answer: I'll keep it brief. We booked a ticket in August (India to Canada using Air France) this was before the air bubble restrictions were launched both on the website and in public knowledge. On the day of my Air France flight, Air France called me to tell me because of the airline restrictions I can't board the plane, the ticket was 1.83 lakhs for one way. We called Cleartrip right away to see what can be done about this - well firstly they've removed the option to call them so you're forced to email. They called us back and said we should hear back about a refund in two weeks. In two weeks nothing. As I mentioned that was August, it is now DECEMBER and we have had endless emails and calls with Cleartrip with no resolve. You'd think those emails would be something productive - but no! They are AUTOMATED emails, again and again. Every time someone calls me its a different person from their team who has no context about my use case and then says oh give us 72 hours to get back to you and then someone else calls me! And now they're saying because it's after the day of the flight that they can't guarantee the refund amount - have you heard of anyone cancelling a 1.83 lakh flight with NO GUARANTEE of the refund?! What if I get 100 rs back? Am I supposed to be okay with it? The biggest joke is that I called Air France directly and told them about this situation and they said in this circumstance we would have offered a full refund. The offered to convert my ticket into a voucher I could use till the end of 2022 with any of their airlines and had no idea why Cleartrip was saying they need to speak to them and happily left a remark on my ticket recommending a full refund. You thought that would help? Wrong. Since that remark, Cleartrip has now continued another three weeks of ridiculous automated emails with absolutely no indication of this remark or anything else helpful frankly. I'm very very sorry for you if you have to ever interact with Cleartrip support for anything. If you're booking a risky flight, be sure this is the wrong place for any kind of help.

Answer: Impossible. None of the contacts provided in the companies website are working. Customer service portal doesnot work. Only the refund related calls don't go through. All other dial options work. This looks like a complete fraud, which needs to be reported to the authority, which I will do if i do not get a response.
