Went to Claire's at the Macon mall at 2pm Sunday 2/26/23 upon entering the store I heard everyone saying Where is the person working here? I waited five minutes and still no one could be found,finally the store was quite busy and a customer went and knocked on a back door,a young black woman with long braids opened the door and said they were looking for some earrings.Now why both were in the back looking while the store was left unattended I don't know.Buy then after a few minutes more, two ladies came out and I asked if I could get my ears pierced using my own diamond studs and she said No but I could purchase some different diamond studs from them and they would put them in.I asked why would I do that if I already have diamond studs so the manager (who said her name was R.E but I doubt that),she started saying she knew about her business and just mumbling out loud so I asked her name.My earrings were studs and real why would it have made a difference,I even told them ide buy a pair of theirs but I wanted mine put in but they wouldn't.Managers attitude was bad and mumbling was rude,no more Claire's for me.
I was in Claire's at the Plymouth Meeting Mall this evening between 6-6:15 March 15,2024. I went into the store. The, for lack of a better word, woman was less that cordial. I sensed attitude from the door. I was looking at hair accessories and 3 very young girls came in and, as young people do, asked a question about ear piercing. The person running the store said "FIRST, WE'RE GOING TO START WITH A HELLO. THERE'S A CHART THAT YOU CAN LOOK AT 'OVER THERE' AND THEN IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION I CAN ANSWER IT". Now my ears are wide open. After checking the" chart", one of the girls asked how much a piercing was for the "pearl one". The woman said emphatically "EIGHTY DOLLARS". Before I knew it, I looked up and the kids were gone. She scared them away. An adult lady comes in with questions and I could not contain myself when she was being rude to her as well. I walked over and said "why are you being so rude. You ran those kids out of her and now you're still being rude. You have no business working here treating people that way. She tried to argue with me but backed that 'A' up and treated her like she was treating the customers. Told her she should be ashamed of herself and that I would contact corporate. She told me that she didn't care. Then she said. "You have one of our hair accessories in your hair. You can't do that." I said "And you can't talk to people that way" The other later that she was rude to had left the store and was standing outside when I came out. She said that she could not believe what had happened. She said that she was going to report it as well. This girl should be fired immediately. Who knows the number of people she's treated that way. Those little girls probably went out crying from humiliation. Children are sensitive to bullying. If I go to that store and see that woman still working there, I will have absolutely no dealings with Claire's. I've already told my friends about it. She 'thought' she was going to bully me when I interceded. Bully's will stand down when they come across a bigger bully than them. I worked in Customer Service for YEARS. That behavior is intolerable and unacceptable to say the lease. Get her out so that she doesn't hurt any other childrens or customers feelings.
I PLACED A ONLINE ORDER ON 2/1/2021 THE ORDER WAS SHIPPED ON 2/2/2021 TODAY IS 2/24/2021 AND I NEVER RECIEVED THE ORDER I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN I WILL NOT STOP I AM CALLING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AS WELL
Kicked my teen out because the cashier thought they were stealing, which they proved they werent. My teen went into claires looking for earring while i was elsewhere and the cashier questioned my teen on what they were doing and to which they replied "just looking and waiting for my gaurdian" (because i was paying), and the cashier told my teen to wait outside the store. My teen looks like a steriotypical bad teenager but in reality they have never stolen a thing. When i went to claires and asked my teen why they were outside the store and they explained to me what happend i was furious! I brought them back in and asked the cashier about it she said to me "they were making me uncomfortable and kept asking me to get stuff out of the glass case than ask to put it back". This is completely untrue because the stuff in the glass case is for people with nose pericings, which my teen dose not have. Im completely disapointed in claires staff/customer service.
I think Claires should make a new website to buy stuff online because I was trying to make a account and there were many errors and when I tryed to make a account it kept on saying " you need more than 8 characters" or '' this password is wrong" even though I followed the steps and I also think there should be a Bigger selection like the REAL claires.
After waiting for a package to arrive for two weeks... paid for 3-7 business days... placed order on the 19th and on the 31, still don't have it. After calling the the online customer service number I was told it would arrive per tracking "tomorrow". Two days later, still no package.
After calling again, I was told... it's your job as the sutimer to contact FedEx and see when it will be delivered and where it is. I was dumbfounded. I ask to speak with a supervisor and was told that I couldn't, I would be emailed back after 24 business hours. No one was willing to help me. It was a truly frustrating experience and Amanda nor Samantha was willing to help me with a reasonable resolution or make this right. My daughter is crushed! After two days of lies about it arriving tomorrow... she is in tears. She can't understand why no one was willing to help me resolve this today. So now we are waiting for an email from the escalations department. Worst customer service experience ever! I would expect better!
Guess what? September 5, called again, still no package, no emails and no refund. I'm at my wits end!
Claire's handles PLushies. They are wonderful little soft, furry friends that have a special one for each month. Kids and adults, both, love them!

I recently went to Clairs looking for a charm bracelet. I asked the sales person and she pointed and said "all our bracelets are over there". I didn't see it, but when I went home I found that I could order it for store pick-up. So now I would have to go back to that store to get it. So I ordered it and I received a message that it was available for pick-up but when I looked on their site it said my order was cancelled. I call sutomer service but she told me I had to call the store. The store informed me that they sold it by mistake. I asked for them to place an order for shipping but she said she couldn't do that, only corporate could. So I called corporate who said I would get an email with a code to use for shipping. The first email said since the item is out of stock she'll give me a 20% off any purchase. I told her it was not out of stock when I purchased it and the store sold it. I asked for the shipping fee, which I eventually got. Lot of wasted time.
Today I went to another Clairs to check out more jewelry. The sign on the door said "be back in 30 minutes" (30 minutes from when?) but since the door was unlocked I went in. The employee was on the phone the entire time I was there apparently talking to someone about issues with a child. She never acknowldged me or looked up. She continued to talk on the phone the entire time.
I got my ears pierced here and it was infected in a $#*!ING WEEK. Nobody should go here for getting your ears pierced because they don't do it correctly at ALL.
The earrings I got broke the first day I bought them. Don't ever shop here. This is the second time this has happened.

They sold me defective merchandise. Easings for piercing's were supposed to be stainless but infected my ear and turned green!
If zero stars was an option that's what they would get! They will allow anyone to bring your minor child in and claim to be there parent and have their ears pierced, although state law requires a parent or legal guardian to be present and sign for consent. Claire's does not require nor ask to see any legal documentation proving the person is the minor child's parent or legal guardian. This happened to me with my two daughter 9 and 8, as their mother my heart is broken. Getting their ears pierced is my choice and if it was going to be done, I wanted to be their to share that experience with them. I was robbed of my right to that as there legal/biological mother. When I contacted Claire's, first I spoke with district manager Michelle plant, who at first seemed very sympathetic to my situation. She's a phony, she gave me the run around. Told me she would call and email Corperate and I would hear from them within 24hrs because I was requesting the waivers signed by another woman who is neither my children's parent or legal guardian. 3 days goes by and I don't hear from anyone. I tried call Claire's Corperate myself, they have a dial by name directory and I didn't have a name for who I was supposed to be talking to, so it says hit "0" for an operator. I called for days and tried to Speak with an operator and everyday the automated system said no operator was available. I then contacted Michelle again and she said she would get back to me with the name of whoever I was supposed to speak to. She never did. Again the next day I tried contacting Michelle by call and text, with no response to either. Finally over a week later a woman calls me from corporate. I explained to her the situation and she was very rude! Stating the waivers a property of Claire's and they would not release them to me. So, if this awful situation ever affects you, don't expect any help or sympathy from Claire's on being robbed of your parental rights. They don't give a $#*!, they got paid for the piercings and that's all they care about. I had even explained to both Michelle and the woman I spoke with, I had no intentions of going after Claire's for this. I wanted the waivers for the signatures on them that clearly weren't mine so I could go after the woman who brought them into the store claiming to be their mother and signed for them to get their ears pierced.
I was able to obtain one copy of my child's waiver from a clearly poorly trained employee because she willingly just handed it over, which works in my favor but my other daughters waiver disappeared from the store the day before when district manager Michelle Plant had been there.
Why don't go to claire's the store is Walmart not claire's do that anymore NO. GO TO CLAIRE,See or no one else is did
