We used Cintas for a trial run as their sales rep told us no obligation we can cancel service any time. Well now after using the service for 9 months and giving them a try... I called to cancel because we are not satisfied with the service and they told us we have a 5 year contract with the company and it's now worth paying the penalties. In the meanwhile the sales rep... has left the company... How convenient.
Please don't trust them. Do yourself a favor and don't use them as a service.
U can turn in five sets of uniforms in a given week, and expect two maybe four sets back but two sets is the average they suck! I think they should watch sesame street as a training video. Never seen such a disappointing return of uniforms.
No rep ever comes to my place of business. They leave their dirty work to the drivers. They have forgotten who the customer is. They will dictate how customers will (comply) to their un-ability to accept how they want to do business. We begged them to let us out of our contract and they refused because they have burnt so many bridges with customers, they are grasping to get ever un-honest penny they can. They are not a stand-up company.
I work at Just4dogs a grooming company in downtown where we use a ton of towels everyday and David never fails to come every Wednesday to drop off and pick up towels and he makes sure we have enough to last us! He's always friendly and super thoughtful! I would recommend!
They say they dropped of uniform but left none, not one but twice and lost 6 pair of pants that was supposedly dropped of also, lousy to have to work in dirty uniforms in a heat wave. Under contract but the don't have to meet their part of it. They SUCK!
Buy your own uniforms or use a company that cares more about the customer and less about the commission that they lose if your are not satisfied. I am so disgusted after being in a 5 year contract they are still telling me that I am in contract... Horrible business model
Did not provide service as promised and then did not allow us to cancel or contract. Only after several complaints did they start to deliver the mats again.
The only positive about this company is the gentleman (Tony) that came out to complete most of our services. The rest of the company is run poorly. I'm not surprised that this company only has a 2 star rating. I signed up for bathroom cleaning services. The service has not been consistent, they came out all different times of the month and never a constant time due to over full schedules. Tony started with us in the beginning then some of his services were handed off to others. Due to equipment failure they were unable to make it out but no one from the company contacted me but then I received a bill. I called about this and spoke to multiple people and it took months to fix this. I would NOT recommend this company. I have requested that this service be canceled as soon as the contract expires.
I turned in five longsleeve shirts in order to convert them to short sleeve shirts two weeks ago. Each time they show up at my facility they told me that they don't have the shirts. They seem to have lost five shirts because they wanted to re-order five more shirts and there's no guarantee when I will get those. Do not ever use this company. Never!
We are a small Lawncare and landscape business. I gave the secretary permission to get a rug service due to her not wanting dust which I said ok to a monthly contract. I learned the hard way once she quit I tried to terminate the contract. Service manager contacted me and stated we are under contract for 5 years that the secretary had signed. We had been billed for months of service that we didn't receive in which we did receive credit after numerous phone calls. So they stop service after numerous of my calls to stop the service. This week I get a call from a collection service saying I owed over $2000. For the remainder of the contract. I guess if I treated my customers like this when they no longer need my service I would be out business. So I guess if I don't want this on my credit I will end up paying it. Not good business in a med size town word travels quick!
In the beginning our employees wanted Cintas uniforms and our salesperson was great. We moved locations and had a new contract shoved in our face to sign. Covid hit and our employees did not want to use the uniforms. We were not able to get out of our contract. Their legal team was too big to fight. So now we are having to pay for superfluous items that are overpriced. Think long and hard before signing.
Looking forward to August 2025 and our contract ends!
I work for general rv of ocala and was hired over 4 months ago. The 2nd day of work I gave my measurements for uniforms. We'll 4 months later I still have no uniforms and all I get are excuses from this company how they had a computer glitch and it didn't order my uniforms. Yet new guys have started and received uniforms in a week. I have damaged my own personal clothing because this company has failed to provide me with uniforms. I would like to be reimbursed for replacing jeans and shirts.
Would like to give a shout out to Josh Roberts who does a stellar job on the Vernon/ Shuswap route.
Not only is he punctual and efficient but equally he is always a pleasure to deal with.
In my opinion he is truly a great asset to your team.
Thank you,
William Rendall
Maintenance Lead, Shuswap Transit
If there was a chance to give them -10, i would do that. First they don't provide the promised service and then if you decide that its enough and you can't accept there mishaps and $#*!ty service and want to terminate their contract, they will take you to the court and make you pay the rest of the contract regardless of their screw ups so please think about before you sign with these crooks and bullies or to save alot of headache and bad service, look for another company with better reviews.
If you involve with this company you will be ripped off, here are some problems:
Their quality of products are terrible customers complaint
They give you service when you are not in store
They give you cleaners by OZ, but they charge you 100 times more
They invoice you for products that they do not provide. Their contract and the way they do is just to defraud you it is a scam. They do not deserve even one Star!
This company is the worst.the Rep. Renée told me i could cancel at all time( not true) i didn't want any contract and I was played into signing a 5 year contrat telling me it was only a price agreement. This is fraud! Do not go with this company. I never got a copy of the contract. They told me to take a picture with my phone…. Wow…. Very professional. Stay away
I have read every one of these reviews and they are all VERY ACCURATE! They deceitfully lock you into a contract without ever stating it is a 5 year contract. (Read small print - they surely will not inform you ahead of time) We have been charged many times for products not received or replaced. They also are charging us for replacing products during Covid-19 while we are not even open for business. Get your supplies at BJ's wholesale or similar. You can get your own logo mat for $150.00 somewhere else. They wont let you out of their shady contract no matter what. If you die, they will likely come after your next of kin. I encourage all to file complaints with the BBB if unsatisfied. (Which I assume is probably 50% of their current customers)
Our company is getting all new uniforms, issue is, they took all our old uniforms before they had all new to replace them with. 2.5 months and some of us are still without shirts. Been told we're getting loaners, that has still not happened.
I have no service. Got transferred from one of my companies locations to another. I turned in clothes to be cleaned and get none back. It took 3 months to get me new pants. And they have lost my 5 of my shirts. The Cintas driver said he is getting me new uniforms instead of getting uniforms transferred. I turned in some clothes they went to the other location that I used to work at. My manager called them and they said they will handle the transfer. It's been 4 weeks no clothes, no service. I have been washing the clothes I have left. If I give them the uniforms I have left I'm scared I will not get them back. No service. I not begging or asking them for clothes. It's one thing to have bad service I'm not even getting that I getting "NO SERVICE. Marty from United Rentals Starkville, MS.
Can't deliver on what is promised and lies when the contact you face to face. They are a scam. Avoid them at all costs and run the other way. They will not bring you the things they say the are delivering and still charge you for them. They use 3rd party contractors for things they can't get and when that vendor doesn't deliver what they are supposed to they don't credit you for things that aren't there. They have sneaky contract terms and they raise their prices a lot without any notice. Horrible.
Answer: TRY ANYONE ELSE! You don't want to work with Cintas unless you want to be locked into 5 year contracts that renew automatically without notice. They increase costs without approval, don't provide services they bill for...
Answer: We have to remember that companies are operated by people and sometimes the people don't have the company's best interest at heart. There are some cities for all companies where there is great service and also, there are cities where bad service is the norm. The difference is the managers and whether they care or not. I suggest you find and uniform and linen managed services company such as, "Uniform Bright", who can help you with any needs you may have. There specialty is helping to prematurely and legally cancel a contract, negotiating a new one, taking you out to bid, historical bill analysis, managed services & an expert witness in the event of court or arbitration. They are not lawyers but they know how the industry works and can help you to navigate the pitfalls that are associated with deceptive practices and one-sided agreements. If dealing with a uniform and linen rental company has been a headache for you and you no longer want to deal with them, you should talk with your lawyer or hire an expert.
Answer: They do not offer an incentive for buying a lot of products. They do give an incentive when you sign on and when you renew.
Answer: Good Luck, they don't care about their customers, let alone non-customers. Avoid them whenever possible. Just consider yourself lucky you aren't stuck in a contract with them.
Cintas has a rating of 1.4 stars from 123 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Cintas most frequently mention year contract, customer service and sales rep. Cintas ranks 56th among Uniforms sites.
Business owners shouldn't be subject to poor quality & service while being locked in a contract. Getting a managed service & contract negotiation expert will put you in a better bargaining position.
