Very smooth experience - I called their NYC office and a live, knowledgeable person walked me through their process and controls in detail. I was hesitant about buying a watch online, but their team member was very clear with everything. The end purchase was prompt and accurate to the description.
This is my 3rd transaction in C24 (TR-*******), the first 2 went fine as the sellers knew what they were doing but the 3rd one is a mess and I am currently 1000 euros out of pocket because the seller "Philippe Pflieger" was unable to send watch correctly. Watch was purchase with value of 1000 euros, seller decided to send and declare with an insurance value of 2000 euros. This resulted in me getting a bill for 400 euros import fees instead of 200 euros import fees. Seller has admitted his mistake but then expected me to pay the 400 euros and then claim back the difference myself. The seller then recalled the watch and it was returned to him, verified on chronopost tracking, but I am still waiting for my refund from C24. I have contacted C24, shown then proof from the seller of his mistake but all I have recieved so far is automated replies about customs fees being required to be paid, C24 has no involvement in this and cannot help.
To summise, if you deal with a good seller everything will be fine, If you have any issues or problems then dont count on any support from C24 to resolve the issue, they have got their money, they have no further interest in assisting with any problems.
1000 euros out of pocket, no watch and nothing from chrono24, deal on their site at your own risk.

Watch has been returned, seller has confirmed return, I complete a form saying I accepted refund 1 week ago, still no refund received. Seller has now relisted watch on Chrono24 but they still refuse to refund money telling me to 'be patient'

Chrono24 have now replied again 'the law doesn't allow us to pay out without the consent of the private seller'. Again no confirmation of any date of money being refunded, not holding my breath.
