When I decided to purchase a Rolex, Chrono24 was the best place to make my purchase. After researching the current Rolex market, Chrono24 offered the best selection to choose from at great pricing.
I never had a worse transaction. I purchased 3 watches from Chrono24.
Two of the three watches were not as advertised.
One watch was completely defective, as it had a hole in the side of the case.
The second watch didn't come with the papers that was listed in the description. I'm not even certain if this watch is authentic.
Just 2 or 3 days after purchasing I started jumping through Chrono24's hoops for a whole month! They concluded that will not take the watches back. Chrono24 and their support team was no help and is beyond $#*!ty. After working with AMEX I received my money back with no help from Chrono24. I will never use this platform again, and I hope they go bankrupt for their dishonest sales practice and bad business.

Sometimes everything goes fine. All the questions were answered, and the service was fine, as it should be. It's probably easier to do a review when one has a complaint, but fortunately that wasn't the case here.

Of course spending $40k on a watch over the internet can be a very anxious experience. But I pulled the plug, and went for it; and glad I did! It was really easy, and everything went as described. So, if I'm in the market again, I will definitely consider Chrono24
I was able to locate an often hard-to-find watch, from a reputable dealer with whom I had one of the smoothest retail transactions I ever had. Ordering and payment were exceptionally east and fast. I already have a wish list on the site and will absolutely consider using Chrono24 again.

The only issue I have, is that no one is available to chat with me on Saturday or Sunday.
I understand their business model, but a simple chat option (outside of normal 9-5 business hours) could alleviate my concerns.
In my case, I was unsure of the sales tax (is it my State or the selling State's rate) and as I clicked thru the order, boom, it became and order that had to be canceled. Luckily, the receiving dealer was online and responded immediately. I will definitely be buying on Chrono24.
It was very hard to get any resolution when a watch i received did not work, i'm still stuck with a non-functioning watch.
Would have given it a five but the ID authentication aspect was a little wonky. It wasn't clear if it needed one or both sides of the ID. I submitted multiple photos of the front just to meet the system "requirement"
I was able to purchased the Rolex dial with several counter offer from the seller and we finally settled the sale.
Overall, Chrono24 is a great place to purchase a Watch. However, I do not believe they hold dealers to a high enough standard. I have tried to purchase two Rolexes in the past 30 days one was a complete bust and was refunded the other did not match the dealers description perfectly, I have purchased other watches through Chrono24 and it has been excellent. I believe they need to pay better attention to the dealers selling higher end watches.

Will use the site again. The merchant I worked with had great communication and item came as described. The 14 day escrow policy gave me peace of mind that if I didn't like the watch or the condition of the watch I could return it with no issues.

I've had several buying and selling experiences through Chrono24 that have all been positive. The only thing that kept me from giving five stars was I was not aware that the billing was all done in Germany. I'm not sure if that's changed or if I just didn't notice it before but if you are not careful, you will get charged a very hefty international transaction fee by your bank! That said, just make sure you use a card or an account that does not charge this fee and everything else is incredible!
