After booking a room for two nights through choosearoom, we tried to cancel the second night. Though we called within the allotted time to cancel the second night they refused to cancel and refund the second night. What was really the kicker is finding out we were charged $100 more per night than the hotel charged for their most expensive room. Don't use this site! It is a rip-off!

First time iam writing this. I have choose a room find me a place for my family Vacation trip and they book me on hollywood resort in hollywood FL. I dont know how to start with this hotel carpet smell so bad bathroom are dirty and place is not clean. After i saw all that i call choosea room to tell them i wasnt staying there and i want my money back. Choose a room is making all type of excuses for not give me my money back. Please dont work with the worst company to work with.

If you stay here and get a rear room you will be facing a sewage treatment plant 100 ft,
Away. Also they don, t mention they are under construction by a roofing company named
Rcs. The workers are non us and backed a piece of equipment into my car damageing it
I contacted the rcs field rep. Named TODD he said quote " you can, t prove we did it, so
Its on to litagation in court or eat the damages.

Found this site which said no extra charges. Booked a room at a Red Roof Inn. When I received my folio from the Red Roof inn my charge was for $55.93) Choose a Room charged me $22.28 more than the motel price. When I contacted both Choose a Room and Red Roof I received absolutely no satisfaction. Red Roof told me there was nothing they could do and my issue was with their contractor Choose a Room. Will never deal with these two companies again.

Booked and paid for 2 rooms one month in advance and received a confirmation from ChooseARoom. Received a call 2 hours before I was going to check in and was told, they did not have my rooms. Had to find another hotel and ended up 50 miles from my destination. I will never use ChooseARoom again. Was told by the Hamption Inn ChooseARoom did not turn in my reservation until the day I was to arrive and they were booked solid.

Booked the room for June reservation said march called for them to fix it guarenteed they would fix it, GUESS WHAT no fixed called again getting the run around they quickly took my money but no room! No empathy no fixing just a runaround!

I cancelled my reservation about 10 minutes after making it. They said they sent a cancellation email to my email, but they didn't. I called twice more that same night requesting a cancellation email and was told it takes two hours. I got up the next morning to check and still no email. I called my credit card company to stop the payment and they said they couldn't do anything until they tried to post it and then I would have to file a dispute. Very frustrating.

Absolute total rip-off. When I did a google search for a specific hotel, this website came up making me think I was booking with the hotels online booking method. Big mistake. Paid 15% more than if I would have booked directly with the hotel and then they would not let me cancel.
Stay away and save money... or book with them and throw money away!

HORRIBLE! I WAS HUNG UP ON 4 TIMES! I booked a suite with them for a Hyatt in Orlando. First of all, they represented themselves as Hyatt and i had no idea that i was booking through a third party; very deceptive. Second, they booked me a suite (upgrade) and when i called the hotel the next day they said i only have a regular room booked. I reviewed my confirmation email & it specifically said VIP room. When i asked the hotel direct whether there are more than 1 VIP rooms, they said no, just the one. So i called back Getaroom.com to ask them about my reservation and what they told me was that they called to confirm and the hotel said it was only a regular room. When asked what they will do for me, they said they can cancel the reservation. Not to mention when i tried booking the next day, the rates went up 30%. Seriously? When i told them i want them to guarantee the reservation they told me they would transfer me to a supervisor. I was then hung up on. I CALLED BACK 3 MORE TIMES AND EACH TIME I WAS HUNG UP. I WAS HUNG UP ON 4 TIMES. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER SEEN SUCH A COMPANY. STAY AWAY!

Horrible website! No need to ever use this site! I booked a room for a business trip months in advance. I had to cancel the trip one month before the travel dates. This web site charged me one nights fees on a five night stay. I've never been charged so much from ANY site I've used in the past. I'll never use this site again and I don't recommend you do either!

Wish I'd googled this outfit before I booked a hotel room. Total scam artists--worst customer service I've ever experienced. Tried to cancel a hotel room several minutes after I made it, but they wouldn't refund me (3 days ahead of the hotel dates-so plenty of time for them to rebook). They also immediately charged my credit card for the full amount, even though their "Pay Later Policy" explicitly says you won't be charged until after you checkout of your hotel. I asked to talk to supervisor after supervisor and was denied any real help or a refund. Please learn from my costly mistake--do not do business with this company.

This place booked me a room for 3 nights and charged me 64.56
More than what it would of cost me direct from the hotel When I
Contacted there customer service they refused to give me a refund.
Do not use there service you get a better deal going direct to the hotel.

Do not use this site! Needed to book a hotel in Ohio for a funeral and got sent to this site and not the actual hotels site and I almost got screwed. Hours on hold, tried charging my card same time I was booking, which hotels normally don't do. Got disconnected twice. Thank god my card didn't go through otherwise I would have gotten screwed. Finally got a hold of hotel I was trying to book through and got a cheaper rate and it took 5 mins. Definitely a scam!

I started out on the hotel's website and somehow ended up with "choose a room" Without realizing it, I booked the hotel room but it was way more expensive and it was for the wrong night! I canceled immediately but the amount was still charged to my credit card. After spending an hour on the phone getting the run-around I am still being stuck with the bill.

At one point, the representative from choose a room told me I had to call the hotel but when I asked him if the hotel would refund my money he had no answer.

The cancellation policy, which is only available after you book, shows that you get a full refund if you cancel by 12:01 am of the day that you booked. I reserved the room at 5pm so there is no way I could have canceled for a full refund. Any other cancellations are subject to a charge.

It's bogus!

BE CAREFUL! Thought we were booking directly with hotel, but were apparently diverted to this site for "reservations." Needed to cancel 24 hours in advance which is the hotel's cancellation policy BUT not the policy of this "choose a room" It was at this point that we realized that we had even booked though them and not the hotel. The hotel was already paid and there is NO REFUND! -0 score!

Tip for consumers:
Never use this site!

Horrible, horrible service! They are absolutely no help when calling their customer service number. I was cut off on three separate occasions. I'm certain they were simply hanging up on me.

When I reported this to hotel, the hotel called me back telling me they had succeeded in cancelling the reservation. I still got charged for the room.

Do NOT use this website.

Thought I was calling the hotel directly to make a reservation. It was very hard to understand the person on the phone but after confirmation of all my information, I thought I was all set. I then waited for my email confirmation so I could make sure my dates were correct. I never got an email so called the next day. After a bit of a run around, I was told that my reservation was for the same night I called... what? I explained that that was incorrect and was put on hold many times. They said I wouldn't be refunded because I checked out late. What? I was never there! Long story short... I was able to cancel my credit card for fraudulent charges. Upon further investigation, not only did they try to charge me for one wrong reservation but another as well. Both two months apart and neither one was the original date I tried to reserve. These people are scary!

Just had the WORST WORST WORST experience ever. Somehow I was diverted to ChooseARoom.com from the Hilton site. I've never had a worse experience. 40 minutes to make a reservation and called Hilton to find out that ChooseARoom overcharged me. Got new reservations at Hilton. Called ChooseARoom back. Got disconnected four times. Finally got through. Took 45 minutes to cancel. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

BE CAREFUL! Thought I called hotel directly and booking directly with hotel, but was apparently diverted online to this site for reservations.
They did not honor initial pricing! Gave a lame excuse, I but thought it was due to lack of that particular low ball room. When I got to hotel and wanted to add a day - they couldn't due to nature of BookaRoom reservation. When I checked out, I wasn't given a receipt - again the desk said contact the online vendor. I smell a rat. DO NOT USE this website.

We made a reservation at 12:45 pm. 35% cheaper at the hotel. Called back ten minutes later and could not cancel reservation. We're told we had to call by 12:00 noon to cancel... we explained that meant we would have to cancel 45 minutes BEFORE we made the reservation! After talking to three different people, we called our bank to cancel the transaction. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

I have been a HHonors member for many years. I have always booked through Hilton. When I called (I thought Hilton reservations) to make a Hilton Reservation at a specific facility in Cleveland last week- somehow I ended up talking to a person who pretended to be a Hilton reservation person. Later on I realized that I had NOT made my reservation through Hilton but through ChooseARoom.com. The agent pretended to be a Hilton reservation person. I kept insisting that he looked up my profile through my HHonors membership so that I did not have to give him my address and other details. He insisted that it was required, so I did although it sounded suspicious. I told him that I get discounted rates based on Hilton's deal with the corporation I worked for. He insisted discounted rate rooms were sold out and only 1 smoking room was available. I told him I was not interested in the smoking room and will call another hotel. He asked me to wait a few seconds and told me he found non-smoking room and reserved it for me. Later when I went to the Hilton Hotel desk I was informed that they need my card for incidentals only since the hotel room had already been paid for to the agency. Sounds like after many, many years of staying at Hilton hotels, I got scammed, because the Hotel told me they had several rooms available.

Thought I was calling Hilton- but somehow I was connected to Choosearoom. Needed a suite for 5 people. After a received a confirmation- it was for a suite but for 2 people. Literally, talked to 6 different agents which took over 3 hours. Same script-: If I wanted to change the reservation- it would cost more" No - I did not want to change reservations- I wanted them to correct the original reservations. The first agent- just said to not tell the hotel there were 5 guest. I ask for a supervisor and all they would tell me is that the "super" team would review the original call. Never got it resolved and finally canceled. Horrible customer service. I am just thankful that I noticed the mistake before I got to New York.

Horrible! A Julio Pinto claimed to be a supervisor and when I called back to inquire the status of my refund, the person who assisted me assured me there was no supervisor by that name. #jerk shady to the max!

They booked us a hotel that was out of business. When we got there it was midnight and they didn't help us find another hotel. They told us they were going to refund our money but they never did. Incompetents and thefts!
