I started out on the hotel's website and somehow ended up with "choose a room" Without realizing it, I booked the hotel room but it was way more expensive and it was for the wrong night! I canceled immediately but the amount was still charged to my credit card. After spending an hour on the phone getting the run-around I am still being stuck with the bill.
At one point, the representative from choose a room told me I had to call the hotel but when I asked him if the hotel would refund my money he had no answer.
The cancellation policy, which is only available after you book, shows that you get a full refund if you cancel by 12:01 am of the day that you booked. I reserved the room at 5pm so there is no way I could have canceled for a full refund. Any other cancellations are subject to a charge.
It's bogus!
