Yup your not the only one having online issues! This is ridiculous I wish Carter's sold school uniforms not impressed to say the least! Money taken out then put back in. Waited 30 min for someone to answer customer service and then she said it takes 10 days to process the order!
This is now my second feedback! I place my first order online and when checking out, delivery said Saturday, Nov. 12! Then I get an email from the children's place that it was now arriving Monday, Nov. 14. Did the online chat and it was horrible! They did absolutely nothing! So, Monday came and went and still no package. Then get an email saying delivery by Tuesday, Nov 15! Still nothing. Called the customer service number this time and spoke to Andrea, told her what was happening, she put me on hold for over 5 mins, came back and said we can't do anything sorry! WTH?! How can you still be in business?! I will never shop here again and have told everyone I know that would even think about shopping here, DO NOT! I guess my first mistake was not reading the previous reviews left!
Placed an order on 12/10 and 11 days later it still has not shipped. I waited 30 minutes on the phone with customer service and never got through to anyone. I emailed customer service and it came back failure to deliver as if their inbox was full. Now Im wondering if i paid for something i will never receive. These were supposed to be Christmas presents. I hope that all of these negative reviews cost them a lot of business so they will start treating their customers better.
Placed one order for my grandsons and received it promptly. The second however was cancelled with no explanation. Sounds like I might as well kiss it goodbye and hope they don't take the money out of my account. Do not recommend.
Have been calling customer service for the past three days. Call disconnects after saying to try my call again later due to high call volume. I have been waiting for an order for 21 days. Status on site just says "ready to go." So frustrating. They will be losing a ton of business from loyal Children's Place customers if they do not get their shipping and customer service issues resolved!
I've come to realise that Children's Place only cater to a certain height. To get the desired length you have to get a bigger size and that should never be. Not every child is the same height. You have tall children out there and they have to rememeber that. I recentlypurchased a jeans for my 10 year old son and I'm not pleased with it at all. It was the right size but the length was horrible. Fitted him like a capri and it was supposed to be a straight slim fit jeans. He looked ridiculous. Will never order long jeans again from here.
I had a good experience in 2024 buying basic staples for my toddler. They always have 30% off plus they give you $10 off $20 coupons PLUS $5 off coupons if you have an account. I ended up spending $150 (3 online purchases, 2 were shipped to a nearby store for an additional 20% off, and I bought 2 more cute shirts and shorts in the store). I think I bought 2 years worth of clothes. Each shirt and leggings ended up being about $3, sweatshirts were roughly $7, and dresses/rompers were about $5-6 a piece. I think this was a good deal for my toddler. I'm very happy with my 4 purchases.
I order all the time from this site, nice clothes, fast free shipping on ANY item. Their coupon's you get as rewards however are a laugh, soon as you are able to use the bucks they jack the prices on everything even sale items so your really not saving anything lol.
They sent wrong item completely, I called and they took care of it right away, so good customer service.
I shopped a few times on this website and always happy. Clothing is a great deal and sizes are not understated. All online shopper moms would agree that companies tend to make child sizes too small in hopes a kid will outgrow it faster. Children's Place clothing is a right size. It does wear off rather fast, but what do you expect at this price.

The past few orders though have ALL had "unavailable" items, ironically when you check the website it still shows those items as available for purchase. Even more frustrating is their total LACK of caring/apology. Makes it even worse when you use rewards or a coupon as you lose out on that discount... Not impressed lately at all...
I ordered 17 items online last Friday using the standard shipping. I was really surprised, but not impressed that one of my items had been processed and shipped by Monday and received item on Wednesday! It seems to me that they are probably backed up with orders and may have to wait for more inventory to finish orders due to stores being closed! I expect a fairly long delay for the rest of my order, but I will change my rating to a 5 star if I get everything else by the end of next week!

Showed me what my new balance would be but when I checked out the 30% was not taken off. I emailed them immediately because their customer service center is closed on weekends. Gave them 5 days to respond... no answer. Called and they refuse to credit me back the difference. Told me they will give me a coupon for next time. There won't be a next time. I sent everything to my son directly because they live 2 hours away. Bought everything my grandson needs now because I was supposed to get 30% off. This is false advertising, they do not stand by their own advertisement. They told me to go return everything and repurchase it. I will return everything and never purchase anything from them again. Buyer beware!
I never had an issue with Children's Place until I ordered at the end of March 2021. I have always gotten my orders in a timely matter, but this order just seems to have disappeared who knows where. Did something recently change with this company because it's disturbing how many people this has seem to have happened to. I won't order from them anymore. I thought this use to be a legit trusted company, but not if they can't make sure people get the items they ordered and paid for.
I placed an order and after a month of not receiving it I started calling and emailing customer service. I was ignored every time. They will not answer their phone and do not respond to email. Since I paid thru PayPal I filed a dispute with them and they returned my money after children's place ignored them too. Children's place turned around and recharged my credit card I must have used at one time. Is that even legal? Certainly not ethical. Hope the $17 was worth it because I will never buy something from you sorry store again.
Calling customer service now - been waiting for over 30 minutes to report that an item was missing from my shipment (yes, it was on the packing list and I've been charged for it). They need a way to deal with these types of issues online if their call volume is really that high. I think my call has fallen in to the black hole. Hello, hello, hello... is anyone there!?
3 weeks after not getting my order I checked online to track it where it said damaged during delivery and sent back to sender. TCP did not even contact me to let me know this happened. I had to contact them and when I did they said I would have to create a new order and wait 2 more weeks for delivery. I asked if expedited shipping was possible since this takes us to 5 weeks post order and was told no. I have consistently ordered from this company online for 7 years but I will never spend another cent at this store again.
I placed two orders recently. I received the order confirmations by email, and the money held on my credit card for both orders. After a week with no shipping confirmation, I decided to call. But, every time I call customer service, the line is busy. I tried emailing customer service, but only received a generic email response saying that there is a high volume of emails so their response may be delayed.
Now, both of my orders appear to have been cancelled. There is no order history when I log into my Children's Place account, all of my rewards points that I've accrued are gone, and the money is no longer being held from my account. I think it's horrible that they can cancel orders without letting customers know why, or without offering any substitutions or discounts towards future orders, especially right before school starts when a lot of families are counting on these orders. Horrible customer service.
I've called and called and no answer. I'm left on hold for ever. They charged my card but I have no shipping info. So disappointed WON'T order from here again. They just lost a repeat customer because of their lack of service.
I had my debit card information stolen and used on their website. After contacting 2 separate people and being promised a refund from both of them I still have not received my money back. The first person I spoke with before the transaction posted even promised me the transaction would not be processed but cancelled and yet the money was still taken out of my account. Now some one is telling me it could take up to 2 months for a refund to be issued. Not to mention their customer service is clearly outsourced. Stay with companies that keep all aspects of the business inside the United States. It is worth it!

I have to say this was the worst experience I have ever had. Not helpful at all. They are reading from a script. Very robotic and not concerned with customer satisfaction. The supervisor was actually sighing at me. This is what happens when you outsource service. Will never shop at Children's Place again!
