I had just reordered my Wishes his cat food again. He had to have a special kind of cat food, that needed a prescription from his vet in order for me to buy it. Oh I'm telling you it wasn't easy to get I, had to get a prescription card then take that to the front of the store. Then take the food home and make sure that I reodered it pleanty ahead of time so I didn't run out of it. I, don't drive so that was another hang up to getting my cat his food.
But lucky for me I saw a something on- line about Chewy.com it was a life saver. No more having to make sure I could get a ride to the pet store or carry the prescription card on me. It even cost me less ordering it on line. Oh and then The on- line help I, received was great.
But now here comes the real reason i'm posting this review. Just this past week my cat Wishes passed away, I didn't know it would hurt so much to have him gone 13 years went by so fast. I had just opened his new bag of food when he passed away during the night. I didn't know how caring and amazingly kind a company could be I wasn't at all sure if I could return the bag of food because I had already opened it.
I honestly thought I would get a we're so sorry but since you opened the bag reply. But I didn't instead I received a condolence on my loss, plus a credit back on my card and all they asked that I do was to give the remaining amount of the bag to the closest animal shelter to me! So if I need anything pet related Chewy.com will always get my bussiness plus my never-ending thanks and recognition. Chewy.com you deserve 10 out of 10 stars!
Chewy.com is top notch! Ordering is quick and easy. Orders are always accurate. I love the autoship; it is so easy to manage and change! I ordered a dog food that did not agree with my dogs and they instructed me to donate it to rescue and allowed me to order another food. At Christmas we received a card that was personable and it really made me appreciate them even more. A friend on social media posted that she got a card in the mail of drawings of her 2 dogs and just a friendly thank you... WOW, who does this? -- CHEWY DOES THIS! They also comment on posts made to social media; another WOW! I will forever and always order my food from them! A personal touch goes a long way with me! I have multiple dogs (fosters and personal) and the ease is so appreciated!
Seems like this company will do just about anything to make their customers happy. Called them to return a dog bed I had for 6 weeksh. I hey told me to donate it to a dog shelter and gave me 10% off and n a new bed.
I can get my dog food cheaper at neighborhood Petsmart. While initial cost is $4 lower, add the shipping and it is more than what I would pay at my Petsmart. That is the regular and not sale price at Petsmart. I guess this is great for people who cannot get out or do not have a convenient pet store in their area or who regularly buy large quantities. Just not a good value for me.

They need to get rid of the 1-2 day advertisement. If i place an order on Sunday, i would expect it by Wednesday. And since i placed an order with two items, one came in on Wednesday but the other is not scheduled until Friday. They can say, they dont deliver on Monday or Tuesday, but its very misleading to say 1-2 days when it should be 1-2 day when the carrier company is doing deliveries. Will not order from this company again and cancelled auto ship on my other items.

I placed an order on 1 March 2017 and supposedly it was not shipped until 3 March, 2017 and it is now 6 March - Monday and I am still waiting. What happened to this fictional 1-2 day shipping? I spent $180.00 so I met the requirements for the free, 2-day shipping. I will continue to use one of the other pet food companies, I just thought this might be a little different. Their big mistake is using FedEx., who doesn't do home deliveries on Mondays. I called and was told I may receive my order on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

I tried Chewy.com and found that they have a great website, suburb customer service and offer a tremendous number of pet products. The major flaw in their system is that they use FedEx exclusively. I have had nothing but problems whenever I have had to rely on FedEx in the past. It is for this reason that I have cancelled my autoshipments with Chewy.com and am now looking for another company to purchase pet supplies.
"I ordered from Chewy.com and FedEx delivered it to the wrong house. (My wonderful neighbors kept the package and refused to give it back when the error was discovered--really nice.) Anyway, Chewy sent me a replacement order that arrived two days later, (even though it was no fault of theirs) and the customer service person was absolutely phenomenal-caring, helpful and friendly.
I also received a hand written postcard (even the address was handwritten--you NEVER see that any more!) a few weeks later thanking me for my business and encouraging me to call 24/7 with any questions, concerns, etc. The prices are spot -on and they often have discounts. To really see the essence of this company, I feel the need to share this story. A woman's dog passed away, shortly after she had ordered a large amount of dog food. She called Chewy to ask about an RMA to return the dog food. Not only did Chewy tell her to just donate the food to a local shelter, but they refunded her money, sent a heartfelt card, and flowers, too... Ordered over $100 worth of dog treats Tuesday (I use for training and urban mushing), and Fed Ex tracking said it had been delivered Thursday... it hadn't. Contacted Chewy Friday, and they offered to refund my money. I said no, I'd have to buy locally, and I'm almost out. This morning (Saturday) I got an e-mail; they've re-sent the entire order, at no charge to me, and it's already been shipped! They are just amazing.

Chewy is a pet supply service. The choices are awesome. The prices are even better. I have two large dogs. I ordered the Seresto flea collars for them. I priced them at several local pet stores where I live. They were priced anywhere from seventy to ninety dollars each. These collars are the best. They repel and kill fleas and ticks for eight months. They don't need to be taken off if my dogs go swimming. I bought two of them for fourth four dollars each. Two for less than the price of one at the local pet stores. Am definitely a return customer.

My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.

FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
