We booked and paid $303 for a flight from Louisville KY to Richmond VA on 3/21. Immediately after the 24-hour refund period, we received an email stating CheapOAir could not honor the $303 ticket price (that we already paid) and our new ticket price would be well over $700. That's more than double what we purchased and paid online. When we called, they said that it's all in the fine print and no refunds are given. So basically, CheapOAir is offering FAKE extremely low fares, taking payments for the fares, waiting until after your 24 hour full refund period, then emailing that they can't honor the fare purchased and we would have to pay the $700+. Clearly a SCAM. Most people will go ahead and pay the additional ticket cost since their initial money is tied up with them and non-refundable. Additionally, customer service is outsourced and you will be unable to understand what they are saying, adding to the frustration. SCAM SCAM SCAM - DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHEAPOAIR!
I have been contacted twice since i completed my booking, when i book a flight i dont want to be stressed out by people contacting me telling me they couldnt reserve my already paid for and reserved seats, or some other kind of scammy crap trying to sell me insurance and other products
The ticket prices are not discounted as i saw the same price on multiple websites so its not worth the extra hassle
I have over 90,000 on rewards points, and no body was able to help me apply it to my last booking. I contacted the customer service/ support and they just give you a scripted answer which I told them many times don't work.
I don't know why there is a reward when you can never redeem it for anything.
Reward points are only valid towards the service fee it does not go towards the airline ticket cost. You log into your account and where it says do you want to redeem click there and there you will use the availability page and at the end it will ask if you want to redeem and it will use the points towards the fees.
Once i selected my flight i just want to pay for it and be done. It takes several minutes to say I don't want to select seats, i don't want to pay for baggage, i don't want to book a hotel, i don't want to rent a car, i don't want to schedule a pick-up...it is ridiculous that i can't just pay and be done. With this process i am more likely to use another provider to find a place that is less of a hassle
Customer support is wavering when requesting changes and even today I was being given different prices much higher when speaking with customer service rather than booking on my own
When I had trouble with my credit card, I was notified by you as to the issue. My cc issues were resolved and in a chat you asked whether I wanted to add the outstanding seat and travel insurance fee. I said no. It was deducted anyway. It was no big deal, but it seemed that one hand didn't know what the other was doing.
Courteous kind service. Tickets were always there for me. I had a few times where my tickets were lost and the ticket counter lady didn't have a problem finding it
The agent that assisted me to get this booking was very courteous & knowledgeable of the itinerary I desired. I was able to book the flight patterns I needed for the trip which was a plus for me. Thank you very much for your patience & keep up the great work.
It appears that hotel options of changed on this site, they did not meet the expectations and budget i had prepared for. A lot of the brands i've accustomed to were not in my search options this time around. Previously, i enjoyed shopping with this site where i'd book great package deals for both flight and hotel.
Price is usually more than going with airline directly. It's hit or miss. If you accumulate bonus points you can only use a certain amount of your points, what's the point (no pun intended) in that?
I hate theives. Your company is one of the biggest theives I've ever seen. I was in the process of buying tickets and the price changed right after I purchased. That makes you theives.
Thank you for your feedback. People all over the world are able to go onto their computers and phones and look for the same limited seats on any given flight. It can be easy to see how fares and even flights can sell out at any time. That is why it is a standard in the airline industry, no matter if you purchase tickets through the airline, an online website or a local travel agency, fares are never guaranteed until the ticket is issued. We regret any inconvenience or frustration.

I always book through CheapOair, I always get to review multiple airline prices and trips and have never had any issues with my tickets! This is a great app to use if you want easy and inexpensive trip options all in one place!
IT IS GREAT! But Your company needs to renovate various option system.Because boarding pass is must option. I think this option should be included in basic option.
And after finishing booking, modification process is not easy. Especially, Checked baggage option should be displayed in your app.
I was so nervous that I won't be able to find reasonable prices of flights.

We couldn't travel to Vietnam because we didn't know we needed to buy a visa! I wish CheapOair had a system to notify travelers if they need a visa, so we could purchase it directly through CheapOair.
I have always had a good experience with Cheap- o, what they state is what is charged, no last minute change or anything of that nature. Prices are good.
I loved the prompts and process involved in booking. My experience was perfect i loved the whole process. However, i didn't like the stage where i was informed to select a seat which was charged separately from initial bill which was issued and i had already paid.
It's quick to book the flight, anytime. The only problem I had was that, as soon as you finished to book the flight, you can't upgrade anything without paying an additional fee.
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
