I had a booking to Ukraine and back. When I already been in Ukraine, I had a e- mail from CheapOair that my air company (Lufthansa) changed the my time of flight. I agreed, as it was 35 min earlier for departure. But a day late I had an another e- mail, explaining that my returning flight is postponed in one week. I cannot accept this porpoise, as I had to be back earlier and might be fired if I am not on my work on time. And my name was not in the list of the passengers when I have to return to Ukraine! I was left unprotected and ignored in the foreign country without of any changes to survive! Fortunately, I had a phone and was able to connect with my sun- in law, who is the lawyer and he contacted with Lufthansa, urging for help and warning the legal action may take a place. Only due to understanding and professionalism of Lufthansa manager, they issued me the new ticket and gave me the chance to return to my home. I feel very unsafe to have any deal with CheapOair and advice anyone to avoid any deal with this company if they do not want the have the real trouble in their travel.

I don't believe my booking has been paid for due to not coming out of my bank. But according to online help, it is paid. I am worried that I will lose my reservations when your company finally realizes that you have not been paid!

So far it has been very easy to get my flights booked but at every turn there is an email or a phone call trying to upsell me something else. A bit annoying.

Chose to CHAT with agent about false information on my itinerary. Was put on hold 7 or more times after first agent tried to help, to no avail. Total time on phone was nearly TWO hours to resolve this. No way to accept or decline the time change in itinerary which you require. Also charged $35 extra for seating, yet form says I have no right to choose seating. Also charged large "post booking" fee. What's THAT?

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
