We booked and paid $303 for a flight from Louisville KY to Richmond VA on 3/21. Immediately after the 24-hour refund period, we received an email stating CheapOAir could not honor the $303 ticket price (that we already paid) and our new ticket price would be well over $700. That's more than double what we purchased and paid online. When we called, they said that it's all in the fine print and no refunds are given. So basically, CheapOAir is offering FAKE extremely low fares, taking payments for the fares, waiting until after your 24 hour full refund period, then emailing that they can't honor the fare purchased and we would have to pay the $700+. Clearly a SCAM. Most people will go ahead and pay the additional ticket cost since their initial money is tied up with them and non-refundable. Additionally, customer service is outsourced and you will be unable to understand what they are saying, adding to the frustration. SCAM SCAM SCAM - DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHEAPOAIR!

In 2023 I booked a flight to the Philippines visiting my wife. I wanted my youngest daughter to see her new mom for the first time. I booked her a ticket too and looked forward to having a good time.My daughter has bad anxiety and depression.She got sick before the flight snd couldn't go on the plane. When I asked for a refund of the ticket it was denied. After couple of email exchanges they offered a refund if I have a doctors note. I brought one snd they offered a voucher to my daughter's name (12 years old) valid for a year. No refund.My daughter obviously won't fly alone and so they force you to buy another ticket within a year right? Crooks
This reservation is from 2 years ago. Delta airlines is the airline and they determined the document requested was not sufficient or the reason for not wanting to travel for a refund. They offered a future credit, as the booking agent it is not upto us or do we have the authority to refund a ticket that is not refundable.
CheepOair is really "cheap" company. Our flight (Orlando-Toronto, Booking #: *******)was cancelled by WestJet Airlines and when I called to CheepOair their representative told me that our refund would be $451.26. After our conversation I got an email that our refund would be $395.74. Soon I've got another email where Third refund was $234.86
The day before yesterday I spoke with company's representative (Werner). He told me that our refund would be $290.38 and then we'll get a refund for the seats and baggage. Yesterday I got another email where Fouth refund was $315.24
We are retired senior citizens (77 & 79 years old). My wife recently had 2 very serious operations (hip replacement) and I have history of heart attack.
I think this is a real mockery of the elderly people. Mr. Werner promised to send all the details of the refund by his company, but he never kept his word.
I would like to remind you that we did not cancel our flight, the airline did.
Why should we pay twice for the seats, baggage, service fees and other expenses?

Please prevent yourself from being robbed for this fac*king 3rd party air flight's booking company. They made me pay practically twice ( $2,900 USD) a booking price. I tried to cancelled in advance before my trip one of the two bookings charged, but their policy cancelations are made to steal customers money legally, if try to call Custumer Service they start trasferinng you with different people and none knows anything leaving you on hold for so long. In fact, they're schammers. Unfortunately, there isn't a choice to rate CheapOair with a "0"

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!

We have reviewed the reservation for both the flights and the car reservation. We do not see that you called us in regards to a flight reservation that you didn't make and wanted a refund or to make a change, perhaps that was done with the airline directly. As for the car, we show you didn't pick up the car due to them requesting a deposit from you in which you didn't want to accept so you didn't pick up the car. We spoke with Eurpecar and they refused a refund due to it being non refundable, and the policy does state you may be subject to a deposit. As a travel agency we have no control over the individual car companies policies. Perhaps reaching out to the car agency directly they may offer some type of recourse.
