I have bought 7 tickets this year for myself, my mother, my wife and 3 children from cheapfareguru. They have cancelled my tickets several times, set new travel times, charged my card without my knowledge or approval. I only realized this happened after I noticed the charges reflecting on my statement then I contacted them. The travel dates are in November and December and am awaiting for them to hang themselves more tampering with my itinerary and funds. The customer service are not polite at all, not willing to help or understand and basically give you a dead end which only leaves you with annoyance, anger, loss of funds and regret ever dealing with them as a travel agency. I have contacted several Attorneys in Los Angeles through legal benefits provided through my employer and is awaiting review. I advice all the individuals in numbers that similar incidents happen to please do not let it slip through the cracks. They have done this too long since 2001 so its time to end this and Cheapfareguru which is contradictory to their name! America is way past this kind of business ethics. I would give a zero rating but there's no zero.

This really is a scam travel site. Maybe you'll be one of probably a few lucky ones to find a flight less than what booking direct with an airline is, but should there be ANY changes they will bleed your wallet. All types of hidden fees that are not always stated on their website. Agency booking fees, cancellation fees, rerouting fees, reissuing fees, travel insurance that is worthless. Should you manage to get through to the India customer service dept. you will be told different amounts of what the additional fees are when attempting to rebook with a credit. They are not transparent in their rebooking confirmations as they do not show a break down of the fees. Then they'll show an amount different from what they just quoted you on the phone. Brace yourself because then you'll have to start the phone call process again to clarify and correct. In short, cancel, reissue and reroute fees totaled over $200 for a domestic flight on SWA. Stay away from this site!

They sold me ticket form Orlando FL to London with British airways. I arrived two hours before flight to find out that British airways closed their counter some time ago and they are not operating off Orlando. I went to security of the Orlando airport who run some staff on computer and told me that this is fraud. There was no fligts from Orlando to London that day ever scheduled even with other carriers. I called d customer service they told me to call airline and hang up the phone. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PEOPLE they apparently operating from outside USA and they pray on money creating fake reservations

I purchased tickets at 10:45am. Found cheaper tickets at 11:20am. I called customer support to only find out I would be charged $50 fee for canceling IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. Mind you it is $10 cheaper with the actual airline. This is unacceptable and misleading. I will NOT use this company NOR will I recommend this company to anyone. On my receipt, it clearly reflects $10 booking fee; however, the company is in need of a profit at my expense.

I booked a flight on this site, and after about 5 minutes realized I had made a mistake. I called to cancel or change my reservation and was told I have to call back after 9 am. I am at work call at 9:10 am I am told I will be charged 50$ for not calling before the ticket was issued. Not only did the site say free cancelations with in 24 hours But was told I could not cancel till after 9am. Went round and around and around with them till I said screw it and agreed to pay the 50$ and I would have a credit to book another fight. While booking another flight I was told I am being charged 60$ fee for rebooking This site is robbing people

Hidden Fees

Read the fine print carefully. Without notice, I was charged $75.00 per person for flight schedule changes made by the arline. They called it a "re-ticketing fee"". So they typed in a 5min flught change to one flight and charged me $150. For a change made to one piece if paper with two names on it. So it was per person. I I wish I had read the reviews about thurs rip off company before I purchased my tickets as they arw bin refundable!

Reasons not to buy from here: 1) customer service is crap - Service reps are impossible to understand due to accent. When I politely said "pardon me" he would reply in a very frustrated tone. 2) long wait to finally complete transaction - It took at least 45 minutes for a customer service response on the computer only for them to say we'll call, then wait another 30 minutes. They call and then say they want to do a 3 way call to verify your credit card number. While on the phone with the credit card company they loose the connection. We had to start again! 3) pressured to sign an agreement they email while on 3 way call so no time to read - I come to find out that if I at any time have a dispute I agreed to waive my right to a challenge through the credit card company. 4) they add on a $19 BS fee - So I actually saw the same flight for $19 less on Kayak and they don't pull all the crap that this company does.Go elsewhere since there are so many other sites. I will never book from here again!

I bought 2 roundtrip flight tickets in Dec 2019 with traveling insurance(booking ID *******982), the returning flight tickets (Apr 2020) were cancelled by the carrier due to Covid 19. So I called, and the agent told me he would put the balance as a voucher so i can use to place other tickets later on Cheapfareguru. I waited and wait for months yet no such email of vouchers were sent to me.

So I called several times again, and was told to wait. Until October 2020, an agent called me, and said that he would initiate a request for the refund back to my credit card, but he would need a fee of $150/ticket(?). After that long wait, i just want my money back and get it over with, so I agree to his suggestion and let him charge my account. Agent said I should have receive my refund back in 4- 6 weeks. Well, guess what, his supplemental charge ($300) happened immediately, yet my refund was nowhere in sign.

As of today, May 2021, after countless calls, emails, website support form... I still don't get my refund, and they avoiding. Keep getting the "We're sorry for your inconvenience and We'll look into it".

So on total i suffer a lost of $1000 (for 2 returning tickets), and $300(for the additional charge to get the $1000 refund to my cc).
This company is a rip-off.

Was on hold the FIRST time for 53 minutes and spoke to a employee very hard to understand but did say call the airlines and HUNG UP! Called again (another 50 minutes later) and unfortunately for me I ended up with the same person Charlie #198! Once again didn't get anywhere. WILL NEVER BUY AIRLINE TICKETS HERE AGAIN!

Canceled my flights because of Covid I was told no refund, but I could rebook flights up to one year from this date, OK but then I keep getting calls saying if I don't pay $50.00 ea. For tickets I will loose my 512.40 for the flights... WTF

If I can be able to give -10 star I would definitely do that to Cheapfareguru. The worst experience I have ever had. Don't trust their website because the information you see on it is not correct at all! I bought round trips tickets to Paris from LAX and have double checked several times on its website that the checked bag for both trips are free meaning it was included in the amount I have paid. However, when I was checking in at the airport in Paris, I was told that my checked bags are not included and I had to pay additional $200.00 for 2 bags for 2 people. This is ridiculous because I have taken a screenshot of the information stating on their website that it's FREE and showed them as proof in the email complaining to get my money back but they completely refused to understand and refused to take responsibility. Their customer service is super horrible they didn't even try to help the customers at all. So I lost $200.00 because I believed in what I have seen on their website saying the checked luggages are free and it's not. Please don't trust anything they claim on their website and don't buy any tickets from them because it can cause you to lose money like I did. Cheapfareguru is a liar! Please go buy tickets somewhere else!

I bought a ticket on February 4th to Istanbul and canceled it due to COVID19, and it was resolved.
You have all of my information and you used my personal information without my permission to purchase and made a fake ticket in the amount of $ 1118. 75 in the name of Rev Pro Eros Tour on september 8th. You provided all fabricated information. They stole my information and used my credit card without my authorization. This company was not trustworthy. They charged my credit card without my permission to pay their own debt due to pandemic COVID19. This company was not trustworthy.

Worst place I've ever booked through! To start I booked my tickets and never was told they would hold 3x the amount of my tickets for over a week. Then go to cancel during the time frame they gave and the customer service is plain awful. They are rude dont care to help and always say they will call back and never recieve the call back. They still have yet to help with my cancelation after multiple calls to multiple different people. I've tried to get ahold of the manager and they once again say they will call back. Worst service ever would never recommend to anyone

THE WORST

This search engine is the $#*!ing worst! First off, Cheap Fare Guru's 24/7 customer service phone # does not even work! So you do some digging and actually find a phone # that does. With this # you are placed on hold for HOURS only for someone to answer the phone, ask how they may help you, and instantaneously place you BACK on hold for HOURS! The BBB needs to shut this very shady business down! IMMEDIATELY! The $#*!ing worst!

My Google search for Frontier Airlines led me to CeapFareGuru — I thought I was at Frontier and found a flight. Only when I clicked CONFIRM did I realize I'd been tricked. Two hours of trying to cancel unsuccessful — I paid nearly $200 too much.

Bought a ticker on Jan 26th for flight on March 21 2020. Covid cause flight to be cancelled. Rebooked with them on Aug 6 for flight Oct 3 2020 and paid $198 rebooking fee. Called today as the flight doesn't exist. They offered to rebook on Oct 19 but no flight shows for that date either and the wanted another booking fee. These people are the worst of the worst!
