Stay away from this 3rd party booking site! Even if you pay for insurance to make sure you can rebook or get a refund, they WILL NOT do either of those things. They will tell you the airline is responsible and they stole your money. When the truth is it's the 3rd party's responsibility. They are beyond rude and clearly not an American company even if "Henry or Jeff" tell you they are in some of the worst broken English I've ever heard.

Stay away, do not book with these guys they are the worst booking agency. I changed my flight on the way to San Diego and they sent me the email telling me to say I agree so I did come to find out they sent me another email 30 min after that they had changed my return flight for a month after I was suppose to come back. I told them I said nothing about changing my return flight, they said I did and if I wanted to change it back to the original time and date I would have to pay the difference of $120. Not only did they not give me a full credit that made me pay almost for. Whole other ticket. Please safe your money and go else we're I'm sure anywhere I'd better then these guys. I will be filing with the bbb these people need to be investigated on this great scamming operation they have going on.

If you want to lose your patience, health and money please do business with this company. If you like yourself just a little bit, look elsewhere. If it looks too good to be true is because is not good.
After I book my fight ticket on Sunday at 11:28AM they cancel the tickets because they couldn't get hold of me. My shift at work stared on Monday at 6:15AM and ended at 5:45PM during my work I do not have access to my cell phone nor email. This company did not have the decency to wait for me to be available to confirm the details and just cancel my entire trip. Is this right? What kind of society are we building?
Can I give them a minus star they do not deserve even one star.

Do yourself a favor. DO NOT EVEN TRY booking with them. They are a bunch of scammers. I booked my flight using the online booking. They called me saying that the flight is no longer available and they want to changed it with additional charge. I was soo mad and totally cancel the booking. After few weeks i tried booking again thinking that im going to get a better result. But they called me again with the same excuse and wanting more money. I was so angry and screaming on the phone telling them to cancel my booking for the second time. SO NO MORE bull$#*!. THIS SITE IS A BIG SCAM.

Horrible travel agency

CheapFareGuru gave me the cheapest flights. I purchased them. They were horrible. I had layovers for days all over the place. A few months later, they arbitrarily made the flights worse (if that was possible... it was.). And, here it is... they made the return even worse, AND they charged me for the change that I never requested

Yeah. And to make matters worse, I was put on hold to be told that someone was going to call me back about it. Guess what? Yeah, no one called.

Paid extra for cancellation/changes and they told me that I could not change. Upon calling they told me that I only had 24 hrs. When I asked why I paid extra for cancellation they kept telling me only 24 hrs. I told them there was a 24 hr cancellation before the extra fee they just kept just saying 24 hrs. I wished I had looked at the reviews prior. NEVER AGAIN!

Booked a flight to Montreal Canada through Cheap Flight Guru.
A week after the booking I received a message that my flight itinerary has changed an i was asked to approve the changes (if not I could loose my reservation or not have a flight), which I did. I checked my credit card statement, Cheap flight guru tagged on $50 charge for reissuing a new ticket. Their reason is that they are using a 3rd party and this is what they charge them. I did not ask for a new itinerary or ticket

Am a sufferer. They changed my itinerary without my consent. I had a return flight from dhaka to JFK via abu dhabee. With a layover of 9 hours at abu dhabee which wish to spent of going out for visit to to grand mosque and Ferrari world. But they changed my flight time with a layover of 2 hrs, which is devastating to me and my wife.
I strongly urge and recommend to everybody not to make any deal with is fraud travel sight. Their customer service is stupid. They never answer when u call for solving a situation. So I warn everybody about this website.

CheapFareGuru is a ripoff!. They asked me for copies of my drivers license and credit card to confirm my reservation which I found strange. So I tried to cancel my reservations and was put on hold several times, then I was called back from two strange numbers not associated with ChepfareGuru, and when I tried to tell them I wanted to cancel the flights the operators hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. This happened 7 times in the space of 10 minutes. Then the last time I was able to speak with someone he claimed to not be able to hear me and said he will call me back which he did not as expected. This company's customer service agents are full of people from India and they are all scam artists and rude as hell. I will be filing a complaint with my Attorney General's Office against CheapFareGuru.

Cheap Fare Ripoff!

My Wife booked a flight to travel from Portland to Indiana to attend my father's funeral. The airline changed our return flight to include a leg in Las Vegas. Cheap Fare As^¥π÷÷€es charged us $150.00 for a flight change! We called Cheap $#*! and were told we had to contact the airline. The airline told us we had to contact the credit card company. We disputed the charge. Cheap Ripoff replied that " the charge was in accordance with their policy" STAY AWAY! RUN!

The Struggle continues. Two months ago I was left stranded without a ticket and had to purchase a different one directly from the airline after their incompetency. I finally got a refund offer from their rescheduling department (which was minuscule and they charge a $50 processing fee on top of everything else as per their policy). They informed me on July 15th that my refund was processed and they charged my credit card the processing fee. They also informed me that I would receive the refund in 2-4 weeks. It's been roughly 6 weeks and I've checked with my bank on several occasions but nothing has been refunded. I've never experienced such incompetency and would like this resolved as soon as possible so that I never have to deal with Gurufare again. Do yourself a favor and book directly with the airline or using a well known credible online travel booking engine.

My step-son had to re-book his flight from Colonbia after the original flight was canceled. Even though he did all the work of rebooting, these crooks charged us $75 for that without even notifying us that they were doing so.

I purchased a ticket and purchased a protection plan for change and cancellation saying I will be fully refunded. However, when I ask to cancel the ticket, they charge a fee for any reason and provided just the credit, no refund. They just want to deceive people by saying anything whenever they purchase the ticket and charge a fee when needed to be canceled. I have recorded the call with the representatives and planning to sue them.

Paid almost 900 bucks for tickets. Was told I had to change my flight and then they charged be an additional 150 as a reissuance fee. What kinda crap is that! They didn't even tell me before taking it out of my bank account. Called customer service and got hung up on. Called again and they said it was in the terms and conditions. I didn't change anything... THEYCAHNGED MY FLIGHT and then charged me and took it out without me knowing first. Such CRAP!

Don't use this company

Booked a one way ticket to Chicago. They say that you have 24hours to cancel! What they fail to tell you is that they charge you for cancelling! My flight was on United. United refunds your money when you cancel within the 24hrs! Without a cancellation fee! I than booked with United, and guest what I got it even cheaper than this dishonest company!

Stay aware from them! Unless you just want to give them your money. HORRIBLE to do this during the Covid pandemic. Shame on them!

Every thing about their services is just all about them, need to cancel for any reason, sick or dying, does not matter to them $100 fine per person, trying to use this canceled flight worst service to trying to make a reservation, have to go to their " credit dept " where they never answer or hang up on you, after serval attempts I got very upset over serval days ( just lose your patience!) I demanded to speak to a supervisor and finally got my way over priced flight, $800 credits minus the $200 fine for canceling I received a round trip to Miami fro Richmond, va that would have cost us about $350 for the two of us had we bought it elsewhere, they hang on to your money ( trying dealing direct with the airline -they said they have your money) a one year dead line to use and must use all of it at the next booking. Or lose it, just a awful experience-never never never use them again, you get sucked in for a so call deal which turned out NOT

The company is asking for a lot more money for new reservation after de airlines change my flight... after paid again extra $165 us dollars for new reservation the airline change again the date for travel... they toll me that they are no going to return my money and that I have to pay for another reservation,,, I need my money back because I can't travel the dates the airline gave me. And also because due to the virus I need my money to solve economics problems... If somebody can help me to recover my money including the exta $165 I paid when I did second reservation, please let me know what can I do. T
