11day befor flight found out my seats was canceled no refund was made and they charge extra $50 don't said why. There is no help, no customers service answer. Stay away from this criminal. They will take your money and hide. I give one star because there is not a picture with a dung.

The company is a fraud. Three weeks after making the reservation, the agency sent me a note that the airline slightly changed my flight schedule. I agreed with that in an email to Cheapflightguru. The following week this company charged my credit card for 20 dollars for that change. I complained to the agent that I did not request it and asked them to refund me this fee. He adamantly refused to give me any credit and ransom me to bill 150 dollars instead of the 20 already charged, claiming he had the right to do so if he wanted. I did not expect to deal with fraudsters like this company. Never dealt with them, especially when they charged me 40 dollars more than the airline directly.

I ordered a ticket from Cheap Fare Gurus and paid for it in full. Then they changed my ticket to an earlier time. Here is the caveat... Because they changed my ticket time, they charged me an extra $50 in addition to my ticket. I could see if I made the change, but they changed it. So beware of Cheap Fare Gurus!

SACM SCAM SCAM
September 9, 2023

I used to be a regular customer with this company but the company is running a big scam. They use another company called EROS and will start to send you emails one week before your flight to alert you that the flight has been rescheduled followed by a $75 fee to reissue ticket for change of flight and they do it again for the return flight by charging you another $75. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO BOOK YOUR AIR TICKET. THEY LURE WITH A CHEAP PRICE AND THEN DO THESE STUPID THINGS THEY DO BY CHARGING TO YOUR CREDIT CARDS with no prior authorization.

They show cheap price without showing flight details; They ask credit card and charge it before displaying flight details. You may have unnecessary stop-overs before reaching to destination. They charge you service fee even if you do not complete reservation after seeing the wrong flight details. There is no option to deny the ticket.

I bought two tickets to Chicago, and the insurance. I had a heart attack, my doctor says I cant travel. I called to cancel my tickets. They said I would have negotiate with the carrier. I told them I have insurance with you. They said it goes to the carrier. I spoke to Spirit and the United, they told me the ticket is non refundable and could be changed for 250.00. My ticket was 312.57. They said the insurance goes to Cheap Fare Guru. They told me the airlines are lying. I offered to bring the airline on on our conversation...they say its not their policy. Im out 312.57 and 12.95 insurance. Stay away from this company.

I booked a roundtrip domestic flight in February 2023, in June I received an email stating my flight plan has changed and to review information carefully. It stated failure to confirm changes would result in me missing my flight. I stated I reviewed the change. Next day my credit card was charged $50. Contacted my bank and questioned this charge was fraudulent. I called their number and no one ever answered the phone. Sent an email and received a message that they needed to charge my card for a reissue fee. This is BS. I am in touch with the BBB now trying to get a refund because I feel this site is a scam operation who will continue to charge a fee every time a flight may be changed by a few minutes. I also purchased travel insurance which is worth nothing. Stay away.

Crooked business!
July 7, 2023

We booked a flight through CFG at a pretty price at first. The airlines later updated flight schedule. CFG forwarded that email and charged us $70.00 for "transportation". It was their job to earn commission. We disputed this unlawful charge with our credit card. Because CFG could not swallow this illegal charge, they had to vomit it out. BEWARE of this CROOK!

Reserving from USA, 24 hrs free cancellation is not honored even the booking page clearly says 24 free cancellation. This is a bogus site since other similar sites like Expedia or Orbitz are honoring $0 cancellation fees within 24 hrs.PLEASE STAY AWAY from booking through this site.

Be aware the coy defrauds people. Buys air tickets with people's (potential customers) money on anticipation of booking tickets for one and sells the same ticket when ticket fares are high without the passenger's knowledge/ consent. Most painful would be to debit your account for unauthorized ticket cancellation.

Cheap Fare Ripoff!
June 13, 2023

My Wife booked a flight to travel from Portland to Indiana to attend my father's funeral. The airline changed our return flight to include a leg in Las Vegas. Cheap Fare As^¥π÷÷€es charged us $150.00 for a flight change! We called Cheap $#*! and were told we had to contact the airline. The airline told us we had to contact the credit card company. We disputed the charge. Cheap Ripoff replied that " the charge was in accordance with their policy" STAY AWAY! RUN!

This site is very unresponsive to any changes. I was on hold for over 3 hours when I clicked 2 to make a change to my flight. Never got anyone to help me. I lost 600 dollars since I could not fly on the date of the flight.

Like everyone else purchased ticket, cancelled within 10 mins, they are quick to book tickets but not quick to cancel. I have been after them for over 2 months to get a refund on a flight that was never booked with the airline. They just charged me and kept the money. Extremely frustrating!

The customer service was automated and kept hanging up after a certain point. The live chat option would say someone would email me within 24 hours, that did not happen. They kept changing my flight itinerary. I paid almost $3000 for 2 flights and finally got $139 refund!

I needed to change the dates on my airfare due to a medical condition. I phoned the advertised 24/7 phone number, waited anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes for someone to answer the phone over a five-day period. When a male did answer the phone on the 6th day, I was told that I had to call the airline directly and he hung the phone up abruptly. This company, "CheapFareGuru" (hereafter,CFG) has a written policy that clearly states "Non Refundable Tickets must be changed or cancel before flight ", which I was doing. Ibelieve it should be noted that it was my experience CFG basically hijacked, much to my surprise, this flight from Alaska Airlines. I reluctantly decided to give CFG a try and it did end up being a terrible experience. CFG did e-mail an E-Ticket(s) to me with the data of the flight to and from, complete with Guru Booking ID number, my name, Airline Confirmation Number, Baggage Fee, and one page with general information and CFG rules/guidelines.

Booked a flight, with travel insurance, travel assist...canceled the flight within a couple hours, only after 10 unsuccessful attempts getting through. Then I called the # to book flights, got someone who was very rude, she canceled my flight, said the total minus the travel insurance would be refunded, then hung up one me. Several charges on my CC and now can't reach anyone. I again had to call the number to book a flight (6X), finally got someone, asked not to be transferred...but either transferred me right away into the abyss...or they hung up on me. Pretty sure calls are going to India so no rules I guess. I gave up and just called my CC company.
DO NOT BOOK ON THIS SITE! YOU ARE WELCOME!. If you don't believe all these zero reviews try calling the number to cancel a flight.
