Many customers report significant delays in processing transactions, poor communication, and a lack of support in resolving issues, such as unauthorized charges and account closures. While some positive feedback highlights prompt responses to fraud concerns, these instances are overshadowed by complaints of unprofessionalism and perceived indifference to customer needs. Stealing funds
November 11, 2022

My father passed away and I was left with his assets.I decided to sale a rare collectable piece and found a buyer.he sent $ 8000.00 to my account and the bank officer asked me with a rude attatude.what is the $8000.00 for.so in turn I told her it is not her business...
The next day I decided to move money to my credit union Bank account...I found that chase locked my acct.
They refuse to give me my money until I bring them some kind documentation of the sale.and that the money is intended to be for me...so we when did the bank have the right to steal my money.cuz that is basically what they are trying to do here...and when is is there business who sends me money and for what.
I requested my money sever times and they have refused to unlock my a cc count

Chase sucks
November 7, 2022

I have a Chase Amazon credit card, so I bought a part from a place called "Stock Wise Auto.com", they sent me the wrong part and I returned it. I never got credit for it, so I called Chase and they reversed the charges stock wise so they never got it The return, so I faxed and sent the proof that was sent back to Stock Wise Auto and I still got screwed by chase bank, I just close the credit card, I hope nobody gets a credit card from them, they're a bunch of jerks, so I got screwed out of $265 by Chase. I guess they need it more than me. My advice is never get a credit card from chase bank. They're a bunch of losers.

Amazon credit card
November 7, 2022

Chase has been able not only once but four times write my address incorrectly. Leading to me never receiving my Amazon credit card and me closing the account. Incompetent, unfriendly, unable to meet basic needs, and unable to communicate effectively

Bad banking
November 3, 2022

Chase bank is a horrible entity to use for a business LOC and business checking/saving accounts they charge outrageous amount of interest on a revolving loan every other month raging from 10 to 60 percent that is outrageous you will never pay it off with making payment, and will close your checking/savings account that's link to charge other fees.

Chase bank is horrible
October 28, 2022

Every six months they "run a check" and reduce your credit card limit because "they feel its the in their best interest". What about the customer? Even during covid if you ask to divert a car loan payment they hit your credit. The customer service in the bank and on the phone are horrible. They treat you like you're are beneath them and they are doing you a favor. I had to get a cashiers check and it took 4 different banks to get it right. I had cc fraud and needed to change my debit card and it was a 2 week undertaking to get it correct and no one really cared.

I received a flex freedom card from chase and wanted to use the 5% rewards offered for booking travel through their app. Because I was traveling with a child internationally I had to call directly. After being disconnected 3 times and being transferred and 3 hours on the phone, I wasn't able to book my flight and receive cash rewards. It felt like I was being scammed honestly. I just need to book a flight.

Chase bank
October 12, 2022

I have been with chase bank for 30 years. They have now blocked my trust account after being given multiple trust documents. Checks have been blocked for both incoming and outgoing. I am so discussed with them. I'm leaving chase as soon as possible. I will NEVER bank with them again!

Chase Bank's financial advisors will invariably give you the WORST financial advice. Early in 2022, when I wanted to pull my money out of the markets and put it into CD's, my Chase advisor talked me out of it. Since then, I have lost tens of thousands of dollars of my money. It seems to me I have lost control of my money. My "financial advisor" now controls my money, telling me what to do with it and when. Chase financial advisors should LISTEN to their clients instead of telling them what to do, giving them reckless financial advice when they didn't even ask for it. I think the best course of action going forward is to just cut my losses and end my relationship with Chase. I'm sorry I ever set foot in Chase bank.

I've been to a chase for a very long time and wanted to continue to switch because of the problems however to change everything is always a pain. I'm done now they held a payroll check for over two weeks same check that gets normally direct deposited however our accountant was out of town and we received paper payroll checks because of this it was placed on hold. Nobody would help no one from the branch no one over the phone there is no budging. My payroll checks have never bounced and the payroll account has always been in good standing. Unbelievable

I had fraud happen on my account they with held my checks which I was okay with if they would have notified me. Here to find out they locked my digital card and regular debit card so I had no access to my account unless I went in. It's Monday morning and my check still hasn't been deposited which is crazy to me because my checks comes in at 2am on pay day. Horrible protection they are just making it hard for me to get my money not anyone else.

Credit card payoff
September 25, 2022

So I paid off a credit card $7500 with chase, and was told that it was the full amount including residual interest, a month later I get a bill stating that I still owe money, and I let them know that I had audio of our conversation, still, they said that the chase representative was wrong by giving the full amount and that I still owe, no accountability! Closing my other business account and encouraging people not to do business with this bank

I have attempted to set up automatic payments for our credit cards and it is impossible. Always get the "it looks like this part of our site is not working right now." Just pathetic customer service by telephone. Although Citibank even lets me set up auto pay by phone, Chase cannot. Constantly get shut out of website, etc., etc.

I honestly was excited to come back to Ohio and bank with Chase. I loved them when I had them years ago!
Unfortunately, customer service is horrible, they froze then closed my account! Let's not mention the bills I have to pay now with a late fee. Do you think chase will offer to pay those late fees? I will be removing my funds closing my account and will NEVER bank with Chase Bank again. I will tell everyone I know how horrible Chase bank is and to never bank with them. The power of word of mouth is stronger than any website.

I opened a credit card- spend 1k in the first month and receive $40k rewards points. I received $40k in rewards... great. A representative told me about another promotion- spend $5k in 3 months and receive $50k in rewards. All I had to do was call in after the $5k was spent and the rewards would be honored. I called back after I spent $5k in three months and no one could help me or honor the rewards. I talked to several representatives and managers and they all told me they could not honor the request. I gave dates, times, names of every representative/ manager I spoke with- of course there we no notes in the system even though I called back multiple times. I even suggested to replay the recorded phone conversations! Nothing was done - all I received was an apology over and over again. Why would I spend over $5k for no reason and get nothing out of it! I even asked for other current promotions- they wouldn't apply those because of the state I live in. I asked to have my limit increased since I spent so much money- they said sure- but it would be a hard pull on my credit! LIARS! NOT happy!

I have been a chase bank customer since before they became chase 20+ years. I have had multiple problems happen to my account but the recent has made me start looking for a new bank. I recently moved to a very remote location in Alaska the closest town and store are 3 hours away since I have been here I have made about 6 purchases with my debit card at the little town store they really don't have much. So I had to pay $140 to get to the closest town to get supplies for the month. I was able to pull money out for the taxi ride but when I went to pay for my groceries I was declined and then my card deactivated. Where I am at the normal phone company's do not work so I had to change my number to one with gci so I don't have my same number now I did do the online change for my number. When I called they wouldn't help me and kept telling me I would have to go into a chase bank or use the number that should no longer be on my account but according to them that doesn't mean $#*!! They wouldn't authorize my card any other way then through the old number and told me I was screwed and couldn't make my purchases I attempted to use my wife's card and they did the same to her card when I spoke to a manger at the bank she recommended the store give me access to there account to pay them directly or for the manager that was listening and hearing this loan me the 1200. 00 they have never meet me or know me at all but yet this manager wants a stranger to loan me the money for my groceries this was the worst experience I have ever had I will be changing my bank after this m. This experience made me angry/pissed embarrassed and scared that I couldn't provide for my family even though I have enough money in my account chase is a joke and I will be reporting this experience to the better business bureau and who ever I can!
