Without warning, my computer was unable to log in to my Chase Bank online banking website. I got a screen saying I needed to update Safari to the latest version, but I had the last update available. I called the Chase online support and they told me they no longer support my Safari browser and I can no longer log in to the site. They told me they changed their system to provide a better experience for customers, but I can't use it. Amy was not able to explain how getting permanently locked out was a better experience for me.
If you have the same problem, I urge you to call the Chase online support, *******372, and complain.
I had the pleasure of reopening my account after I was exonerated for a crime I did not commit and was incarcerated for 7 months.
The assistance I received on the phone today was exceptional. I could not help but share my story as I had no other explanation for why my account had no deposits on it and only recurring charges for over 7 months.
I am getting my life back on track and Chase assisted me in doing so. To new beginnings, and banking again with old friends. Happy to be in good standing again with my financial institution of 15 years.

I followed all requirements to get an open account bonus and they did not put iy in my account. Its gone to 3 escalation departments and noone calls me back for 3 months nor responds to email. Just because I made 2 transactions on my Gpay that they told me to do because it took forever for my new card to come through, I could not buy food while out of town with my daughter for Christmas Eve nor could I get gas to get home! I even called them twice and let them know I was out of town and exactly where. No CS reps would answer phone until 12/26/2022. They could have emailed me or texted me to see if it was my transaction. I tried to go to 2 Chase Atms to tap my Gpay to no avail! This is a terrible company. Go anywhere but here!
My account was attempted to be hacked 50 plus times, chase never caught it they did get in the account, so I called and we closed it technically and the next day a chase manager opened a new account and now because of a filed claim I did not file my account is closed. Can not get another lost my paycheck and now because chase won't let my paycheck be deposited so I lost that too
I tried to make a appointment in person or over the phone to open a high school acc to my 2 kids... no date available, the customer service over the phone suggested to open a kids acc and go to the closest branch to upgrade the acc... when I got there, none of the 3 managers were with a customer and they said if by 4:15 the customer don't show up they would help me... I got here 3 pm... by 4:15 they came up and said 45 min would not be enough time to help me... really? BTW no customer show up... I'm thinking I should start to look for another bank...
I'm starting to get to the point where I'm thinking to drop chase and take my money elsewhere. They have been having terrible customer service for a while now. I recently lost my card and since they stopped giving the instant one at the branch. They said would arrive 5-10 business days. 15 days went by and nothing. I called again and the person I spoke to no apologies or anything. Only said I was getting another one sent and another 5-10 days AGAIN! Now already almost 2 weeks and nothing has arrive. I called and 20 min wait. Smh I just can't with them. I just need my damn $#*!ing card
Called customer service and they were rude and condescending...I have a mortgage with them and 2 credit cards and they were horrible to deal with! I will go back to discover card usage since their customer service was always helpful and respectful.
I have waited 3 weeks for a replacement debit card and have yet to receive a response from them regarding any of the emails I have sent or any news on where they might be in transit or if they have even sent one. And and there needs to be a way to go to a bank and get a replacement card instead of having to go through the website or by phone.
I have been a chase customer for some time i was on hold 3 hrs and no help me i called 2 i got help from some one else and they tell after 3 hr wait i cant help you let transfer you to another department i wait another 1 no help bad service
I'm on social security my SS payment is on third of the month. They refuse to give my money for 10 to fifteen days. I have to pay a late payment for my rent. 100.00 dollar late fee. I'm now being Evicted because they refuse to pay me my check. Don't bank with this criminal bank.
Beware of the horrible Chase support of transactions disputes. Thats non- existance. They DO NOT protect thier customers from unintended charges from merchants, fraudent charges, malpractice transactions from merchants. My merchant charged me $165 for plan which i never signed up for. I submitted my dispute within 2 months. Chase refused to dispute the transaction. They made up their own policy on spot to drift you away. Rather than resolving the issue, they will simply blame you(customer) for the transaction and never refund you the money charged on card. I had amazing experience from other popular credit cards like Discover which protected customers from all kinds of malpractise transactions. AVOID chase credit cards!
You can't do anything on the website. Nothing works. You have to call customer service and they can't help you. EVER. They have to send you a form by mail, you fill it out, send it back, wait, call them back and MAYBE they will help you. There aren't many branches available, so going to one is a huge hassle, but it's preferable than talking to any of the people they hire for call centers.
Chase does not care about their customers. Their customer service and branch people are very rude and very dishonest! Amazing how rude and dishonest they are. I will definitely not keep my bank accounts with them.
I would run miles away and go to a different bank where they will respect you and your money. After so many times. Calling back and forth managed to get an appointment to open an account. I went to the branch on East Bidwell Folsom, Ca. I went there at 9:05 for my appointment. Susan, the lady I had appointment with said my appointment is not until 9:15. She said that "I do not have time for you, you are going to wait for 15 minutes. She was standing and talking to other banker, After all these calls and visits to the bank, I was to still wait. And her attitudes for customer service not acceptable. I would rather go to a local bank. It is too big a bank for it's own good.
Chase put my check on a hold and could or would not tell me why. It was from a reputable bank and it was a business check not a personal check and under $1,000.00. I called to see why they put on hold, no answer then insufficient answer. I don't know the ATM automatically does that, is not an answer Chase... So I went to the Branch across the street from me same answer. What is this and ill advise stupid script. That derives nothing. Then I waited a day and Call a 1877 number for chase the person took the check off of hold and I asked. Why was check put on hold and they say "don't worry about it the hold is off now" I am like REALLY! What happened to proper customer service just out the window, and I really do not trust Chase bank now. Smh
Customers service lately become Worst bank I've ever dealt with in my life they act as your money is their money and they won the bank please do yourselves a favor and leave these ppl alone to open landloard escrow account they asking for lease agreement,immigration documents for tenants even review the lease agreement plus bad attitude also you need to speak Spanish otherwise you will be horrible condition
Just finished speaking with representatives from Chase. Asked for a simple request but you would think that it was for a pot of gold. From the snickering David, to manipulative Anna, and mouthy Cynthia all the customer service reps in the world could not fix the service these 3 provided. And Anna as a supervisor was using my time to fill out her complaint form and manipulative for her benefit. Words of anger were not appropriate but the customer service these 3 provided was the unacceptable. I do hope they all experience the difficult times COVID has been promoting and Chase finds it time to clean house.
My experience with chase so far is horrible. On 8/11 I deposited my check into chase bank. The check cleared my former bank the same day. On 8/14 the money isn't in my chase checking account. I call chase and a supervisors says that the money is not available because my former bank hasn't verify that the money has cleared the account. I make a three way call, get verbal verification that the check cleared the account, and chase still denied to release the hold on my account. Beware of this bank.
Chase will not protect your money, you get scam or anything like that, chase will give all your money to the scams and chase will take your money also and leave you stuck, I got scam chase took all my money let the scammers take my money, chase closed my account and kick me off, and I still hasn't gotten any of my money back chase told me it was nothing they can do, stop putting your money in chase they will not protect your money!
Clean, uncluttered site that is easy to navigate. I wish for the extra cash back emails they would use their own URL instead of that of the cheap mailing company they use because I always have to navigate to the site and find the activation link rather than just click a trusted address in the email.

Answer: Because they can and they don't care. The customer service outside of the branch is non-existent. They truly don't care about anything other than the amount of money they can collect from the interest they can collect from our money.
