The company's reputation is notably marred by widespread customer dissatisfaction, particularly concerning its handling of accounts and customer service interactions. Many customers report significant delays in processing transactions, poor communication, and a lack of support in resolving issues, such as unauthorized charges and account closures. While some positive feedback highlights prompt responses to fraud concerns, these instances are overshadowed by complaints of unprofessionalism and perceived indifference to customer needs. Overall, the sentiment reflects a pressing need for improved operational efficiency and customer care to restore trust and satisfaction among clients.

I deposited a payroll check and they put a seven business day hold. I was told they couldn't verify funds so I went to the bank it was drawn on they verified funds and chase still refused to release funds even if it clears earlier. The lady was rude and condescending on phone. Would give zero stars if I could.
I opened a business checking account. Chase is still.holding a deposit that cleared 2 days ago. When I called they said they could take up to 5 days to release it. Horrible customer service!
Chase is a piece of $#*! bank. I had an account with them for a long time. Out of nowhere I get a letter saying they are going to close my account for no reason. No explanation given. This was about 8 years ago. On my Amazon Prime account it said I could get savings if I applied for an Amazon CC. I did and got approved for $11,500.00 limit. I used it to get the discounts for a couple months on Amazon. I used about $1000.00 worth of credit and then got a letter in the mail saying the card is through Chase Bank and they are closing my CC account down for no reason given. What a joke. I have an almost 800 credit score and have never missed a bill or payment in my life. They treat people like crap for no reason. $#*! Chase Bank.
Chase used to be an excellent bank that you could rely on when unscrupulous companies scam you but not anymore! Went to them about Frontier's.01 Wild Pass agreement that never existed and all they said was you signed the agreement. I explained that the company didn't honor the agreement and submitted about 47 pages of evidence as they suggested to be told again I signed the agreement.
What a waste of time!
Working at chase was a journey for me a long trip I was getting ready to quit eight months ago. The LAO was verbally aggressive with employees the manager pretended not to see it. I would go back to the company only on the commercial or corporate.
From the customer service to the fees to most of their policies. They just lost a customer. Stay away.
I have called 4 times for the bank to give me a credit they said they are working on it! It has been 11 days. They show no empathy!
They lie about everything. Make it all the consumers fault. You could pay all your balances on time, be a very good customer and when you do something they don't like they will just freeze your card. Goodbye chase, I have bigger problems to deal with.
Today I tired logging into my Chase app. Come to find a message stating, "We've locked your account due to to unusual activity!" NO there is no unusual activity, NO I don't do any unusual transfers, NO I don't do any illegal transactions! Called them for some explanation to why my account is locked. Customer service rep told me my account has been closed they will mail me a cashier check. She stated, Chase bank has the right to close any account and doesn't need to provide any information to why. Told her, I want to to speak to a supervisor.
He was the worst supervisor with bad feedback. Telling me that, Chase has the right to refuse anyone without any explanation or justification. Pissed me off, I couldn't help but I cursed him out. I do all my bills with online banking. I justified that to him. However, he didn't care whatsoever! Told me that yes, your bills are going to bounce. What a complete $#*!.
Actually they're doing me a favor. I will never bank with Chase again. People, don't bank with Chase! They're a horrible company. Go somewhere else. Save you same bad experience.
Stay away from this bank. They will mislead you with their offers. This bank does not offer conflict resolution. Also their customer service is horrendous.
I'm a decorated partially disabled veteran I don't have bad credit i just don't have enough.
You won't approve me but my neighbor is an illegal alien and you approved him.
Its my intention to get as many of my disabled brothers and sisters I can and protest with signs
My next step is to call fox News and explain how you can approve an illegal alien but not a veteran who doesn't have enough credit
Visit the company up there then tell them to assist you get your funds back from your scam broker
They will help you solve your withdrawals problems.
It is almost impossible to contact a customer service representative. I was sent around and around on the robot until I pushed several buttons. This happened three times until I was finally told to press "000" to get a representative. What infuriated me is that THEY owed ME money. After double speak from the rep, they finally conceded that I would get my money back, but that it would take 10 business days, which means nearly two weeks!
I've been with Chase since it was Western Mutual Bank. Never had any issues till just two weeks ago when my account was compromised, someone tried depositing checks online and doing online withdrawals. When I called Chase to get an update on what's going on sorry to say they have no idea about restricted accounts or why the new accounts were restricted. I also had a verbal password never once did the representative ask me for it for all I know I could be talking to a non Chase employee. All those years I've been with them this is a big disappointment instead of helping me they took easy way out by closing my account after opening two new accounts that tells me their staff doesn't have the right training and not professional at all. But the branch staff I dealt with in person were wonderful love them.To anyone wanting to open a account at Chase do your homework first. Goodluck.
I signed on with Chase and got one of their debit cards. It was part of a $250 promotion. I got it all set up. I linked it to my other bank. I tried to make transfers as they promised I could. I could not. I initiated the transfer and it immediately locked my account. Then I had to call some number in India I think. They requested all sorts of documention over the phone and still could not get anything done. I really feel like suing them. They lie both in person and on the website - at least false advertising. It is a crummy bank. They don't even get back to you with concerns you have. They do not seem to want my business and I certain never want theirs. Avoid them.
Bought this thing months ago figuring I could not have to check it out tried it doesn't work out-of-the-box won't connect horrible software horrible support. Do not waste your money like I did. This was a torch to $3000 blueskies who I bought it from. Hopefully they'll do the right thing if not shame on them for selling this piece of junk.
They close your account for no Reason, they slap you with intrest rate really high soon they see your balnce is high, they even close your credit card processor if some body dispute their charges, very bad experience as a personal and business account, worst ban ever known lot my frornds are disjointed with their un professional customer services.
The customer service are suck they're not helping you at all why you have to support them for survival.
Received a new card then as required used the chase app to verify receipt of the card next day emailed you have to call us to verify. Tried to access the letter but of course it wouldn't download. So then I send them a message I'm not calling and sitting on hold for 30 mins I already verified the card. Can't you just leave me alone. So then they cancel my card because they are vindictive. Going to close my account today and move to another garbage bank not capitol 1 who snitchea on you to the govt you can't trust anyone in this world
I been a chase customer for more than 10 years and today i took my sister to open a new checking account to the chase bank on Rome Hilliard Rd in Columbus, Ohio the person at the counter said "do you have an appointment otherwise we cannot help you and if you are not a citizen we cannot help you either" i never said i was from another country she profiled me from the moment i came in, i then asked how can i make an appointment and she said "go online and find the information you need in there " and we left she was rude
Answer: Offered as a finance for auto loan... I am seriously thinking of changing banks..
Answer: Because they can and they don't care. The customer service outside of the branch is non-existent. They truly don't care about anything other than the amount of money they can collect from the interest they can collect from our money.
Chase online; credit cards, mortgages, commercial banking, auto loans, investing & retirement planning, checking and business banking.
