I ordered a set of hubcaps! Only one came in it was an old cap (scratched up)(just painted over!) Do not order from the site total BS! I'm shook #triggered I have to write at least 100 characters so I'm filling in... but true experience! I should have checked this site for reviews
Ordered a center cap for my 2003 dodge Dakota and received it within a week of ordering, fast efficient service cap fit perfectly and am very pleased, will definitely use their service in the future if needed.
WOW... Wished I had taken a glance at the review just as many have previously stated. The website looked legit, processed the order and even got a deal for ordering a complete set of Ballistic wheel caps. The next day they sent me the order confirmation stating the items had shipped (July 2nd). I have ordered may things on line and every time i have been provided with some sort of tracking info. However with these jokers standard USPS apparently does not provide tracking and does not come with insurance... Okay. 10 days later no centercaps, repeated emails with no response, repeated phone calls selecting any and every option they have and nothing. Cant anything be done about this. I work hard for my money only to have some jerk offs like these come in and rip me off...
I order caps for my truck that I am restoring back to how it looked new. The caps I ordered were not cheap, and they said "refurbished" on their website. The ones that arrived to me were in NO way refurbished, in fact, they looked like they were pulled off a junkyard truck. I requested a full refund and I will not do business with this company again. I'd say they are dishonest at best...
I purchased an ostensibly new wheel cap for a 2012 Hyundai Elantra online via ebay. It was delivered promptly. However rather than receiving a new Hyundai cap I got a used Toyota cap. I sent two notices to centercaps letting them know of the error. However I didn't hear any response until I filed a refund request with ebay. Only then did they answer my complaint, and said they would mail the correct product asap. I did receive a delivery within 3 days, and it was the correct wheel cap. But once again, it is clearly a used cap, not new as advertised. I am trying to figure out how to file a review on ebay since I ordered it as a guest rather than try to remember my login information! Do yourselves a favor and try someplace else!
Beware of these people! I ordered a center cap for my 98 Mustang GT to replace one that was damaged in an accident. It was advertised as refurbished, however, when it came in the mail is literally poking through a thin vanilla envelope that wasn't even padded. It was used and badly damaged. It was 5 times worse than the one that it was supposed to replace. Thank goodness I paid for it with PayPal and immediately filed a claim with PayPal within 15 mins. I then sent them an email telling them I had filed a claim and they stated simply, "return it if I wasn't happy", to which I replied "send a return label and I will send it back to you". PayPal will give me my full amount regardless. It needs to be thrown in the trash to tell you the truth, it is useless. It took a threat to get them to return an email.
Bottom line, do not do business with these people, they are cons! Is there any honest people out there anymore?
I ordered caps for my F-150 and they arrived as ordered. I installed them and they felt snug on the wheel. The first time I drove the truck they fell off somewhere. I contacted Centercaps and they sent me a second pair at no charge. I will install them on the opposite side of the truck where the original 2 caps are now. Centercaps committment to try and help could not have done anymore. I am very happy with them and overwhelmed by their committment to try and help me out. Very few companies will go to that level. 5 stars from me and I will recommend them to others... Thanks, Clif in AK...
I ordered some center caps for my patrol car (2013 charger) and the center caps were in great condition. The only downfall was that the package took a while to get here and the box was damaged severely but the product was in good condition. 5 out of 5.
This company has more than 1 review indicating that they never sent the purchased part. So when we recently ordered a $350 part, we chose to use UPS with tracking. Center Caps created a label, charged for the part, but never shipped it. They decreased the number of center caps in stock by 1 as though they had shipped, but UPS did not receive the package. After 2 wks of phoning (never an answer) and emailing (no response) I checked their website and they had increased the number of caps back up to the original amt. In stock. I had to reach out to Paypal to start a claim dispute. Luckily, I had screenshots of everything and was able to prove that it was never shipped. Paypal is refunding my money. I recommend that you use tracking with this company or risk throwing away your money.
Ordered a hub cap and they said it was delivered couple days later. Never received order. They shipped it to deferent address and won't respond to my calls or emails. Lucky I paid with a credit card I can report that I never received order and they will pay me back cause this company sucks…they sent order to completely different address and state. I made sure the info I gave them is correct and it is. This company is not legitimate and will bill you and not deliver what you order.
Site mixes your shipping and billing address together making an address that doesn't exist. Little to no customer service... now dealing with credit card company because centercaps will do nothing. If there was a zero I would rate them zero. Do not use them!
All I can say is wow I will never buy anything online again without checking the reviews. Every review here is dead on... gently used my a** the retaining clips were broken off 2 caps and all 4 were scratched to hell... don't learn this lesson through the school of hard knocks like I did
So I'm looking for a hubcap for my 2001 Ford E150 van. I find one online for $35 it's reconditioned. So I received the hubcap in the mail it's dented and actually has a tear in the metal! And I realize it's much bigger than the hubcaps on my van. That's because it fits a Ford E250, E350 or E450 not an E-150! I email them. I have to pay the return shipping. Get charged a 20% restock fee. The last pic is a E250 vs. E150 hubcap. Don't use this company!
No customer service! Order at your own peril. Before ordering a center cap I emailed them asking if the part would fit since the p/n did not match my manual. They said yes, I ordered the cap and it does not fit. There is no phone to contact them and when I emailed with the problem 4 times I get the standard response to send it back. No one reads your emails. Before I spend additional $ sending it back and then getting charged a restocking fee when the error was theirs, I want to know if they have one that fits. I am trying to send a fax and hope someone will read it this time, but am not optimistic. -
This is the absolute worst website. After 2 emails, 3.5 weeks waiting for my centercaps, 1 vague response stating that the caps had been shipped (but with no tracking number available), I disputed with my credit card company.
This merchant is what makes online buying not fun. I ordered my caps from a different website and received the brand new caps within 2 business days.
Center Caps.net went out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of. Communicating through e-mail was quick and efficient. I look forward to doing business with them in the future and would definitely recommend this company to others who are looking for hard to find center caps.
I placed my order a month ago. I only received the initial email stating they got my order and would advise when it was dispatched... crickets... nothing. I followed up a few weeks later and didn't even get a response to that... feeling very ripped off!
Site is dishonest. Fails to notify that it sells only used parts. That information is buried in the fine print on the FAQ. I would guess that a question they are frequently asked is, "Why did you send me a used part when I thought I was ordering new?" My caps arrived heavly rusted, corrosion eating through the chrome, scratched. Would not recommend this site to anyone
I ordered before reading reviews of this site. I think they are reading the reviews, my order came in 4 days through USPS. They were a few scratches, but so do the others on my 2001 car. However, I was miffed about the fact that they have no phone number, you get no receipt, it comes in an envelope instead of a box, and all you get with the package is a business card with the same info you get online... nada.
It was my worst experience with an online vendor, and I deal with a lot of them...
Over $100 for a set of refurbished center caps! What a joke for a piece of plastic that is not even new! Scratches and everything on these $25 each pieces of $#*!! Do not bother with this company!
