My car was a few years old but well maintained and ran great. I made the mistake of providing these clowns at Carvana my car's info and expecting a serious offer. Instead they offered around $1,100, about A THIRD of other offers, so I sold the car to a dealership for over $3,100. They continue to pester me over email, now offering $471 (!) for the same car. Prepare to be ripped off if you choose to deal with Carvana.
I liked the experience dealing with Carvana. I received a better trade in for my car than anywhere else. The only complaint was that they are so busy that it took over a week to deliver the car. The price for delivery was much higher than having the car sent by carrier. The paper work is all done online and very complete. All is needed is insurance card and license. I will buy again from them...
Placing an order was very easy. I sold my car and borrowed a friends car for the 5 days until the delivery date. That's when the issues started. I took time off work, drove all over town to meet their deadlines. The delivery date then gets pushed out again and again. Looking for answers? Contact their chat and call a representative only to get bombarded with conflicting information and anyone you talk to will give you a different answer. I ordered a truck and got as far as the delivery date. Thankfully the tow truck driver was kind enough to realize that the entire bottom and engine was severely rusted- 150 point inspection…yea right! This was not disclosed earlier and was purposely left out of the pictures. The cancellation process was seamless. A very disappointing and frustrating experience. Now I'm left without a car and have to look for a rental. Very very bad company.
With the pandemic, lack of car inventory and inflation, buying a vehicle right now is more difficult than ever. Carvana made it simple with on-line purchase and friendly delivery. The exact car I wanted did arrive late, but with proper communication and in great condition. I am still in the 7 day trial period, so will repost if anything changes.
One of the most magical days of my life was buying my car with carvana!, I got it out of the vending machine! It was so much fun! Customer service.Omg! Excellent! Everyone there is so cool! I mean really! However, if you decide to sell your recently purchased vehicle through them, by them, be prepared to not only loose money, but have your pockets turned inside out. So I would advise buy from them, do not sell to them, and you will be a happier person
We ordered a Dodge Ram from Carvana. We had to fill out the paperwork four times. A week later, the car arrived in our state, Massachusetts. Then, on the day of delivery, we were requested to drive 90 minutes in each direction to pick it up, since some workers didn't show up for work. When they did finally deliver the truck after much pleading from us, the engine light went on, so they took the truck and left to have it checked by a mechanic. After a few days, I was told there was a faulty exhaust sensor and that Carvana would have to make the repair, but first had to get approval from their warranty company and that all told it would take about a week and a half. Now they are telling us it is a three-week delay.
The price was right, but the runaround is NOT acceptable. And when I asked about a make-good, a robot simply asked if there was anything it could do to help. Boooo.
So annoying that you view pictures in their list and have to start back to the top. Why do i have waste my time scrolling back to where i left off! Why?! That should be an easy fix. Can view app that have this
Great pick-up. Easy done. Online section of the sale was super wasy and scheduling the pick was super.
I bought a car that needed a new battery, tires in the front the belts were showing. My oxygen sensors had to be replaced and I now have a light on that we can't figure out why. That little 1000 mile warranty or whatever it is was just long enough to get me to have to sink money into a car they swore they do inspections on. They are lying!
Purchased a vehicle from carvana in May 2023. Agreement was to purchase the vehicle, have the car registered by carvana and then delivered to my residence. Ive held through on my end of the contract, however they havent. The car was neither registered and I have been unable to drive the car for a month now. They told me 11 days ago is have my tags in 5 to 7 days and I still can't drive but they want me to pay on time. Monday I'm filling a law suit against them like so many states and other people all over the country have done. Today I contacted their rep names Sebastian and he told me they would contact me in 20 minutes. 3 hours later and they haven't contacted me. I have never been so angry or had such a horrible experience in my 64 years. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! BUY LOCAL FROM A DEALER OR PRIVATE PARTY.
Purchasing the car was easy and their warranty administrator quickly approved some major repairs that came up in the first two weeks. But it has gone downhill from there. My temporary tags expired so I can't legally drive the car. Was promised each time I called that they would investigate and get back to me. That happened exactly once. Now the 100 day warranty is running out and they won't extend the warranty even though they have caused the temporary plate to expire. I would never buy another car from them.
Unfortunate and disappointing. Was offered a quote for sale of my vehicle. Filled out the questionnaire listing everything concerning vehicle which carvana accepted and confirmed multiple times purchase price and date of pick up. Spent money to have vehicle transported to pick up location only to have them refuse vehicle on said date due to an airbag light that they were made aware of and accepted. Complete waste of time and money not to mention possible loss of another buyer since removed from other sales platforms once I had the purchase confirmation from carvana.
Did two purchases back to back. They were supposed to handle registration then I get sent packet to register myself. Then get charged ridiculous amount of registration fees that they refuse to reimburse. Do trust what they "say"... read the fine print even if it is 30 pages long. Out hundreds of dollars because I was naive enough to take a company as honest to the word. Nope, they sneak stuff in the fine print even after telling you man to man something else. Integrity is lacking.
Reset delivery date three times and never was able to deliver. Now they hold my down payment. So after ruining my Memorial Day weekend for their final act, Carvana still has my cash & I have no car.
It is spelled FRAUD.
Not sure why they offer this as an option They can't deliver a vehicle on time. I took time off of work to wait for my new car only for them to cancel the drop off date two days before hand. Needless to say the transaction was cancelled but not at no cost as my credit took a hit.
Obviously their "inspection" processes are bunk. 3 visits to different repair facilities. All issues continuously caused by bad suspension, badly in need of a tune up, out of alignment, horrible vibrations and shimmy's. Their guard dog Silver Rock doesn't listen at all. I'll never do it again.
There's nothing new here except a long drawn out string on emails from nice people promising things they can't deliver. Inspected cars that aren't. The usual you'll find at any car dealer. If Carvana inspected this car, I'm Abraham Lincoln.
In the year and a half since purchasing my Audi, I've had to put $7400 of repairs into it and it is currently at the dealership once again, for about $7,000 worth of more repairs. Bad motor mounts, torn bushings, oil and coolant leaks, clogged fuel injectors, the list goes on. The "84 whatever point inspection check" that they advertise must be a joke. Within 30 days of purchasing the vehicle, almost everything that isn't covered under warranty needed replaced (battery, brakes, tires, etc). I do not recommend Carvana to anyone. I'm fairly certain they buy auction vehicles and immediately resell them regardless of condition.
By far the worst experience. Had multiple issues starting on the 1st day. When we tried to purchase, 2nd sales rep on the phone tried to raise our price from previous sales rep. Then, pick up the Yukon XL was disgusting interior and we called immediately- also damage. Needed oil change immediately. After a couple days, check engine lights, window plastic panels falling off, and now the 1st day we needed the AC, it doesn't work. They send 100 dollar checks to shut you up and it doesn't even cover the costs of anything. I am currently waiting on a response. Now a safety issue...I will be pursuing a refund if doesn't go the way it should. Picture of the hole is provided but how it was received and not pictured or described...just an example. Not happy!
We went to pick up our car that was purchased with a non-carvana financing. The location is downtown Atlanta right there off 85. The employee that did our check out was Lorenzo Moore. He was extremely rude. He was short-answered each time you asked him a question at the table and very impatient and clearly showed on his facial expressions he was not interested in being decently kind. Frankly, it was the saddest experience of my life! This man does not belong in customer service. He is killing the Carvana reputation ‼‼‼ Look for better employees, Carvana!
I landed on a vehicle on carvana. Put in the 25% down payment my credit rating which is above 800 and length of term. The result didn't come anything near what they were showing! So I called the 800 number. The lady said we don't negotiate interest rates! Even though they were 4% more then my previous three pre-qualifications! They don't care one bit! Guess that's why they're 6 billion dollars in the hole! They reported a 1.5 billion dollar decline last year! I guess all the new car sales are supposed to make up that money with finance charges! Even the dealerships don't charge the interest rates that they want!
Answer: "Customer Service"? There is no customer service. It's just email runaround and they sell the car out from under you without even telling you. And... they keep your deposit. It's more like customer DIS-service
Answer: Don't buy from them. The are just like used car salespeople. No difference! Rip-off!
Answer: I had the most amazing time buying a car through Carvana; I got a loan quikly, got my car in a couple weeks and the car is an awesome car; its all registered for me and I just got it inspected, passed no problem. My car only had 42,000 miles on it and rarley was driven. YES get a car from Carvana they are so great! My payments are super low too.
