The mechanic was unwilling to work with Car Shield. He said he had tried so many times in the past, and it never worked out. Told me they were a scam. They would call him while he was working on cars obviously and then they would put him on for extended periods of time while they hunted down aftermarket parts. He didn't want to put aftermarket parts on my vehicle because he guarantees his work. And then eventually he would hang up because he couldn't hold on any longer. He was Trying to run a business.

I was unable to file a claim for the repair of my valve cover gasket on 7/28/23 because Firestone had already started the working on the repair once they realized the problem. I called to do the claim while sitting at Firestone, but was told the claim had to be filed before service even though I was in the building where the diagnostic could have been given for the claim.
I had to make an adjustment and arrange my payments according to my fixed income and the representative did it as soon as possible without any red tape only understanding.

They informed me that the problems I was having is still covered by the manufactory warranty until 60,000 miles or 5 years. My mileage is 57,995 miles and I should take it to the dealer for maintenance. They also, saved me money by not going any further then they needed to.

I wished I could give both Carshield employees a reward. They worked very hard to locate me in order to be able to send help. I realize now the importance of knowing the last exit or land mark you see. If they can't find you they can't send help. I've been waiting on getting my truck fixed they told me to take it to their shop and when the shop told them wat was wrong they wanted them to perform other thing it's really crazy how much they have tooken me thur so far I've been without my vehicle for 3 months still waiting
