I ordered front and rear WeatherTech Window Deflectors for my 2015 Ford Fiesta Hatchback from CARid. Both WeatherTech and CARids webpage photos show a rear window photo of a different vehicle. If they had a photo of the Deflector on a 2015 Ford Fiesta, it would have show that when the window is lowered slightly, to allow for ventilation, it leaves a 1/2 gap at the rear which lets in rain and is an invitation for break-ins. If I had known this, I would never have ordered the set for rear windows, since I find them merely decorative and basically unusable for what theyre intended. I requested a refund from CARid, but after 27 email exchanges dealing with three separate people, and repeating the same issue several times, CARid finally informed me that they would not stand behind the WeatherTech window deflectors they sold me and would not offer a refund or discount.
I ordered a mach 2 style hood and paid $420.94. I received this hood damaged. So obviously I sent it back and did a charge-back to get my money back. I lost the dispute and asked for CarID to ship the item I paid for back to me. They responded saying that they had disposed of my item that i paid for. CarID is a terrible company with TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT order from them because this just my happen to you too.

Never again will I order from carid.com. They sent me a partial order and never notified me that the rest of my order was on back order. I was told they would be available the next day, but called that next day and was told I would have to wait 13 days for the part to back in stock and another 3-5 business days for it to get to me all while they have my payment in full. Spoke to a supervisor and was offered 20 dollars back on my order or a 25 dollar gift card. Definitely not a good experience the supervisor was rude and not helpful at all basically told me to cancel and return what I received and order somewhere else which is very unprofessional. The supervisors name was Stacey Williams.
When looking for the lights, we were unsure of what we needed. The customer service rep helped us find the exact parts needed for the job, the lights worked perfectly and the entire transaction was smooth. Delivery was faster than expected as well. I order and deal with many companies online but Car Id has to be one of the worst when it comes to customer service and honoring warranties. They dont respond back to you when there is a problem. You will feel like your getting a run around if there is an issue with your order, i was kept on hold many times and one of those times was for an hour long. I cant emphasize enough that anyone should consider Real Truck.com or Auto Anything.com way before EVER considering Car Id

The photo on the web site for the truck mat showed the Ford emblem so I ordered it in dark grey. I even had to enter the info about my Ford truck to get through the ordering process to identify I was ordering for a Ford truck. I asked if I could change the delivery from UPS to USPS and they agreed so I completed the order. The email confirmation I received stated delivery by UPS so I wrote back and Michelle replied it would come by USPS. I later received confirmation of pickup for delivery by UPS so I wrote back again asking for delivery by USPS instead of UPS and Michelle again replied it would be delivered by USPS and to not worry about the UPS designation on the delivery confirmation. I don't want UPS because all of their deliveries to Canada include an additional charge for import fees. I received the plain item with no Ford emblem shortly thereafter, in light grey instead of dark grey, but by UPS and at an additional cost of $21 above and beyond the original product and shipping costs. I then asked CARiD to pay for the return and replacement and they replied that they don't carry the floor mats with the Ford emblem. Yet that's what they show on their web site AND on my order form. And they naturally refused to step up to the plate and instead offered a 15% discount on anything else I'd like to order from them. Which would cost me that much for for an item I did not want, did not order, but received anyway. From the comments I see online I should obviously have checked here first. What a terrible business to order from! They give online shopping a bad name. But I guess they keep getting enough orders to stay in business. Now, that's a shame.
Ordered a toolbox for my truck, box arrived as if it came through a war zone (can't blame them for that) however it was scratched, missing paint, and had a bend in the back of the lid allowing for snow and rain to enter the box. Company refused to replace the unit. I wish i could do zero stars.

I have never ordered from Carid and been disappointed. Carid is where I go for anything car related.
