I ordered a 2012 Tundra Crewcab Truck cover. It was so tight, it was close to ripping, so I returned it for a refund. They first approved the refund then rescinded because the cover had a slight bit of dust on it. I told them that I had returned the cover perfectly clean and impeccable condition. Apparently this company will do anything to work around a refund to its customers. I could only have them return the cover to me and have my wife add material to it to be able to use, or have them "FIELD-DESTROY" the cover and lose my total $150.00 plus. Do not deal with this company unless you are willing to go through these "RIGAMAROWS". GOOD LUCK.

I asked for a steering wheel adapter for a 79 ford with tilt steering. CARiD sent me one and I installed it it was the wrong kit and it tore up the inside of the steering column. CARiD would not do a refund because it was install, but wanted to give me a $10 gift card to FUTURE purchases Why would I buy from a company who gave me a $40 purchase that going to cost at least $300 for repair

Items ordered on 8/17, that day the order confirmation email gave an estimated ship date of 8/19 and informed me a second email would be received when items shipped. 8/21 no email with shipping notification so I called customer service. I was on hold for 34 minutes before someone picked up my call. The customer service rep put me on hold for "2-5 minutes" while they contacted the manufacturer for an updated tracking number... 8 minutes later he came back and told me he would put the request through for an email with updated tracking information but that it would take 24-48 hours to receive it. 8/24 rolls around and still no information so I called again. I was on hold for 39 minutes before getting picked up. New person today but exact same situation: he was putting me on hold for "2-5 minutes" while reaching out to the manufacturer. Four minutes later he came back and said he was directed to the voicemail for the manufacturer so he was going to put me on hold again for another "2-5" minutes while he tried a second time. Two minutes later he came back again and said all he could do was put in a request for an email with updated tracking information but it would take 24-48 hours for a response. At this point I am very unhappy and ask to speak to a supervisor not because of anything the rep has done, but for the horrible service of the company overall. Surprise surprise, I got put on hold again... after a total of 49 minutes on the phone with this company, I can supposedly expect a phone call from a supervisor AND an email in 24-48 hours with updated tracking information. NEVER AGAIN.

JUst an update the fuel manufactured wheels I got from Cariid ( no customer service) after the wheels rusted on the outside in less than 6 months now 1 year and 2 months the wheels are loosing air slowly and and I am told by Discount tire that the wheels are rusting on the inside at the bead of the tires and causing slow leaks!
I bought a set of chrome wheels from carid and less than 6 months later the wheels were rusting through the chrome. I sent pictures of the wheels to carid as per their request so they could contact manufacturer ( Fuel) they said it would take a couple of days 3 days later I called back they said they had no answer yet call back in a couple of days a week later I called back so they called manufacturer after they hung up on me twice and supposedly the manufacturer (Fuel) said it was not a Waranty problem it was negligence on my part no explanation how just that it was my fault and so carid said that is it we are not responsible sorry
I bout a set of very expensive Chrome from acrid les than six months later they were rusting through the chrome I sent them pictures showing them the rust(wheel manufacture was Fuel) carid after I called back 6 times with them telling me they were trying to contact the manufacturer, told the rust was because of my negligence not Waranty and did nothing but blame me I have had a set of chrome wheels for 8 years that never rusted but these rusted in less than 6 months my fault. CarID does not care about its customers at all wished I had read their reviews before I bought from them never again
Update... CARID followed through with a new replacement foglight. I 'm very pleasantly suprized that they keep there word and provided me a replacement. The correspodance with the support technician "Mila" was very proffesional and sincere and I believe she deserves a raise. I'm very happy and thankful for there help. Karl R.
Recieved broken fog light and I'm unable to install in my truck. I would be glad to pay for return just to recieve my replacement. I'm not able to get a return label or a return autorization number. Not looking for a refund just a fog light noy broken. These lights are $180.00 and do not work very well broken in the original box.
I ordered Westin 57-*******A after speaking with customer service and being assured it was the exact same item as 57-*******. Item came in, missing most of the components depicted on the website and installation instructions. Spoke again with customer service, who had me take photos and submit them and wait for a reply from Westin. Response indicated I had to purchase another $354.18 worth of parts to install it on my truck, directly contradicting what I was told by customer service on 6/11. Called customer service again and was told, either pay up and buy the rest of the parts or return it. Item came by tractor trailer and required a forklift to unload, I work out of town and had to take a day off from work to receive the first shipment. Absolutely disgusted by the experience with CARiD and the fact that I have to either shell out more money to fix their mistake, or take a day off of work again to return this, and yet you as the seller, through customer service, could seemingly care less.
I understand mistakes can be made, I never asked or expected to be given the rest of the parts I need to make this work. I did expect, at the very least, an apology for the frustration caused and mistakes made by your company. The last customer service representative I spoke with did not seem to care in the least, made no attempt to salvage me as a customer, and seemingly was bent on making sure I left the call pissed off and wanting nothing ever to do with your company again.

So I bought two front wheel bearing hub assembly and two arm controls for my 2010 Cadillac.
Within three months, one of the arm controls went bad/defective. Then 12 months later hub assembly went bad. CARID, WILL NOT SEND YOU AN ADVANCED REPLACEMENT, UNTIL YOU SEND THE DEFECTIVE ONE BACK, ARE GOING TO KEEP YOUR CAR IN THE SHOP UNTIL THEY SEND YOU THE REPLACEMENT? OF COURSE NOT.
THIS IS THE SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CARID.
PRICES ARE GOOD, BUT IS WORTH IT!

I visited the site in April 2021. Found the ARE cover i was looking for. The website said "order in the next 4 hours and it will ship in 3-5 business days". I ordered the cover and was charged 1900. 00. Over the next 30 days there were several "unforseen delays". The cover arrived 33 days later.
It took me a week or so get the time to assemble and install it. After assembly upon installing the cover it was obvious it is not the correct cover, three inches too long. I posted a claim on the website immediately. Waited and heard noting. I called customer service. After 80 minutes, mostly spend on hold i was told it would take 5 days to review the problem. During the 80 minutes they asked for;
VIN of my vehicle, not just the VIN they needed a photo. Then photos of the fitment issues. Photos of the packaging and the stickers on the box.
I sent them all of it. I check back today and the say they are still pending pictures. This place is staring to smell like a scam. They certainly do not have any interest in making good on my purchase. Gageing from the review it is probably not surprising
