Paid a premium for Carflexi as the website looked legitimate. After a long journey, Alamo HAD NO CAR FOR US despite our confirmation number and CarFlexi visa deposit but they didn't like the rate. Made us wait nearly an hour and offered to solve the problem for triple the price! Cost us a bundle for private taxi fares. Carflexi still has our deposit.
They claim that what you see is what you pay. "No hidden costs". That is a lie... Don't fall for it. Be warned!

In december 2019, I rent a car with Trifty/Hertz Romania for 18 days on the Carflexi platform. After two days, the tire pressure light on and I discovered that they were summer tires, with an uneven degree of wear and below the authorized limit (0.063 inch) and with the inner edges very smoothly! (In Romania, in winter conditions - December, January, February - winter tires are compulsory by law). This changed all my vacation. After seeing the car tires, the staff at the counter apologized and they tried to find a tire center to change them. They couldn't find anything the same day or the next day. Keeping the car in these conditions was a danger to me and my family and I had no choice but to return the car and payed for the five days that I had it. But Carflexi is refusing to reimburse me $181 for the 13 days that I didn't had it. Their return policy is very arbitrary. They wash their hands of all responsibility. If you wanna throw your money on the window, Carflexi is the the place...

La mia esperienza è stata positiva con Carflexi. Mi hanno rimborsato l'importo che Keddy mi aveva sottratto dalla carta di credito per un'ammaccatura. La risposta per email è stata veloce e Argyro del servizio clienti molto gentile.
L'unico appunto che vorrei fare è che sarebbe molto più semplice per l'utente avere la possibilità di tramitare tutti i documenti per email o attraverso un portale anzichè dover inviare tutta la documentazione per posta ordinaria.
Are thief not knowing anything about car rental. I try rent a car before said my card ( with wich I paid online. So they know was prepaid) would work.

As per a check we did in this case, we regret to see that you were not able to pickup the car that we had kept for you as you did not provide a credit card, which was required according to the terms and conditions of your reservation (below), but provided a prepaid card.

Cash payment and Debit cards are not accepted.
A valid credit card in the name of the main driver must be presented as guarantee for the rental.
As our website is flexible, we accept debit, credit, prepaid cards and also PayPal for the online prepayment.
The balance that is written on the voucher is being charged directly by the local supplier, so in this case, the Payment policy is different.
Regretfully the down payment (€ 58,69) only is not refundable in this case and the balance amount written on your voucher (€ 111,12) will be not charged according to our cancellation policy.

Booking was simple and quick. The car we got was as expected, clean and pretty new. The whole deal was excellent value for money.
Simply the worst company for car rentals in Kiev.
They dont accept all credit cards and is write in contract bring your valid credit card in the name of driver. They dont accept diners club and dont refund your money. Stay as far as possible from this company.

From pick up to drop off all went smoothly, car was very new and clean, staff were friendly and efficient
The upgraded model was immaculate and easy to drive and understand.
It was so economical to run and tackled the worst weather easily. The rep was so polite and helpful and gave us a very good deal so I won't go anywhere else when we hire a car on our next trip abroad.
Carflexi extreme non-professional brokers, and they hide their info in the sales details. I rented a car and paid with my American Express Card (amex) than without my agreement they inserted a full insurance, which is 100% fully covert by my amex credit card which was only 27 for 5 days. They refunded within 3 days, but when we try to get the car booked at exotic cars in the Seychelles, the rental did not accept Amex and I need to pay with amex for the full insurance, so Exotic car send me to their colleagues NelsonCarrental next to them, and they accept my card, the rental was somewhat more expensive and the own-risk was higher, but nice people/car. When I asked my down payment back at Carflexi, they refuse because in their conditions was written that only Master/Visa was accepted but in the paper they send me, it was just written"bring a valid credit card in the name of the driver" and that is what I did. Super unfair people, go with others... not this company.

I do not know how they are being allowed to operate. A whole list of extra charges and charging for items i did not choose, such as insurace (i have my own excess policy and never take provider insurance) somhow changed the fuel badis i booked (booked full full as always) yet turned into full empty plus an admin charge whether i return full or empty. And various other rip offs. Customer service have taken a week to get back to me. Unhelpful and rip off merchants. DO NOT USE! What was purchased as a 60 eur hire has turned into 280, appalling.

As per a check we did in your case, we would like to inform you that the offer selected with the excess protection selected had the total rate of AUD 751.77.
You paid online AUD 156.05 and the balance that remains to be paid at the rental office was AUD 595.72. This is what you were charged by the local supplier.
Please note that you were not charged for Out of hours fee as per the final invoice of your rental. You have been charged for LOCATION FEE, REGISTRATION FEE and CONTRACT FEE. All those fees were included in our voucher rate and were not charged extra. Please note that Out Of hours and Road taxes are always included in our rates whether applicable.
No refund is possible in this case to be made, as there is no error at the charges made.

Found this website when searching for car hire, this site came up and was a lot more cheaper than anything we had been quoted so thought we would give it a go. Our car hire was through Europcar and was only down the road to us, on getting the car we did all the paperwork and was soon on our way. So thank you Carflex we will definitely be back to use you fir our next car hire.

Booked a car with them, when we arrived at europcar they told us they hadn't got any information about our reservation. When calling to carflexi they literally told me "so sorry sir" and cancelled our order at their website.

As per a check we did in this case, on the 25-12-2019 20:18 (GMT+2) you created this order for picking up a car the next day at Cologne Central Railway Station at 12:00 pm.
Your booking was placed on request by Europcar reservations department due to this last-minute request and after checking their fleet availability for the requested period, they declined to confirm your reservation.
Regretfully this is possible to be made for last-minute reservations within periods of high demand like the Christmas period and especially for the automatic group requested that is not in a wide variety as the manual cars are.
There was never a cancellation made by our side.

We would like to inform you that as we can see you spoke with a german speaking agent and the reason for not getting the car is the fact that you refused to let the local company (Europcar) to block the guarantee amount in your credit card.
In this case, no error occurred locally and in case the customer refuses to get the car then this case is considered as a no show and no refund of the down payment is possible. The remaining amount of the voucher is not going to be charged.
A no show reservation is considered as follows:
- Customer does not arrive at the arranged date and time (e.g. Being late)
- Customer does not have the required documents to pick up the car
- Customer is not eligible for the rental, for example being too young or not having the right kind of driving licence.
- The main driver does not bring a credit card with enough credit to cover the car’s deposit
- Customer refuses to get the reserved car
