One month and absolutely no progress on my order. I call every day to check progress. Every day I talk to a different person. Every time I call the medication in my record is wrong. I ask them to change it. Next day, same thing. On hold forever every time I call. My doctor has provided the prescription several times and still the wrong med. Then drug company sent information to them. They claim they never received it. And on and on it goes. One star is too high a rating. Avoid this company at all costs.
My husband changed jobs and one of my prescriptions went from $20 to about $39 monthly, my daughters went from $5 to about $350 monthly. After the $3,000 deductible was met the same prescription for my daughter was about $156 monthly. We did better not using CVS Caremark prescription insurance elsewhere and using Good RX instead.
I'm so disgusted with this company Caremark. Never have experience so much runaround on trying to get prescription refilled for Celebrex a much needed for everyday life. They not only keep trying to push on me Celecoxib the generic in which repeatedly it is documented that there are bad allergic reactions to it as they don't care if I live or die and this is horrible. Caremark really should be investigated for their unscrupulous practices regarding ones health.
I had Homescripts before stupid BCBS changed home service provider to Carelessmark... my med s have gone from $70 co pay Victoza 90 day supply to $250! They are totally incompetent and don't know their left from their right! Homescripts gave me a bin number, an Id number and two more codes so Caremark can apply it to the victoza co pay and they refused, they just won't do it and don't care! U send them emails asking for yellow and they answer with red, u send them emails asking for brown and they answer with blue! Always in a different page than u, alwsys. What a bad horrible experience it's been... Caremark should not be allowed to do this " service " Period
I have been on a medication for 5 years that CVS Caremark refuses to fill unless I try two other similar medications first. I have already been on the "other" meds they want me to take, but they seem to have no record of these medications or when I took them. How convenient and unprofessional. Just another lie. Brian( a rep of theirs) has lied to me even blaming my husbands employer for the RX not being filled. I had been given a fake phone number to the Prior Authorization Department by Brian. He told me to call that number to get help with the RX. He also said he would call my doctors office for help. Never happened. He lied again. This number is just another generic number used to contact a basic representative, and not the Prior Authorization Dept. My husband is going to his HR Dept to let them know Brian threw his employer under the bus 2 times. My husband works at a hospital with over 20 thousand employees. One would think CVS would hire more reputable representation knowing the money they could lose if this hospital continues to have complaints like this. I have had this happen with other medications and have had to deal with health problems because of CVS Caremark
Bad company, lousy representation, and full of lies.
If you have a better choice, don't use CVS Caremark.
I would have given a zero rating, but it is not an option.
CVS Caremark is jeopardizing its business with the USPS. MY PRESCRIPTION WAS 3 WEEKS LATE. I had to dig out a prescription that was out-dated to help with a serious acid reflux condition. Today I was notified that my prescription would arrive and it will also be late. I would suggest that Caremark partner with Amazon - who just announced that they are starting prescription service!
Denied my medicine coverage for life saving drug! For a total bull$#*! reason. They needed a pre approval from my dr even though they had the prescription from her in their dirty little hands! I had to do teladoc to get a generic called in and im not sure that will be covered either. Im having bad symptoms of hypertension for having to deal with this at all! This is f'; ing bull$#*!! I pay a premium and they deny coverage? Thieves!
If you use a debit card, they charge you more than twice the amount (an authorization) and it stays out of your account for a week. If your bill is 50, be prepared to be out at least 100
Do not cover her needles. What it is just a needle. As always all about money. Just another college educated idiot sitting on his $#*!. Collecting his bonus. It is part of aetna stiil getting ins. Bills from march of 2019
Processing time ridiculous! Put on hold several times for long periods of time and tell you what you want to hear without delivering. Would not recommend anybody to go through this nightmare!
While the customer service are very polite, they make repeated mistakes. This is prescription drugs they are messing up. We sent the meds, you should get them any day. Told that on three different calls, 4th call they say they don't even have a script for it. Dr has to call it in for the 3rd time. Then they send it to the wrong address. I'm completely out now that 3 weeks have gone by, and they won't let me pick it up at a local place even though they said they would on the 92 minute phone call. They denied it 20 minutes later when I got there. So I had to pay out of pocket. Who knows how long I'll be on the phone trying to get my money back.
I have an underlying health condition and for the past months I've been getting my prescription medication at CVS Specialty. My job closed down and affected my health insurance which naturally CVS Specialty won't ship my medication eventhough I already told them my situation and that I'm already delayed in my medication. They just keep on insisting on the information for the health insurance. It is also very annoying to call them coz it's just a merry-go-round and they don't seem to communicate among themselves. CVS Specialty is putting a lot of patients lives at risk by delaying the medication due to health insurance issues. They should understand that there's a pandemic and a lot of people have lost jobs and health insurance. They should be considerate and they keep leaving messages and if they can be of further assistance which is b. S. I will not recommend CVS Specialty to anyone.
Over the last year, this web site has added to the list of disfunctions to the point that they can't even email a proper log-on verification code (sent a 9 digit number and the web site only accepts 8 digits). Prescription refill options are dropped from web site, but customer service has the data and cannot fix the web site (just takes the order by phone).
AMAZING - CEO better wake up or Amazon will have an easy target.
It has taken me and my wife over 20 hours on the phone and dozens of calls to CVS Caremark and our doctor's office. I have to take blood thinners and have had to get several emergency refills while trying to get CVS Caremark mail order to send my my medications. This is life saving medication for me. It is crazy what they say and then so frustrating to keep calling my doctor to have the same renewal called in over and over again. The information on the members web page is never up to date and always incorrect. I get to talk to a supervisor after an hour wait and they know nothing and can barely speak English. It's like having a discussion with a spoiled 3 year-old. I'm never rude or condescending -- that is not helpful. But these guys are the definition of incompetent.
Medicare part D coverage. Charged $81 copay for generic drug which can be purchased from GoodRX for$13-16. Refused to return item or refund money. Won't send other prescriptions until balance is paid, but still taking premium from SSI. A bunch of thieves.
Tried to order online 5 times. Never worked. Message says my system is too fast. Tried Edge, Chrome and Yahoo. Nothing worked,. Couldn't get tech rep to resolve the issue. This is a recurrance of a long standing problem.
CVS Caremark is the absolute worst prescription drug coverage I've ever experienced.
The CVS pharmacist, who did everything in his power to assist me, was unable to help because Caremark hung up on him four times.
I called Caremark, and the woman I spoke with was rude and belligerent.
If you have any other choice, do not use CVS Caremark.
I am beyond frustrated with Caremark and the difficulty I've experienced in getting approval for medications that are prescribed by my physician. It's a REPEATED experience. By the time my prescription is denied and my doctor attempts to provide "prior authorization", Caremark closes the order and we start over again. My physician has CALLED and spoken with Caremark and has been misled as well. What's the point of having a physician monitoring MY NEEDS when my insurance provider won't cover the medication needed? Shame on you, Caremark. I will use this feedback on every media source I can access.
I've several times gone through the process of identifying a prescription drug and my doctor, placing an order, and signing up for automatic refills. I received a "Thank you for your order" email, and then... nothing. No further emails, and the website shows no orders pending, no orders in history, and no prescriptions drugs associated with my account — as if it never happened. I don't know if the problem is with the website or with CVS's processing. Maybe it's a business strategy: Offer employers the opportunity to provide a prescription benefit to their employees at low cost — which CVS can provide because they never incur the cost of actually delivering any prescriptions!
Hate I have to give them a Star. Customer Service needs to be renamed to "Customer Frustration". I have had to call on one of my prescriptions every time it is due for refill. All of them leads to my doctor having to call and give them the same information on my health. They want to change me to a different medicine which has potential side effects that could cause severe reactions including death. I have taken the lowest dose of my med for several years and while it can be addictive at higher doses, it is not dangerous as I take it. I have a General Practitioner, Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist and a Hematologist and not one of them sees any problem with me taking this needed medication. Their website is not particularly user friendly and many times I end up with a blank screen or chasing my tail so to speak as I keep getting back where I started and no never find what I need. I hate the fact they can drive me crazy texting and emailing me and all I can send is Y or N. And don't even ask to talk to a Pharmacist. I did one time lie and say I had been sent a medicine I was never prescribed and was afraid of what It might be. I did. Finally get a pharmacist and she was very helpful. In answering the real question I had been Nguyen to get customer service to answer for 3 days.
Answer: Unfortunately, my health insurance provider switched from Express Scripts to CVS Caremark. This would not be my choice!
Answer: I could reach customer service however they do not provide assistance. Unless you request a senior member it's a waist of time.
