Received the product in a timely manor. Going to install in a few days.
Ordering my part was easy. Customer service was very professional and courteous.
As the title says, Awesome customer service and support! Had starting issues with my Durango. Every test we ran pointed to the computer. Contacted a company to run diagnostics, sent my computer to them and got it back 1 week later. Car still didn't start. Immediately called Car Computer Exchange and the sales person got my information, and within minutes I had a reman computer being programmed, tested, and shipped. Had my computer within 6 days. Unboxed it, bolted it in place, plugged in wires and the car started right up!
Hope I never have another car computer issue, but, if I do Car Computer Exchange will be my first called for a reman computer and a reasonable price, with exceptional customer service and support!
Received original computer back not repaired. Still waiting for refund.
I called and spoke with Mark who was helpful. I placed my order and was told that after installing the new PCM, the core needed to be returned and my keys would need to be reprogrammed by a locksmith or dealer. What I was not told was that the core needed to be returned within 7 days or I would incur an additional charge and the warranty would not be issued. The 7 day return policy came included with my orders' paperwork and instructions. I was travelling the day it arrived (Sunday 7/31) and I would have waited to place the order until I returned home if I had been advised of the 7 day return requirement. This made me very uneasy and should have been disclosed up front when placing the order. Since the PCM arrived on a Sunday, I sent 2 emails advising it would be impossible to make the return within 7 days. I should not have to have been stressed out about this just prior to travelling. Luckily, my repair shop was able to make the repair immediately upon my return on Friday 8/1. I packaged the core and dropped it off at my Fed Ex location Friday evening (Fed Ex Tracking #: **************). The installation was seamless and my car is running great again. It was an additional $200.00 for a locksmith to reprogram the 2 keys. Hopefully the PCM will last for whatever life I have left in my vehicle and I will not need to contact CCE for warranty issues.
I guess I was lucky to find this part but my installer can't get to it until 8/5/2025. And, he will charge 300 to reprogram it if necessary. I hope your programming works If not what do I do?
I received my computer faster than expected. Customer service was great! Replaced old computer and my car started quickly with no problems.
After 1 week of waiting I called. Was told CCE was waiting on cores from a supplier, then it took an additional 3 days. I don't object to the waiting. My objection is having to call for updates.
Providing vin and all required information ordering and delivery was excellent although after PCM arrived and installed it required additional cost to program keys and PCM to truck which was not supposed to be only to find out it was not for this truck only to incur more addition coast to reprogramed and re key the old on at a cost of 2500. 00 bucks very disappointed that they had all the correct information and failed to provide the service they offered
Very knowledgeable staff. Helped me with all my questions. Ordering was simple and fast. Shipping was fast. Experience was great. Would definitely do business with you in the future thanks
You don't tell people they will lose they're warranty or they will be charged half the cost until they receive it and only have 7 days for post marked to send back the old one... sorry that's $#*!ty service
Until the vin is validated it's useless
When searching for a new PCM for my 2005 Dodge Dakota, I initially found the search overwhelming and frustrating. I stumbled upon Car Computer Exchange, saw that they programmed a PCM to fit my truck and the cost was very affordable, so I ordered the part and as of now not sure if it's solved the issue with my truck.
The people I talked with were polite, and that part of the experience was very good, but unfortunately, the computer I got was not a plug-in play and could not get the function in the car so it's being returned for a refund
I ordered a computer for a car--just what kind of a experience am i supposed to have--was it like having wild sex--sorry--not exactly--it wasnt overly complicated and the computer worked as it should, what more can you ask for--you people insist on a reply so you got one!
I was chasing down an electrical gremlin in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee and it all pointed to the PCM. Found Car Computer Exchange online and started the process. Received my PCM, swapped it, started right up. Great experience. Good instructions to verify and easy core return.
So for so good. Waiting to send off tips. As soon as mechanic gets it off.
Easy to ship back and easy to install. Nice shopping experience aswell
I got the new one and is still doing the same as my old one. I am looking into it much deeper.
Works as it should. I went with another company. They sent me one they had, used one. Reprogramed it, sent it, then didn't shifting right. Sent back. Then got it back. Didn't shifting right again. Didn't notice a difference. This company used my original one. It always shifted good. I always took good care of this truck. Drove it since new.
Answer: No, they sent us 2 non-working ECUs and I had to file a complaint with the credit card company to get my money back.
Answer: It would be easier to give a full grown lion an enema.
Answer: There are only really two ways to reach this company. The first way is to call the number and ignore all other menu prompt options and just press 1 for sales. It's all they care about. Otherwise you will be listening to elevator music for thirty minutes before getting dropped out of the system and calling back. The other way is to send an email and wait two to three days for a poorly typed one sentence response that doesn't fully address your issue, and this will go back and forth for a week until you finally get somewhere. Good luck and Godspeed. The other
