I ordered the double layered kinetic Henley in blue with the brown collar. It's so soft and looks fantastic! Great purchase. Definitely on the more expensive side for sure, but this is also the only place I was able to find a Henley like this. Supply and demand.
I ordered my size in a number of different women's shirts - medium - and they all fit perfectly out of the box, even with longish sleeves, which I need because I'm tall with long arms. I kept four, and after washing and drying them per the label instructions and common sense (cold water wash, low heat dry), they were all a full size too small and a shabby version of what I received. They became instant junk shirts. I know cotton shrinks, but still, for the amount of money each shirt costs, what a complete waste. You'd have to size up at least one size to get the shirts to fit after any amount of laundering. The material is thin and poor quality. The rest of the shirts I returned because the cut created a strange large bubble of fabric around my lower back. They don't show you photos of the back of the shirts but the cut is terribly unflattering when on. These purchases were not a good use of my money, definitely regret it.
Nice pictures but not so good quality products. Poor tapering of sleeves, everything from slave labor countries. Customer service has 45 minute wait to pick up and returns take over a month and shipping is at your expense. The product is not as nice as the pictures.
Don't waste your money on buying this sweater I received it for my birthday I waited more than 90 days to wear it past the return period. I had it cleaned after wearing the end of the sleeves and hem have rolled up and cannot get them to roll back down. So think twice before buying this sweater
Ordered the womens plein air white shirt. It is not white but a gray white. As if you've worn it and washed it several times for the past 3 years. I wear Medium in almost all brands. This shirt had an unattractive tightness across the top.
I like their products. My wife gave me one of my favorite shirts. I recently purchased a jacket and was looking forward to getting it. I never did. It was returned to them because they used the wrong address. And, it took a phone call from me to as where my ordered product was to tell me this. It was only by contacting them or I'm not sure I would have been credited. Nice clothes, terrible logistics.
Wish i would have read reviews before ordering. Was not happy with quality of material, looks high end in the catalog but quality is not upon receipt. Returned an item and never received acknowledgement email though UPS shows it was delivered. Called after weeks with no response and was told returns take 6 weeks or more. Still waiting. Will never order again.
I ordered two men's bracelets, looked like artisan quality on line. What arrived was cheap Guatemalan street fair items... typically no more than $1... definitely not the $128 I paid. Shipping was $15 on the front end and another $7.95 to return. Customer service is a joke, bounced to different reps with different answers to each inquiry.
I've never been dissatisfied with any purchase. The soaps are great and make fun stocking stuffers at the holidays. My most recent purchase was a lovely lightweight summer tunic. It has been my favorite go-to for hot weather. The colors are gorgeous, quality fabric and well tailored-hips mid hip which is perfect for my shape. Customer service is above average. I'll continue to shop here.
I see a lot of negative reviews about this site which in turn calls me to write a review. Here's the deal. I've ordered from this company probably 5-6 times over the past couple of years. In my personal experience that 4.7 rating they have on their site is accurate. The reason it's not five for me is because of the sizing being a (little) off sometimes. I have received everything I have ever ordered from this company exactly as pictured in the magazine. I have not returned anything so I do not know how that side of the company operates. For the most part everything is true to size and is of good quality. I'm trying to do better about writing reviews for good service not just reviews for negative experiences which is what most companies receive. That's has to bring morale down inside of a good company.
Being an artist myself I know all about photo editting. Got 2 really nice shirts for my nephew for Christmas. I was in love with the colors shown on the website. The shirts came in with completely muted hues compared to what I thought I was buying. The photos show the ad on top and actual on the bottom. Quality seems ok as well it should be for the price but when companies mislead us in this way I won't be a return customer.
This my second review for this company. I placed a small order to see the quality, price, and customer service, since there were so many old negative reviews. Having had no problems with my first order, I have ordered at least three more times from them again. The quality of the products have made many of the items my favorites. I had one item returned and the credit was received- not quickly, but with the Christmas holidays everything was slow. My guess is that this is a small company that has quality products and trying to break into the market dominated by the big companies. The only thing preventing me from a five star rating is that so many of the products seem to be made in China.
Purchased the White Oxford Shirt, Salt. Nice enough shirt and appears to be decent quality. Maybe a bit overpriced but I can live with that. Problem is enormous neck measurement (18 1/2"). Most LT shirts have a 161/2-17' neck. Just doesn't look or fit correct so I am returning. Giving 4 Stars as its a nice shirt if the sizing (body to neck ratio) wasn't so disproportionate, and yes, I took measurements. Has anyone else had this problem?
Delivery was prompt. Hope return goes smoothly.
My guys LOVE their clothes but it doesn't cost $18 to ship a shirt! In this day and age of free shipping, these shipping costs needs to eliminated or at least reduced. Would buy a lot more often if it wasn't for the ridiculously high shipping costs.
Beautiful clothing. Well made. Lovely fabrics and tailoring. BUT! The worst customer service. I ordered several items that did not ship together. The first shipment never moved from the warehouse. I tried to report this to them several times with the tracking number. The agent did not every comprehend the situation. Repeatedly reminding me about some 5-10 business days which is a given but again NOT the issue.
Here I am 2 weeks later with still no package and USPS closed my case. The package is lost or stolen according to them. It never transited after its initial location. Now these things happen from time to time. My concern was more about the lack of skills to resolve a valid issue and to please the customer. This is an upscale catalog. Sadly I had to file a dispute with my CC company. Hopefully when the funds are withdrawn trained personnel will be available. None the less I'm sure I won't shop with them ever again. I do like everything I've purchased this far.
Clothes aren't great and way over-priced. Also, they put a hold on your card while also charging your card for the same order as they ship items. I have never seen any other company do this. Stay away!
I was just about to push buy, when I reread the description on a "Wavelength Cashmere sweater" for men. Not only is it 95% cotton, it's only got 5% cashmere, but it's title is "Cashmere".NOT "Cotton/Cashmere BLEND…NOT Cotton AND cashmere!
I thought publishing a description that is a lie is wrong? Isn't there a law against this kind of deceitful advertising?
WHAT, because they eventually put in 5% cashmere at the bottom it's ok?
NO!
They also did that with a "cashmere" beanie I was going to buy…90% merino wool and 10% cashmere!
That's NOT a cashmere beanie, or sweater.they are cotton and merino wool! If I'd wanted to buy merino or cotton, I would look up merino and cotton!
Shame on you!
So I read the reviews many of which were not good. Maybe at one time Poor customer service? I don't know. All I can say is that I had a great experience with Carbon 2 Cobalt. Decided to try them out and glad I did. Ordered online and chatted with the customer service chat line. Quick response. They helped me with sizing and offered a code for free returns and exchanges if needed. A few days after the item shipped, I got an email saying that there was a sale. Of course, the item that I had just ordered was now on sale. I made a quick call to the customer service line and they refunded me the difference. Also received the poncho quickly, much faster than I expected. The poncho is good quality and exactly what I hoped for. I mentioned to the customer service rep that I had read many bad reviews but that my experience with them was awesome. He said that they're a small company and trying to do the best they can for their customers. Will be ordering from Carbon again for sure!
I bought several things for my husband last Christmas. The shirts have been great but the $89 jeans have ripped in the crotch just 6 months later, with very little use. I patched it but that is a really awkward place for the fabric to fail. I think the quality control might not be a high priority with this brand. I will not be ordering from them again.
Purchased men's Zamora leather jacket. Buttery soft, nice detail & stitching. 2XL seems more of an XL, so I'm glad I sized up. Shipping was fine fr California to Florida. Jacket is a gift,& I'm sure he'll like it.
